I'm seeing a lot of people asking that a new look in regards to Miranda, Jacob and Shepard be without Cerberus logos.  Why?

Paragon Shepard frequently denies being good pals with Cerberus with his crew, his contacts, and the Illusive Man himself. A black ops organization interested in its own survival shouldn't be stamping its own agents with the company logo in the first place.

And if you walk out on less than civil terms, I think it's about time to rip their cymbol off your sleeve and paint over it on your armor. We're now heading into post-suicide content with the likeliness of a post-Cerberus Shepard. I think some non-Cerberus attire is within reason, considering the circumstances.

Miranda - Something akin to Liara's suit from LotSB. It's still light and all that, but actual looks armoured (lightly, granted). Also, some kind of proper helmet. Breather masks are a no no.

Samara - Again, something that looks like actual armour as opposed to casual wear. Maybe Eclipse merc armour, but recoloured (somebody mentioned this earlier and I liked the sound of it).

Zaeed - Blue Suns armour. He was a founding member after all. Given it's Zaeed maybe it could be distinct in some way to show he's no longer a member but holds onto the memory (must have revenge!).

Grunt - For the three for three on the merc armours, give him Blood Pack armour (again, there could be some unique thing about his variation)

A light armour for Shepard. Shep looks silly strutting around civilian areas covered in ceramic plates, especially when Jacob and Miranda are surviving just fine in their sleek duds.

Miranda - a Cerberus "Tactical" suit (better protection, heavier armor, but still sleek and form-fitting)
Tali - a Geth-inspired suit (reflecting Tali using the info she got from Legion to create a suite with offense in mind)
Grunt - Clan Urdnot Armor (inspired by Urdnot Wrex's armor from the first game)

Zaeed - Blue Suns armor and a beard from his concept art
Garrus - Nihlus armor or something with similar color scheme
Shepard - I'd love to see Shep wearing something like this (the middle one for male and one on the left for female): Image IPB

Me like, it could give Shepard a 'bigger masculin' look! Kinda like Gears of War style!!

Seriously? We already have loads of Heavy options and no Light. Its so annoying having to wear Medium/Heavy armour when I mainly play an Engineer. We need Light Armour before BioWare even considers adding more Heavy stuff..

My "canon" male Shep is a vanguard and my "canon" female Shep is a soldier, so as far as I'm concerned heavy armor is the way to go. Still, I've chosen that design mainly because of that mask on the middle character - we've got lots of helmets and visors but no badass-looking mask for Shep.

If you do give Grunt new armor please don't do it the same as Wrex or any other Krogan armor. Have something so menacing, big, tribal, full of bones, and scary that one could look at him from a mile away and immediately know he's no ordinary Krogan. Please Bioware!

It would be a cool move to include the previous alternate appearance pack in addition to whoever gets picked for round 2, minus the wretched sunglasses. It'd be worth a couple more points. There will probably be some complaints from people who already bought the first appearance pack, but the chance for clothing choice without immersion breaking shades would definately pull in the extra cash amirite? Its not like the character models needs much modifying to just remove the glasses; the rest of the outfit was awesome.

Alright this is my final alteration to my list.

Tali:

Grunt:

Legion:
I want his hole fixed and his paint job and general body build to match either a Geth Destroyer or, preferably, a Geth Prime. However he has to keep his N7 armor pieces. He wouldn't be Legion without it. He also needs his awesome head flaps. So basically a legion that looks like a Geth Prime or Destroyer with N7 armor pieces and dem head flaps.

One thing Ive noticed about this topic is that most people are asking for more Medium and Heavy Armour for shepard.

Now I dont mind them but, the Last time I checked ALL the Armour In ME2 falls into the Medium and Heavy range... what about those of us who liked the Light Armour.

So thats what I would like to see for Shepard, a set of Light Armour pieces.

Miranda: Base is her alt. appearance black but in a carbon fiber texture. Boots, not heels. Ceramic plates attached to the suit that show the carbon fiber through the joints at knees, elbows, wrist, neck. Fitted chest plate. Nothing on the butt. She still needs to show the galaxy she's been engineered perfect. The added armor, the texture on the underlining would serve to show she's smart enough to fight with more thanher jumpsuit. Not that I mind, she's hawt but a little out of place in a battle.

Grunt: really like the terminus armor idea for him. Perhaps something different based on his passive choice. More elaborate if you choose warlord, etc.

Kasumi: Carbon fiber body skin tight body suit fitted out like Mirand above. Thin fitted plates that obviously provide protection but leave no doubt she's female. And being a theif, she'd not wear anything bulky anyway. No hood. Smoked face plate with HUD to help mask her identity. But only for combat. Would like to see her in a civilian getup while on ship. Something asian, nothing cerberus and nothing like the generic stuff all the actors sport.

Femshep. A light armor variant akin to Miranda's above. So when she's not playing the soldier class, she seems more about finesse and effeciency than brute force.

Maleshep. Again, carbon fiber undersuit with thin plates for best suited to classes like an adept where looking or acting like a tank is out of place. Something that gives the impression of speed, agillity, and stealth. Currently only the base N7 armor comes close to this but not close enough. Think base protection under cover that has modular attahment points with nothing adding too much bulk or edges that could get caught on objects.

-----------------------

Really liked the armored Tali look posted in pic form earlier. However, a more steampunk, brass plates would be good as it seems to go with hand crafted nature of the Quarians.

A alt. ap. pack that was just a few of the favorite ME1 armor sets would be cool (equipable only on ME1 characters, though).

A casual atire pack for male/fem shep. Not just making available the boring outfits the world npc's wear. The miner's suit as the only non-military costume shep has is woefully out of place.

If we ever get an appearance pack for Miranda, can we please get the bug fixed that has her only wear the white suit in the sex scene?

It's not a bug. Her wearing the white suit is the reason we would be able to get an alternative costume for Miranda in the first place. Imagine if she wears whatever you set as her default costume, how are you to gaurantee that she'd be able to remove her top without reanimating the whole sequence? You'd have to assume the zipper is in the same location, you'd have to assume her alternative costume set comes equipped with zippers as well....I really don't need to spell it all out, do I?

I shouldn't have said "bug."  If you go on YouTube you can see that for the love scene, an entirely seperate body model was created for Miranda.  You can view it using the character editor hack in the pc version.

What I should have said that any new appearance packs for Miranda should include a black costume "love scene model" as well as for the new costume that would be in the appearance pack.

i reckon these would suit best :

Zaeed= A worn out blue suns commander armour

Garrus= A Black/Red Assault Armour (Heavily Built shoulder pads with a badass helmet look)

Legion= Fix that hole in his chest and put him in a full clad of N7 armour (Minus the helmet)

Miranda= A recolour of ashleys medium armour (cerberus logo included)

Jacob= A heavier reskin of his current suit (Bulkier shoulderpads)

Kasumi=A lighter version of the kestrel armour (DLC).

Mordin= Something going along the lines of salarian assassin armour. (minus the helmet)

Jack = something that gives her a runaway / survivor look.

Grunt =a more Cyborg like look.

Tali = A see through visor with a technical approach.

Samara/Morinth = unknown

Thane= An eyepiece, similar to garrus's but circular and wearing a medium stealth suit

these ideas are based around medium/heavy armour looks because i didnt like how people like miranda and jack look to exposed. who else is going to attack a collector ship whilst wearing bugger all except a bra and shorts?

This ^^ is godly. Perfect.

I would like to see Morinth's outfit on Samara (with High-Heels, of course ;)).

Geth armor for Tali/Shepard is super sexy. =]

Grunt: Urdnot Warlord Armor Or the Krogan Terminus Armor.

Tali: An Armored version of her inviro-suit. I don't want my Tali getting hurt or sick in firefights! T_T

LEGION: For an interesting twist... Fix his hole with some Cerberus armor!!! xD
Bottomline: Fix his damned chest!

Zaeed: His old Blue Suns armor. It needs to be an older model than what the Blue Suns wear now. Possibly with an older Insignia aswell.

Miranda: Agree she needs a heavier form of armor she's wearing now.

Jacob: Same as miranda. heavier Cerberus armor.

Mordin: His old STG armor.

Samara: Something more mysterious and robe-like instead of skintight. Leaning towards Star Wars Jedi robes.

Kasumi: a red variant of her costume with gold trim and gold japanese writings all over her hood and back with gold embroidery in the front. Make it look like it's a Poncho too. Also make it look stolen. xD

As for Shepard;

What I actually want to see, is another armor pack. Not from T.I.M., but from the Council this time.
The Council reinstated his status as Spectre, it would only be fitting if they gave Shepard Spectre armor (similar to what Nihlus wears in ME1 (Phantom Armor), but the human equivalent) and the upgraded HMW(XX) Spectre Weapons.

This armor needs to look Sleek, polished, futuristic and totally badass. The weapons should also look Sleek, polished and futuristic.

Bottomline: Armor and weapons worthy of a spectre.

+ Complete with Collapsible Helmets, Everytime shep enters into battle the helmet "Collapses" into place and when he exits battle the helmet "Collapses" back into it's original form, revealing shepard's face and making Cutscenes less awkward.

As for Shepard's formal wear;

For M Shepard: The Illusive Man's Costume, complete with half-open shirt. :P
Image IPB
Man, look at him, Pimpin' it! Ain't that beautiful? Image IPB

For F Shepard: I donno... Her old Alliance costume maybe? for nostalgic sakes... Image IPB I really don't know I'll leave this for the Female Shep-players.

For Shepard, a Gethified armour, made by Legion, to settle the "debt" of using N7 armour for his own repairs.

For Grunt, a set of the Black & Green Battlemaster armour from Wrex as a "welcome to the clan" gift.

For Miranda, something armoured, like the "Scorpion" light armour from ME1, instead of looking like she's going to an S&M party.

Oh, and onboard the ship, give everyone ship-board outfits that aren't their armour; Shepard changes duds when he's on the ship, so why can't everyone else?

Shepard can also voice displeasure with the Alliance as well (I say can because the character is ambiguous in regards to his/her replies), so does this mean he/she will no longer wear N7 armor?  Now following your logic, is Bioware to make an update so that post suicide mission the Cerberus logo is removed from the crew (if they survive) and the Normandy?  If that's what you're saying then fine.  But, what if my character is a Paragon who accepts both the task and Cerberus' agenda or even a Renegade (again the character is ambiguous, so it is possible to do this).  How is Bioware to account for all of these different variables and outcomes for a simple costume download?

The game is what it is.  If Bioware has plans for Cerberus in ME3 then let let them deal with those things at the appropriate time.

I would love actual helmets when somebody's being exposed to the vacuum of space, especially for Mordin, salarian helmets look really cool. I mean o the collector ship I only pick squadmates that don't have the goofy looking oxygen mask from avatar. Grunt should totally have urdnot armor after his loyalty quest, he's an urdnot warrior after all. and in mass effect redemption when liara first encounters cerberus miranda is flanked by 2 badass looking guys in really cool looking cerberus armor that Jake should be in. I honestly refuse to play him a lot because the spandex makes me uncomfortable.

#2....Miranda tactical suit. Let's face it Bioware---no one in their right mind would go into battle wearing that skin-tight getup. Give her somthing sexy, yet practical.

And for Shepard....I also suggest something that seems tailor-made for the suicide mission, like a battlesuit.

Miranda- Thigh boots, sunglasses, and the same tightness in between.

Kasumi- She's a thief so something ninja-y. I'd like to see her face, but the hood's a trademark for her.

Legion- Like everyone else. Fix the hole. I like that Geth Prime idea. He's the ultimate Geth platform, but he looks like a glorified footsoldier.
