Every person that's complaining will buy the game, enjoy it and pretend they never hated it.

ME2 sales figures seem to be at odds with your blanket statement

I personally doubt they hit the 3 million mark with DA2 (DA:O did 3.2 million)

People are most definately losing interest and faith with Bioware

I personally know 20 people that will not buy DA2 already (I will buy at a discount off steam year or 2 after fact).
If I know 20 outta like 30 people (all bought DA:O), then how many will not buy if I knew 1000000? I dont know the answer other then to say!

Many people who still post here will NOT buy the game, Bioware lost its free get outta jail card with Mass Effect 2, now they have to actually sell most their customers on the product and so far DA2 has come up short for all but the fanboi that buy everything no matter what! They however are NOT the majority.

To say that people are losing interest and "faith" in Bioware is quite ridiculous (no offense) but you realize those that are complaining are the minority; just because they appear to be the most vocal group doesn't make what they think as what all of Bioware fans are thinking.  It's like the saying, in a room the person talking the loudest doesn't necessarily mean they are the smartest one.

I can easily say I know 50 people who will go buy DA2 and imagine if I knew 100000?  See how that argument doesn't really work?  And those who you claim will not buy the game based on a few bits of information, a 10-15 minute demo of an overtly powerful version of Hawke, need to just calm down and wait for a preview that reveals more information before making all these claims of how Bioware is dead, I've lost faith, blah blah blah.  Plus those who aren't going to buy the game and yet still post here...umm why are they still posting if they aren't going to get the game, solely to complain?  That's pretty sad in my opinion.  Overall play the game before judging on a few bits of information.

The complaints we're seeing on these boards have been heard thousands of times before, Dragon Age: Origins was considered a failure by the majority before launch because it was going to try ancient gameplay in a newer age.

I thought the meme was Dragon Age was going to fail because it was commercial garbage instead of being true to the spirit of BG2, which means tetris-like inventory, the ability to attack any character in the game, no origin stories...

I forget which features are now the stable of RPGs that should be defended. I'm pretty sure origin stories are now the new good instead of RPG destroying abomination.

But on a serious note, yeah. If you've lost faith, why're you posting on these forums? Liek, srsly. If you've lost faith (So BioWare is the Chantry now? Dang. I wanted to shatter the Chantry, but if BioWare IS the Chantry...dammit!) then you shouldn't need to post, righteo?

I mean, sod it all, if you really need to post on these forums to do this, you REALLY need to think about your mindset. This is a discussion forum, yes; but it is to discuss the game, not..uh, BioWare as a religion. Or that you've lost faith in said pantheon, or whatever.

Seriously. I mean, it's fine that you want to talk about it with others, but you could take it to somewhere else that's much more appropiate, while we who are on the DA 2 Discussion forum wish to discuss DA2.

But the cycle must be completed!
Just replace DnD with a new 'Bioware game'.

All faith, no, some yes. I lost some with ME2 which for me was a disappointment, but that hardly means every game they make will be bad for me. Lets not forget my disappointment with ME2 had more to do with the story not following the origonal properly then anything else, all its other problems where easily forgivable.  Had it been a stand alone game or made by someone other then bioware I would probably have liked it.

The fact that I still hold higher expectations from bioware by itself says I have not lost faith in them. Now, if these types of "mistakes", which is something I consider them and not everyone, become a regular pattern I will, but if you cant forgive a few hiccups here and there you never had faith to begin with.

I love Bioware no matter what ill blah straight through to the end of any game they make because they never disappoint just because the fighting or blah or whatever gets changed doesn't mean ill leave them we're like best friends forever. I only take time out of my day to play Bioware games otherwise all i do is study for school and keep my grades up. Bioware is like a glass of Ice water in my hell.

I LOVE YOU BIOWARE!

Why would I? I have enjoyed every single game I have purchased made by them.

I was a very dissapointed at first when I heard about the Mass Effect-like dialogue and the Hawke bussiness, I was hoping for the continuation of our Wardens story, but I understand why BioWare chose a different path instead, and now that things are becoming clearer I'm getting more and more excited about the game. I kind of love and hate Hawke at the same time, but while I can't change his or her race or past, I can decide on personality and the way in which we will be able to shape it sounds very interesting.

BioWare is definitely not getting more popular.

Me? I kind of lost faith after EA took over the reigns. I think BioWare has a lot of great people but I can't help but foresee the studio meeting a grisly end under the ironclad boot of EA.

Of course they're not getting more popular, they're only selling better than they ever did.

Duh.
