Or, this is at least how I think it should go.  Knowing them, even the unfaithful Shepards will get the nice scene <_<

See, this is what concerns me. If the DLC grants unfaithful Shepards the chance to enjoy a nice romance reconciliation with Liara, it will allow the cheating to propogate itself. A part of me believes this will not be the case, however.

Well, they said there would be consequences for taking an ME2 LI, so I hope we see them here.

Yay! Liara will be making her return as an LI and fully fledged romance option!

I still think that if you picked an ME2 LI, Liara will still admit to having feelings for you, but will decide to hold off on the relationship for awhile.  Thus, you can choose between Liara and the ME2 LI in ME3.  Only faithful Shepards will get a nice romance reconciliation scene.

Or, this is at least how I think it should go.  Knowing them, even the unfaithful Shepards will get the nice scene <_<

I imagine whether or not your ME2 LI died in the Suicide Mission might also be an influence. At the very least, she would offer her condoloences, like when Ash/Kaiden got nuked (IIRC).

Yes, but hopefully only if you haven't gone with another in ME2.  They should just get this...

Claudia Black!
Not beyond the bounds of possibility I suppose.  However, it must be noted that she has already voiced a character in ME2, namely Admiral Daro'Xen vas Moreh.

Now, admittedly, the Quarian voices are distinctive enought to make them appear different to other characters even when voiced by the same actor.

Also, that fact that Claudia Black has most likely been back in to Bioware to record additonal dialogue for Witch Hunt means that she could, in theory, have been available to undertake voice work for ME2 DLC.

However, this is pure speculation!  No basis in fact whatsoever!

On the identity of the Shadow Broker, I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be the Illusive Man.  I know some people may think this silly, but consider the following:

What's the story with that guy's eyes?  Maybe he's not human at all!
Is it not conceiveable that somebody/thing as cunning as the shadow broker could have had two different and opposing parties searching for Shep's body?  It would dissuade anybody else from getting involved, and with some luck, one of those parties might have wiped out the other, thereby eliminating a problem for the Shadow Broker.  Either way the Shadow Broker would win because he would gain possession of Shep's body!  Thus, the whole Liara/Cerberus link up portrayed in the comics may turn out to have been an elaborate ruse to guarantee the acquisition of Shep's body by Cerberus/The Illusive Man/The Shadow Broker!

Cunning? Extremely!

This, in a ramped up version of Miranda v Jack (which was quite lame IMO). As I've said, I romanced Liara in ME1 then went for Miranda in ME2 (Samara would have been a close second also ).

Biotic B***hfight II: Miranda Lawson V Liara T'Soni yes please :)

She voiced Matriarch Aethyta and the asari Rachni envoy too.

Nope, they are referring to Garrus (as you don't know who Archangel is until you meet him) and Legion.

No, it's just that some (myself for one) would think it awesome if Claudia Black voiced the Shadow Broker.  In this case, the SB would most likely be an asari.

Yeah, Claudia Black rocks.
But, why asari ? There are plenty of them. We've never seen a female salarian. That would be cool.

BTW, nice fic...

On the whole Claudia Black as the Shadow Broker thing. I don't think this will be the case. Claudia Black was already Admiral Xen. And she was a very vivid character and I have a feeling she will have a large role to play in the confrontation that will almost certainly occur between the quarians and the geth. I really doubt that Bioware would also cast Claudia Black as such a figure as the Shadow Broker in addition to Admiral Xen. Her voice it too recognizable.

That being said, I didn't recognize her as Aethyta. But I can't imagine Claudia using a voice other than the one that she's already used for Xen as a convincing voice for the Shadow Broker.

Some of this sci-fi sucks. How the hell can human have sex with an asari. And why do asari look like a human woman, except for the head. I mean the titts and hips and the costumes. This suxx. The same thing with quarian women. It's all the same crap like Star Trek. Don't get me wrong I love ME, but some aspects of it are just childish. Almost every race has male and female. WOW! And they are compatibile accross species. Oh, and everyone talks perfect english...jeeez. This was kinda resolved in Sector 9. I hope the Shadow Broker will be the ultimate sex God, who can have sex with all the races at the same time.

As for the Shadow Broker, I think that we will have the possibility to cooperate with him. They announced that we will have access to his network, thus some extra DLC. We will see.

Oh thanks!

I do agree a female turian/salarian would be real cool, but doubt they will add models for them just in DLC (they didn't in ME2).  They may in ME3...who knows?

The english is done by translator chips so it's not a fault. Most aliens look alike, cause for them to reach this evolutionery stage, their planet had to be simmilar to Earth. Temperature within range of liquid water a stuff like that. Two legs are justified in book, apparently this is the evolutionery stage that proves to be most efficient.
Also there is a possibility, that 50k years ago protheans build bases close to planets with evolving life simmilar to theirs. And as we know it is thanks to prothean technology that humanity even got to the mass relay.

I wonder if "romancing" Kelly or Samara, or having casual sex with Jack will be considered a "betrayal?"

I actually would be irritated if Kelly can't be carried over as a romance to ME3.

Take a look at who voice Han'Gerrel and then who voiced Gavin Archer from the Overlord DLC and realize that he has a more distinctive and iconic voice than she does.
