 For many reason.

1. Games have more replayability, look at Diablo, and Starcraft to this day people still play both of those games and it's been a decade (not so much Starcraft because of the sequel).

2. Bobby Kotick is fun to make fun of. Blizzard fans have a scapegoat for Blizzard's mistakes in the form of a person, however Bioware fans just have EA.

3. Don't release buggy games. I remember when I bought DA:O they had a bug that messed up dexterity. Although Blizzard does have bugs in their games, they fix them asap.

4. Games don't feel rushed. Don't get me wrong I really like Bioware games but I think most people can agree on at least Awakenings and the Mass  Effect DLC being rushed.

5. No ****ty Dlcs. I know that it's my choice but when I really like a game because its well made and I'd like to have more content for said game I think that 5 dollars isn't very much. Then I find out that it takes me about an hour or less to complete the DLC. So 5$=1 hour of entairtainment. (I know Starcraft 2 is being a trilodgy, but those are expansions priced as expansions which im sure will be well worth the money because they add on to the campaign and they multiplayer.

Normally I am all for fanboys going for each other's throats, but can't we all get along on this matter? Nothing prevents you from buying games from both companies.

One matter however. The Terran Dominion has much better uniforms than the Systems Alliance.

Now that we've got your opinion on record, can we move on?

I vote Firaxis. Since everyone's having a go. (Unless Civ 5 isn't good, which while highly unlikely, is possible I suppose.)

BioWare haven't ****d themselves out for profit. Blizzard have abandoned their old fanbase with awful retcons and ridiculous twists.

£1.99 for a pair of shades. Withheld content if you buy a used copy, console focused gaming for about the last decade barring dragon age, which now more or less is console focused as that's were the money is.  Also, ridiculous twists a plenty.

They're very different companies that cater to very different palettes.

You're entitled to your opinion as am I and frankly, I think you're childish and uneducated due to the way you have presented yourself.

Once again you demonstrate your amazing ability to talk out your arse.

Of course content will be withheld if you buy a new copy. That's the downside to cheaper gaming.

Console focused gaming? Why is that a bad thing? As I recall, PC gamers in the 90's were no better than today's gamers.

Ridiculous twists? No more ridiculous than the Orcs suddenly becoming misunderstood native Americans or the Overmind suddenly becoming a good guy despite contradictions in older fluff.

Read up to there, no plans of reading beyond. In the future it would probably be for best when attempting  to make
an argument, to try not to open it with a knee jerk ego driven insult motivated by a desperate need of self validation. In
the long run, this is very poor attitude to adopt that will most likely have negative repercussions mainly on you above all other people. If you require any help or support in getting over yourself, feel free to send a PM.

Now just you hang on a minute. I'm making valid observations here. You are grasping at straws to defend Blizzard, a company that's long since sold itself out and panders purely to the new crowd, as evidenced by their abundance of retcons and dumbed-down stories.

How about when you try to make an argument, you take into consideration a wider range of facts and viewpoints instead of wearing your blinkers?

Why get on the BioWare forums to say this? Seriously, I understand the point of a forum, for people to express their opinions, but when that opinion holds no real relevance to the people here then why post? I understand the thought process behind, say, expressing concern for the "direction BioWare's headed" (as it's commonly said). I don't get the reasoning behind "zOMG, Blizz good."

As for arguments about Blizzard being "loyal to the fanbase"... let's look at it like this: they've released a grand total of one game in recent years. That game is Starcraft 2. The game's done away with LAN, so no Starcraft LAN parties without external tools and some serious tech wizardry. Like WoW, they're putting microtransactions into it; Battle.net will be a marketplace for Blizzard to push "premium" units. Oh, and the DRM is utterly disgusting. An internet connection is required to play at any time; saves made on an "online" account can't be used offline. So if you're planning on continuing your game, you need a connection. Sorry, but this all looks just as "sell-out" as what BioWare and every other major developer/publisher have been doing. Premium units are DLC, no LAN is similar to the loss of dedicated servers in every single CoD-alike known to man. Gaming is heading in a particular direction; we have to learn to accept it.
