I find her a lot more attractive with her LOSB look than the other ones, the other ones looked too childish for my tastes.

*looks at blue lipped Liara* Still Attractive but not as much, but none the less attractive, but shouldn't have changed them in the first place.

Is LotSB going to get a snazzy trailer? I know Overlord got one, but I can't remember when (before or after release). I want to see more, and I don't want to wait two weeks. :(

I think they're too smart ot give away any details by making a trailer. Potential spoilers and stuff. Don't worry I'm sure there are gonna be plenty of highlight videos people make, and some weirdos out there (like me) actually make fan trailers of DLC.

Yes, but I will have to wait for those until after the DLC comes out, by which time I will just have played it.  I want my new content fix now!

Yeah, sorry, I'm just giddy and hyperactive, as this thing sounds awesome.  I hate waiting.

10$ = R75,00 in South Africa, which can buy me two muffins and three coffies or two value meals at McDonalds....

So I will take the DLC for sure. I will support Bioware as much as I can, I havn't bought a new game (excl. DAO) since Feb 2010, that must be record for me. I am hesitant to buy SC2 as I am still enjoying ME2 so much! Super game, and the DLC's are cheap, check out the DAO DLC prices, much higher!

800 points is barely 10 euros, so it's a fair price I say.

..which is the reason why I'm waiting for a GOTy edition that already includes all the DLC.. I never would have paid $80 for ME2.. so why should I do that by paying for DLC?

You mean the PS3 version that will come out for full price, while the current game is 30$.. roughly equal to everything with all of it considered?

Exactly.. (except that I want a GOTY version for the PC)

Besides that, I like to have everything at one place.. so instead of buying the game and paying for files on the net .. I wamt to have everything on the disc.

Also.. I'm pretty sure that GOTY versions usually are cheaper..

SC2 is definitly worth it. And online is better than SC1, no more zerg rush or any other bs strategies (that I'm aware of). Plot took a turn for the worse near the end, and the ending was very abrupt and unfufilling, but the campaign was really kickass. Lots of replay value. Its a good change of pace for gaming.

Heck people a wondering why Liara's:wub: lips are blue??
While all the time she's wearing colored lenses too!
And nobody seem to have noticed lol:P:whistle:on Therum and the Normandy her eyes were blue,
then on Illlium her eyes are sort of grey-ish and in the screenshots of this DLC  her eyes are blue again.
So i would say if shes wearing colored lenses why can't her lips be blue either naturally or lipstick:)

*Case Closed*:police:

Edit: and i am sure this DLC is going to be worth $10 (more or less 7 Euro) wich is peanuts in my opinion
heck,  Liara:wub: is back, that alone is worth $10:D:P

Logically this pack should include at least quarter of the content the original game had.

Last time I checked, $10 was one-fifth of $50 (PC) and one-sixth of $60 (Xbox 360)

I agree, however, that people in doubt should wait to hear reviews before buying. They should check the forums, too.

The one thing that's certain is that not everyone will like it.

I bought it for 40. Though I DID buy it after release so that would explain it. :)
So yeah, I guess a fifth then. Not a quarter. ^_^

You guys are sh*tting me.

I paid $100 bucks, Australian. For the basic game.

It's true Spoon, every game publisher screws the Australian consumer base with the ridiculous amount of money they charge the retailers to buy stock from them.

The one true measure of how much this dlc's worth will be to me is if the crew members (other than Liara/mission characters and of course Shephard) are voiced. I loved Overlord, but I thought it was a bit stiff when you'd expect an event to trigger some sort of conversation, yet there aren't any.

If BioWare could consistently produce DLC like this, then I'll be more than happy to continue purchasing it.

Depends on your perspective.

If you compare it to say, going to the movies, then it could be "worth it". But that's a flawed comparison since "going to the movies" is both a personal experience and a social experience. In theory, you don't go alone. The movie might cost 10 dollars, but how much do friends cost? I certainly hope all of you chuckleheads comparing it to movies didn't put a pricetag on your friends.

You could also compare it to what BioWare used to create. A time when a full fledged expansion was 20-25 dollars and provided 20-30 hours of additional content. But now, we've been bombarded by overpriced DLCs so much that for some reason, if we got 2 hours out of a 10 dollar DLC, it's "worth it".

And what's with this "largest one yet". Who cares? File size? Really? Is that the measure of quality now? How big the download is? Hang on, let me add a 2GB empty header to a Justin Bieber MP3. Since that would make it larger than any other MP3 ever, Justin Bieber is now the greatest musician in the history of humanity because his song is "the largest one yet".

So we're paying half the price of what an expansion used to cost for less than 1/10th the content and the fanboys insist it's worth it by comparing it to going to the movies. I guess your friends are worth nothing and the movie cost 10 bucks? And we've lowered our standards so much that we accept filesize as a measurement of quality?

I paid somewhere between $60-$70. Not as much as you Aussies but considerably more than $40.
