Reaper's cudgel bug

ok my problem is i did golems of amgarrak with an origins character and i got the reaper's cudgel i then started a dragon age awakening file and imported the character the problem is in awakening the reaper's cudgel model is still the same as the origins model its not updating there are also no sockets in it and if i make a new character in awakening the mace is always the origins version, can i not get the awakening version of the mace in awakening if i did golems before awakening? ive made several characters in awakening and always the same thing crappy origins plain mace with no sockets. how can i fix this ? please help
Okay I got the rune slots back in the other game. This is what worked for me. I closed the game down and went to dashboard, started the game and resumed the game I was playing. When it loaded the slots were there.
I should add that when I just did a reload, this didn't work.

i fixed the socket problem but the the awakening graphic is still using the origins graphic on all characters kinda ****ty pay your money and not get whats advertised but what can you expect this game is so glitched out anyways
