I think she will inevitably get into politics, but not for many many years.  I really have no clue what direction they will take her character after this DLC.  This is one reason I'm so excited for LotSB. I think I've speculated before that she may continue on with the Info Brokering for a short time in order to aid Shepard in future battles, but after she gets her brokering business stable and has most of the SB data analyzed, she may then be free to join Shepard as a squad mate in ME3.

Agreed, and this could be one of the functions of this "Shadow Broker Intel Centre", in that it will be where Liara temporarily resides, examining and sorting through the Shadow Broker's data, which she obviously would have come into possession of following it's defeat, in order to assist Shepard in any future battles. In due time, however, Liara will then be free to rejoin the Normandy's crew, and return as a squadmate in order to aid Shepard utilising her combat proficiencies.

Following the defeat of the Reapers at the conclusion of ME3, it is then likely that Liara will enter politics and become a powerful and influential leader amongst the asari.

Has anyone noticed that almost all asari in ME1 had left eye smaller than the right one?? A genetic flaw??

BTW I know who the SB is. He is dr Chakwas and he is running his whole operation from the Normandy, just under the Shepard's nose. It will turn out that giving him the serrice ice brandy made him stronger and he will become a reaper. Then tha Illusive Man will push a red button and the Normandy will become athe Ilussive Man's Normandy Reaper. This will lead to creating a new race of Reapers - The Normandies, that will enslave the universe for the next 50000 years.

BTW. What does SR-1 or SR-2 stand for??

I think that was meant to be taken as a joke.

I know, but in this regard I don't take jokes as lightly as I normally would.

Hmmm, it seems that the implied size of this DLC warrants it being referred to as an "expansion", as opposed to a mere DLC. I mean, it costs 800 points! It contains 5 achievements! This DLC is going to be awesome! Romance continuation with Liara! The fact that she is the focal point of this content!

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just think it's a very large DLC....the largest for ME2 based on the price. I don't think it could be called an expansion, or BW would have called it this. The Dragon Age expansion was about 3200 points.

Miniature expansion, then. Regardless, it is far more expansive and substantial than any ME DLC released thus far.

Never assume a DLC's length based on its pricing.

MW2 Map Packs say hi.

There are existing DLC packs with which one can make a reasonable, educated guess, however. Taking into consideration the fact that this DLC also features five achievements, I think it's reasonable to assume that this DLC will be substantially more expansive than both Kasumi and Overlord.

Thats a MP DLC, totally different but agree yes. However Micheal Gambles comments about the DLC being the longest they have ever done wants to have a word with you :wizard:

Those achievements could be for anything.

Look at Left 4 Dead/Left 4 Dead 2 DLCs.

Many more than 5 new achievements, but not a lot of new content.

Seriously, the 5 new achievements could be-

1. Collect all the intel for the location of TSB's base
2. Infiltrate TSB's base
3. Spare TSB
4. Kill TSB
5. Save Feron(optional)

And none of that hints to it being a long DLC. All that could take an hour.

I have no doubt this DLC will be longer and more enriching than ME2's last few DLCs, but my point is to not assume so quickly as it could lead to disappointment.

I'm being entirely neutral so I can be pleasantly surprised when the DLC hits the marketplace.

I guess. I just feel that the fact that this DLC will be priced at 800 points, in tandem with the five achievements that it also contains seems to serve as corroborating evidence that this DLC will be considerably expansive and substantial.

We're just going to have to wait and see!

It is rather awesome indeed, and shows off Liara's new outfit brilliantly.

Turquoise, and that's due to the lighting obviously.
