I want to be able to have him in camo armour but still retain the iconic red stripe on his arm.
I would like something that looks like Zaeed's balistic face mask.
I would like to have the heavy Onyx armour from ME 1 available throughout the game rather than just the prologue.

Miranda - Personally, I would go with denim jeans, black jacket, and white shirt. No Cerberus logos. You can't put her in armor because then you have to cut out that part where Enayla(?) criticizes her outfit.
Jacob - That armor he was wearing in ME: Galaxy looks nice. I would like that as his new outfit in ME2.
Tali - something black, purple, and silver would be nice. I need to put more thought into this.
Shepard - I like to look like Neo from The Matrix when I'm on the Normandy, AND when I'm fighting bad guys on the field. Personally, I find it awkward when my Shepard is the only one wearing armor on the field, while Jack and Thane kick ass without it. My Shepard feels weak seeing that.

1.] Shepard: Light armor. One of my favorite armor meshes in the game is the asari commando outfit. Shepard needs something that fits a biotic character, or anyone who needs more freedom of movement. Shepard's practically a tank as it is, he/she doesn't always need to look like one! [ ...and maybe longer hair for Femsheps? ]
2.] Samara: Something more reserved. I love her "knight" type motif; it'd be interesting to see her in something white or decorative. Maybe not quite flowing robes; but something more fitting of a Justicar.["Lady of War"]
3.] Tali: There is some absolutely awesome concept art for ME1 Quarians. It'd be neat to sort of revisit some of those ideas. Something more tech based or engineery? Or alternatively, a more elaborate, decorative type headshawl.

Light Onyx Armor for Jacob (Like Kaidans starting gear)
Return the old Onyx Heavy Armor suit for Shepard, without Helmet preferably. Or perhaps two of the same but one with helmet and one without. But that would mean adding 4 outfits.
Yes i like the Onyx gear, and i'm with the Alliance all the way.

- I would like to see some similar armour that Jacob wore in ME:G. Maybe they could change the colour scheme slightly. Maybe go for a navy/light grey/orange/grey-teal colour scheme. A fully sealed helmet would be a bonus.
- Grunt could have a gladitorial-style armour with Urdnot Clan colours to show his status? I noticed how round and smooth his armour is, so maybe the additional jagged edges would be interesting.
- I think there Tali should have an arabian-themed new appearance, maybe give her that grafting she had on her arm in ME1, but look more sleek and look like it assists her omni-tool.
Could we make more suggestions later?

2.) quarian colossus armor for Tali
3.) matriarch armor for Samara
*side note* If at all possible include the ability to add or remove helmets to squadmates like in Mass Effect 1, but like Shepard adding or removing helmets can have certain benefits like increased health, shields, and/or attack power.

Jacob Taylor in the cerberus assualt armor instead of helmet have a beret with a cerberus insignia on it.
Give Zaeed a blue suns merc armor variant
Give samara a outfit that doesn't show off her cleavage.
give miranda a outfit that doesn't show off her ass.
Give mordin his old STG armor(like the one kirrahe has but with medical equipment attached)
and finally let us wear the helmet we found at the normandy crash site

I agree with you about the Cerberus Logos, Hell I wish I could scrub the damned things off my ship and get my crew some decent Alliance uniforms while I'm at it. But; I disagree that armor doesn't fit Miranda.
You can still put her in armor, so long as its appropriately sexy armor. Besides putting her in non sexy armor would be a waste of her "assets". For example, take a look at this pic of Liara in armor and tell me she's not working it.

Ever since I saw that pic promoting the Redemption comic, I've been waiting to see that badass armor in game. I for one think Miranda or Samara would look damned hot in it don't you?

1. A type of hood similar to Kasumi's for Shepard (male and female) as mentioned earlier both for in and out of combat.
2. Wrex in the Bloodpack armor (with or without bloodpack symbols, doesnt matter)... Im talking about the massive armor with the 3 bolts sticking out of the shoulder on each side.
3. Although I think that both Samara and Miranda look great in their outfits and I have zero problem with stylized armor, how about something a little more bulky for Miranda. Large armor is always cool! =)

2) anything that would make jacob look less like he is wearing a tight penguin skin. armor would be nice.
3) more hair options. honestly, i'd pay for a whole DLC that was nothing but a few more short cuts like the ones the new NPCs have.

Shepard--I think I heard geth armor somewhere around here, that sounds good, I would say almost how Sarens arm looked but not as intrusive/cyboric.
Jacob/Miranda--Armor for gods sake..I dont care how.
Tali---Something a bit more armored I think....remove some of the fancy cloth and replace with a more durable looking material...you know the stuff liara is wearing in the lotsb screenshots? that half armor half clothing stuff? something like that.
Eye patch for zeed...it would look badass..
Clearly patched up Legion....scale the patch, as in make it horizantal layers of material overlapping each other.
Jack---Add arm clothing, and remove the glasses from the first clothing thing and your good.
Samara--remove, replace with liara.
Grunt--Some variation of the ME1 armor with the glowing tubes.
Kasumi--Ninja suit, nuff said.
Oh and I will go ahead and push the boba fett/mandalorian armor for shepard again here.

- Add some Saiyan Armor from DBZ that is a classic space suit! (For anyone I guess.)
- Maybe some armor resembling the Heavy plate armor in Dragon Age.

2 grunt, give him some krogan battle armor or some other armor that makes him look extremely badass
3 miranda. i would like to see a version of her with blonde hair if at all possible. maybe put her in a skirt and a top that will show off some cleavage... you know eye candy for the guys. alt jacob and give him a shirtless costume, thats the only idea i can think of right now to also give an equal eye candy for the girls
and here is a quote of a post of mine from another thread that has discussed this topic before. please bioware take my notes into consideration i'm sure you wont be sorry

common bioware, it'll take a day to make this DLC, and what? a week for microsoft to approve of it for xbox live... just make this crap already
seriously
youd think they would have designs already thought up from the development stage.
just pick some and make them.
not that hair.
you know i actually prefer the concept art that they have for things, everything not just mass effect, allot better than what they put into the final project... and here's some i found on the internet and in the art book that came with the collectors edition
like for example... the version of jack that they have really turned me off, at first i seriously thought that she was a guy until i heard her speak... but #7 i would take home with no questions asked
i believe this might be saren but it's so badass and i want it for garrus
i apologize for the lack of quality on the last three, had to take them with my webcam because i couldn't find them on the internet <_<
so i dont know if you can see it but the legion on the right looks so badass, i want him to look like that.
even though i hate tali with a burning passion she almost looks angelical in this one
ok so on the left is concept art for TIM's suit. wouldn't mind the 3rd from the right or the one they gave him as casual wear for male shep and the 3 on the far right is of course miranda when they originally made her blonde, which i would have preferred myself as well... but the top left one i would love for an alt appearance of her, please give the option to make her blonde too, or for casual wear for femshep
see bioware your artists have made great pieces of art so why dont you use them?
and on a final note i really enjoyed the alt appearance pack 1, the shades are an annoyance but i'm able to look past them all:wizard:... keep them comming, PLEASE!!!!

Grunt in some heavier armor (Think the Krogan armor equivalent of a tank)
A trench coat with armor underneath for Shepard (Something along the lines of Feron's outfit in Mass Effect: Retribution http://comicrelated....MassEffect3.jpg)

Legions hole will not change and should not, he shouldn't even have loyalty costume
1.Miranda armor without cerebrus logo, She needs this
2.Mordin STG armor, Like miranda i wasn't tempted to bring mordin on alot of missions do to his dress not fitting the enviorment
3.Grunt or jacob, Both their pumpkin orange loyalty armors are a joke

Actually, since you mentioned options for Shep, why don't you unlock all the clothing options and hair styles on the Xbox 360 that PC users can hack?
EDIT: after reading the thread, many good ideas here Bioware

I.E.
Jacob gets Scorpion
Miranda gets Janissary
Zaeed gets Duelist
Jack gets Mercenary
Grunt gets Warlord
Garrus gets Phantom
Mordin gets Combat Stuff
Obviously its just suggestion, and I'm not sure what you'd do with Legion, but imo Mass Effect had some very nice armor art, much of it is still in Mass Effect 2, we just need the Devs to enable it for use on squaddies.

i dont understand what is wrong with legion getting his hole fixed "its part of his character, man" <_< yes we know he got injured and had to make a field repair and used shepard's armor to patch himself up. the game has been out long enough for 99% of the population who actually cares about that to see his hole, play with him having the hole and learn the story of the hole... the hole's 15 minutes of fame are up in my book and i want it gone. if you want legion to keep his hole then dont equip him with the costume that fixes it... or better yet dont get the dlc... the answer is quite simple:bandit:
"its part of his character, man"
*facepalm*... one semester with that professor and i'm stating to talk like him

There only making 3 costumes i don't want one wasted on a legion hole fix that dosen't make any sense when there are characters who need new armor much more
