Give garrus a glass monocle, a victorian/edwardian outfit and a cravat. Turian cravats FTW!
Actually now that I think about it, I'd like to see the rest of the ME squad, Shepard included, in victorian/steampunk outfits. Just because.

Thane - Something which flows with his body, dark colours with dark red accent to it in a fashion that makes him look more assassin-like

Grunt - Heavy plated chest & legs, 24/7 helmet, asymmetrical shoulder-guards. Rigid design, dark colours.

Legion - repaired, altered asymmetrical shoulders with 'plating' along the right forearm (extending over elbow a bit). Main colour white, reds & gold trims.

geth armour for shepard (but that should come separately).

1. new outfit for miranda - something appropriately form-fitting.

2. Mordin - i'd like to see something completely different for him, perhaps more STG-flavoured as a throwback.

3. Legion - i like his 'hole' so i don't mind if that's repaired or not, but a new colour-scheme or new design would be nice - perhaps similar to the updated me2 armour shep wears, would be appropriate.

what i definitely don't want to see are 'gimmicky' things like shades/sunglasses like in the previous pack - for a game where you talk so much (& to squaddies) you sure like covering up their faces!

Legion repaired is the obvious answer.

Tali with a transparent visor and brighter clothes isn't. I feel like she deviated too far from the bubbly, happy-go-lucky girl from the first game in the second. A shiny new costume would help with that image, I think.

Miranda in a more combat-oriented uniform (or armor) would also be welcome. Even the game mocks her promiscuous design, so let's do something about that by adding plates, tying back her hair, and hiding (protecting) her ample nether regions.

I forgot allowing all DLC armor having optional head pieces, didn't I? It's a bit off-topic, but it needs to be done, and I can't think of a better place to bring it up.

Agree with the armor for everyone. Besides that I would like a nice head of hair for my paragon jack, sans armor, would mess up the romance of course. The hair she has in concept art works really well.

SHEPARD:

- Female Shepard defintely needs another set of feminite attire, more akin to Kasumi or Miranda's "catsuits". But more like an engineer or mechanic's jumpsuit. Also, it needs googles. I don't know why but tech goggles are awesome on women. Essentially they're the equivalent of space glasses, and its widely known across the internet that ladies in glasses are hot.

3 NPCs:

Miranda, Samara, and Jack all need full on "vaccuum of space" armor. Cleavage is all well and good but damn if they don't need more than the rebreather mask Han and Leia wear while in the belly of the Space Slug from A New Hope.

Hmmm, let's see here...

If you ask me, each squadmate should have "Battlegear" (except for Garrus and grunt which already own such gear). This gear is heavier then what they're wearing and should have the cerberus logo somewhere on it.

I always found it weird how Jacob and Miranda survive the way they do while the only thing they wear is a rubber suit.

So, if you ask me, each alternate apearance pack should give cerberus heavy gear to 3 squadmates till everyone has one. Especially Tali! If she get's shot, she has a suit puncture. Wouldn't the quarians have made extra strong protective plates to shield them in battles? it's kinda weird seeing them fight in just they're inviro-suits.

And don't forget, it has to be heavy and made by cerberus (since they're funding your mission). I have found that the major colors for Cerberus are black and white (no grey) with a yellow trim.

On to Shepard.

For male Shepard's alternate appearance costume I would suggest something in the formal departement (since he already has so much battlegear). I would love to see Shepard sporting The Illusive Man's costume.

For female Shepard, since she walks and sits like a man, I would suggest no formal wear cause no person would enjoy seeing F Shepard sit with her legs open like M Shepard... But if I had to choose, Female Shep's old Alliance costume. Just for nostalgic sakes.

As for Shepard's Battlegear, I would say a type of experimental Cerberus lightweight suit. Something skintight and looks like something perfect for an infiltrator. It is now up to BioWare if they'll make this armor like the Kestrel Armor (individual pieces) or one whole armor like the Collector Armor, ect, ect...

In a nutshell:

Every squadmate should get Cerberus armor (heavy armor for everyone preffered) (also new models preffered, I hate seeing retex of older models).
Male Shepard should get The Illusive Man's Attire.
Female Shepard should get her old Alliance Costume.
Both Shepard's should get a Cerberus Experimental lightweight, skintight, perfect for infiltrators, battlearmor. It has to be light and skintight, but also look resillient enough to withstand gunfire.

phewww, wall-o-text, but there is my suggestion for the Alternate appearance packs. (well except for Shepard's new cerberus battlegear, that's more something of a new armor pack: "The Cereberus Pack" - Let's your enemy's know Cerberus is on their tail with this all new Cereberus infiltration suit and all new Cerberus weapons.)

Don't look at me like I'm a Cerberus lover, I'm really not, but I find it strange we don't get more armor or Cerberus weapons. I mean we do get weapons and armors from The Illusive Man, but they don't feel Cerberus and don't even have the logo on it. Cerberus is funding the suicide mission, it only sounds logical that we'd get -- and everyone wears -- cerberus.

Mordin: STG commando armor from his time with STG

Shepard: More casual clothing

 1) Miranda: A light armored Stealth Suit, like the newer Batman outfits or Thane's new DarkRed/Black alternative               Outfit. And give her blonde Hair or a good Helmet. / or simply the Armor which Liara wears in the Intro.

 2) Grunt: The heavy armor from Garm/Chief Weyrloc Guld in whichever color with some Clan Urdnot Tribals on it.
After all the hard battles he fought he deserves a real Warlord Armor.

 3) Samara: Keep the mystic Warrior look, but go further with the Samurai Armor. Heavier plating, one of these demon       inspired samurai helmets and maybe put a Katana on the empty Weapon slot of the Sniper Rifle. Go the same               way from old to modern like you did it with the Blood Dragon Armor.

Shepard: Well, if it's an casual clothing i consider a less military, more individual appearance. Tattoos, Piercings,                            casual clothes.
As an normal Armor: simply again the Armor from Liara in the Intro. or the heavy N7 Armor which Shepard
                  wears at the beginning.

Samara - something new, leathery. ;)

Miranda - give poor girl some armor for God's sake!

Shepard - some kind of Geth armor would be cool.

Tali: The colossus color scheme from Mass Effect 1.

Grunt: The same armor Kureck or Uvenk were wearing.

Miranda: A lighter version of the Cerberus Assault Armor (No helm though)

Zaeed: Blue suns trophy armor.

Shepard -- Decorative armor.  Earth isn't homogenous in Mass Effect, and I'm sure that's taken to the nth degree in the colonies.  How about something inspired by a Japanese colony?  Or a Saracen/Franish version?

Legion -- closed up chest.  Someone could at least paper mache the guy's guts back together, come on!

Miranda -- Something along the lines of a "G.I. Jane."  Green wife-beater, baggy camo pants, her hair back tight.

i actually like that idea for miranda, a US army uniform is what that sounds like (or marine, can't remember which, either way, i like that idea)

+1 For a repaired Legion, keeping the N7 in some form is probably necessary though.

 - Miranda : A costume without cerberus logo. I don't want a battle armor : she's not a soldier, but something made for combat. I would like something with black and red colors.

- Legion : A repared armor

- Mordin : A combat suit, like the one we see on Virmyre in ME1.

Pack 1: Miranda, Jack, and Samara receive armor-like outfits. Something like what asari commandos wear.

Pack 2: A clothed Jack without sunglasses. Tali with red/black colossus style outfit, Mordin in combat armor.

Shepard: More Armor pieces. Not whole suits. pieces.

2) Miranda with a sleek looking black and yellow armour. Sort of like the Light armour in ME1, but a bit sharper and more metallic.

I agree with the colouring, and point in the direction of Liara's armor in the redemption comic teaser and Lair of the Shadowbroker screencaps as the kind of armor I'd like to see.

Quickstrike wrote...

 1) Legion - Patch that hole already. Keep the N7 armor though.

Yeah, I agree that the N7 plate has to stay.

3) I'd like to see maybe another
shipboard outfit for Shepard, Same as the normal millitary shirt and
trousers but black with an N7 logo.

N7... or the Spectre logo. :)

While I mentioned my clear favourites (Hardsuit for Miranda, ME1 style Krogan armor - prolly Rage for Grunt) before, I have to say that there are a lot of good ideas (including STG armor for Mordin) here that I would definitely support at the price of 160pts for three. :)

I got an idea. How about you get some fans to make designs for it, and just have it put to a vote here on the website, and give the winners a little something-something (or at least some recognition). I'm willing to bet we'd see really good stuff if they did that

It seems everybody finds it ridiculous that a few characters are armorless, these are some of the galaxy's best fighters, and elite fighters don't need to be fully armored. Many of the world's elite military forces wear berets over a helmet even in combat, berets don't stop bullets very well, but as well as being a prestigous status symbol, it shows you have confidence in your abilities. I'm not against the idea, in fact I approve of it, but armorless characters aren't so ridiculous. I know you've all heard of James Bond, Agent 007, he gets into some extremley heated firefights in a tux for God's sake!

Exactly, Ninjas, Green Berets, Navy Seals, etc. all are highly lethal but wear no armor.

Yeah, that's not true. At all.

I agree for the colors, but this armor is a soldier armor. Miranda is not a soldier she needs something lighter.

Kasumi Goto - Space ninja outfit. Preferably something slightly based off of this image.

Zaeed Messani - The thought of seeing him in some Blue Sun's armor would be really cool, so I agree with everyone on that.

Shepard - I'd love to see some casual clothing implemented into armor customization. The only thing I can think of would be head gear. So maybe add something like Jenkin's beret, or Joker's cap. These would all be merely asthetic of course, and wouldn't offer combat bonuses like all the other armor pieces do. I think it would be cool to walk around with a Spectre beret, like in this picture
