And because I feel it ought to be at the top of page 100.

Ok, having seen the comic results of picking K/A for romance, NOW I've had my optimism dented. Not destroyed: I still honestly expect a VS DLC. And I sincerely hope that it'll be awesome. After all, it'll have Kaidan and/or Ashley in it. How could it *not* be awesome?

Just keep Dark Horse away from it, okay Bioware?<3 That shouldn't be too hard.
And bring back the LotSB team.

We know you can do epic stuff: frankly, both ME1&2 were fantastic games. We wouldn't be here, on this forum, still going after 100 pages, if Bioware was actually terrible. They make good games. They've just... left out our favourite part of one particular series of good games. So far.

We've still got one more DLC. It will be VS DLC. Otherwise I'll be ordering a pitchfork off Amazon... (I kid)

We've still got ME3 - and if that doesn't contain the Alliance Marine, I'll be amazed.

Remember what the Liara fans were like back before LotSB was announced. They were accusing Bioware of ignoring them and derailing Liara. Then they got LotSB and it's still the best DLC yet.

VS DLC will come. Otherwise I owe everyone reading this a cookie. Bioware wouldn't want to make me run out of cookies, would they? ;)

I hope that whoever writes the VS DLC goes back and revisits the ME1 conversations with Kaidan and Ash: I'm pretty sure those talks are why we all love the characters, and I'd hate to finally get VS DLC only to have it turn out like the PS3 comic.

I quoted this in the OP, because BioWare needs to take it into account, and it explains a lot of dissatisfaction with the PS3 comic as well very nicely.

Something that should be rectified by a VS DLC or a role that does both characters justice in ME3.

I miss AshPosted Image

I'm losing hope in the VS DLC.

In all honesty as much as I'm anticipating news on new DLC and the hope that we get Ashley/Kaidan in it, I'm also expecting it to be pretty damn awesome and could very well surpass LotSB in terms of scale and story.

Something like the VS becoming the 2nd human Spectre and getting to work alongside Shep on missions that could include anything (Cerberus, Reapers etc) and by the end pretty much establishing a renewed connection between the characters that would be further explored in ME3.

DLC request:

Geth Stalkers, Ghosts, and Sappers for enemies.

I actually missed those caffeine crazed synthetics in ME2.

After the endless mercs and mechs of ME2? Hell yeah. Though I wonder how they'd work it in given the whole 'heretic geth' thing.

Yeah that's the only thing I couldn't think of

Maybe Thorian Creeper clones?

And if they do put geth in any VS DLC, I'd like to see a Geth Colossus, not Geth Armatures being called Colossuses.

I don't think Thorian Creepers will make a return in a DLC or in ME3 since the PS3 comic left Feros out completely. /:

I like the idea of a Geth Colossus, though.

I really hope that the fact that this got to 100 pages means something to bioware.

I hope so too.  Posted Image

And I would like to see some geth again.  If there's going to be fighting.  I've seen enough mercs.

It's sad that something that should go without saying needs to be put in the OP. Posted Image

Even a DLC wouldn't make things right again but if well done, it could repair some of the damage that has been done.

Yes, first and foremost, they need to be very very clear that Ashley and Kaiden are different people.

It would be a collasal mistake of Reaper armada size proportions to just have them spout the same lines like they did for Horizon.

The dialogue for Ashley should be completely different to what Kaidan says.

Also, the backstory exploration should reflect this as well.

Dejection regarding DLC sucks, but so would letting this thread die. :/

Given some of the speculations over the new Evolution comic, do you think it could have an effect on DLC?

Has there been any announcement/news yet about the up coming dlc? O.o'

Btw isn't the Evolution time period is way back before Shepard's story time line? Though I do hope the next dlc theme won't be about 'TIM, our misunderstood guardian angel' ,,, yeuckkk!

I have no idea if the comics could influence the DLC.

But I thought the new CDN report was interesting:

The galaxy is on high alert as starships belonging to the Earth Systems Alliance and Batarian Hegemony refuse to back down from a confrontation in the Skyllian Verge. The encounter began when a frigate from the batarian colony of Aratoht discovered an Alliance cruiser, the SSV Budapest, on patrol in the Bahak system. The Alliance claims the Budapest was chasing a pirate fleet that has been harassing human colonies in the Skyllian Verge, and that it was fully within its rights to travel through Bahak’s space. The Batarian Hegemony has demanded the Alliance’s immediate withdrawal from their colony’s system. Three batarian cruisers stationed on Aratoht are now on their way to join the confrontation.

<snip>

That's already over with:

01/23/2011 - SSV Budapest Retreats from Batarian Space

The Alliance cruiser that sparked a standoff between the Earth Systems Alliance and Batarian Hegemony has retreated from the Bahak system. Hegemony officials claim to have found no trace of the pirate fleet the Alliance was allegedly pursuing when the SSV Budapest flew into the system. The Alliance maintains it was chasing pirates raiding human merchant vessels when it crossed into batarian space, but refuses to release any of its ships' logs. Despite this, Citadel observers say the Alliance's withdrawal has done enough to ease tensions. "The Hegemony knows the Alliance is attempting to save face," said one anonymous Citadel diplomat. "At this juncture, the humans' retreat from Aratoht [in the Bahak system] has gone from a diplomatic crisis to an embarrassment they want swept under the rug."

I'm not too fond of having ashley come back or kaiden as dlc but a great idea would be a mission which makes you temporarily re-unite your old team for a certain mission (including Ashley/kaiden).

I know that 2 of them are in your team but wouldn't it be cool to get Wrex, Liara, and the Virmire survivor along with garrus and tali for an awesome set of missions. 1st mission with Virmire survivor and wrex. 2nd miission with liara and the virmire survivor and 3rd & 4th with garrus, and tali along with the virmire survivor for each. i'd also like a small expansion which makes it able for you to invite liara to your room all the time cause i felt cheated that you could only do it once...
