Right now, I am just waiting with baited breath on what Bioware intends to reveal at GDC, if anything. Still, given the length of time since the last story DLC was released (September '10) it would only wake sense to show at GDC, unless of course something has complicated its production. Say for instance the departure a certain composer recently. I just hope that is not the case.

no worries, they are not going to kill off plot armor characters in optional DLC..I'm afraid if they do kill off Ash/Kai, they are going to leave it for the main game. I'm hoping we get a cameo though.

It would not be the first time, BioWare would go back on their word. As I already said, I chose to remain skeptical until I see BioWare actually caring for Kaidan and Ashley for once instead of either spelling Kaidan's name wrong or degrading Ash's grandfather into an alcoholic xenophobe.

Oh, and notice the lack of a ""Reminisce with Ash/Kaidan on the Normandy" achievement.

Amanda Kenson, the subject of the last CDN and rescuing her (according to the description on my PS3 trophies) I would *guess* nothing to do with Ash or Kaidan.

As I just said in the original thread, this doesn't sound like the kind of DLC that will involve the Virmire Survivor in it, which, while disappointing, is fine by me, as it's definite that we will reunite with them in ME3 anyway. However, this DLC does seem like a great opportunity to finally meet Admiral Hackett in person.

I'm going to be honest and say that if the next and, by the looks of it, last DLC will not involve either Kaidan and Ash, I will not buy it. It's as simple as that.

As a (possibly very strange) point of view, I actually don't want to know (yet) whether or not Arrival has Ashley or Kaidan included. Why?

I have every intention of playing it, regardless. Full respect to you, Chignon, for boycotting it if it doesn't have A/K, but I won't be joining you.

Thing is, that if it DOES have A/K, then I'll be over the moon when I meet them in the DLC, which will just make the DLC experience that much better. Just imagine - getting an email from Hackett, Anderson, maybe even TIM (grr) telling you to go down to the surface. Once you're down there, you meet Ashley or Kaidan. And you didn't know whether or not to expect it.

Maybe I'm being stupidly optimistic, but right now I want to retain that piece of doubt, just so that I can have it quenched in the best possible manner.

Of course, the result of this is that I now *only* want to know the release date, nothing more.

Oh, and expect to hear me yelling, LOUDLY, if I turn out to be wrong and only find out by having played it. Especially if this gets confirmed as the last ever ME2-DLC.

If the Reapers are involved, you can bet that the Virmire Survivor will be there investigating for the Human Systems Alliance. Whether or not they will be a squad mate or just a cutscene will remain to be seen until its release. *crosses fingers*
