But no. It wouldn't be awesome for me for the VS to become the enemy. We've done that on Horizon. I want content where we are rebuilding bridges.

I already suggested this was likely Bring Down the Sky 2.0, Nate. But with more to do with the overarching plot.
Works for me! Bring Down the Sky was awesome, and if BioWare can work in the Alliance, Batarians, and Reapers in one DLC, as well as with Kaidan and Ashley, I shall be VERY happy.
Yep, same here.

But from reviewing the data currently available, it doesn't seem like the VS will feature in it.
I think it's a Batarian centric plot, from what little I've been able to glean.

Although I noticed something on the first post that they said they didn't want that I thought might be fun. The ability to kill them. As far as I know you can't intentionally kill your squadmates in ME2, I think it would be fun to have the option to take out someone who you disagree with or are in your way. Sometimes ya just gotta be the bad guy.

Y'know, I wouldn't say no to having these two appear in some DLC. I never got the chance to play ME1 so I had to make do with the in game comic. I felt it was a shame that these guys only had a cameo in ME2 since it was possible to romance them in the first game and you could choose that as your background in the comic. I felt they should have had more presence and was dissapointed when I simply left them there after the one encounter.

Thank you for giving us your perception as a PS3 user! It is nice to hear that you want to see more of them, and I hope others share your view!
The reason many people don't want Ashley or Kaidan killed is because neither character can escape the Virmire Decision (I deliberately capitalized Decision, by the by). You have to choose either character. A person can save their whole squad in ME2 if they play the Suicide Mission correctly. And you can also do the Suicide Mission so that different characters are killed. Furthermore, many fans think it would be unfair to have the option to have Ash or Kaid die in DLC. For one, they have only a cameo in ME2. Second, BioWare told us that they were saving Ash and Kaid for something special in ME3. Having them die in ME2 potentially diminishes that important role, and reduces them to another cameo status.

Although I'm not questioning people being too precious over Ashley or Kaiden. That wasn't quite what I was getting at. I'm not saying I'd want another suicide mission. I mean what would be the point? I was meaning more that you're character could have an evil moment 'I disagree with your world view' or some such and shoot them. Just some random evil fun with an npc. lol
And if they were to be introduced in DLC. I would make it so the game registeres which one you saved and doesn't go the miraculous escape route and now everybody is alive and happy. That would be kind of cheap.

Edit: Staying behind doesn't mean Shepard dying, just being captured, tortured, enslaved, imprisoned...so Kaidan/Ash get to rescue us from the Batarians in the ME3 intro.

In a manner somewhat similar to Liara's character development in Lair of the Shadow Broker, I'd like to see that Shepard's death has had a genuinely profound emotional effect on Ashley or Kaidan. Horizon hinted at this, but I'd like to see it expanded upon.

Actually, before this, I'd like to see that Shepard's death has had some kind of an impact (profound or otherwise) on *Shepard*. Again, the dialogue wheel should be used to its full potential here.
Top Right: I had trouble processing it all.
Middle Right: I try not to think about it.
Bottom Right: It doesn't affect me.
Personally, I thought it was patently obvious on Horizon that Shepard's death had a major impact on Ashley/Kaidan, but I would like to see more attention given to it (the Shepard death angle) in any case, from any vantage point.

EDIT Actually, since it's here: Adding my support to ^^^
At this point I'd REALLY like to know how Shep's death affected him/her, and those around Shepard. I found it a tad confusing at the time how Garrus barely blinked at it. (Ok, he had a lot on his mind when we first met him, but what about during those numerous conversations we had? Was he planning to finish those calibrations first?)
In fact, the VS was the only one who really *did* bat an eyelid at the whole death thing. (Discounting Liara, since she knew it was coming.) Even Captain Anderson wasn't bothered.

I agree with both of you. That being said, I do hope BioWare can balance it out without seeming as if Shepard is the only person in the universe, if I make any sense. I know that Shepard was important to them, but at the same time, Shepard wasn't the only person in their universe.
I would like to hear Kaidan and Ashley and how they grieved and dealt with Shepard's resurrection, and I feel the "resurrection" bit is the most important. People die. That is sad. But as far as we know, Shepard is the first person to be brought back to life, and is with a terrorist organization. That would throw anybody for a loop!
Garrus and Tali accepted Shepard's resurrection much too easily. "You're alive? Great! Let's kick Collector butt!" It's great that they had their own lives after Shepard died, and hopefully this doesn't contradict what I said earlier, but I would personally be much more skeptical if somebody I knew and loved was alive after two years.
Furthermore, Shepard accepted his/her resurrection too easily. But I've said that too many times to count.

When you start the mission, you have to choose who to aid and whoever you don't is lost.
That's probably how it will go and what the sacrifice reference means.
As for how my Shepherd is dealing with being dead and coming back:
"I was dead, now I'm not"
They're not bothered about what was, only what is and what will be.

Tilarta- I like that idea. There could be likle a whole colony of batarians and only a squad of humans. If you're paragon, you choose to help the batarians, and if you're renegade, you help the humans. If you help the batarians, it could mean that they'll help you fight against the Reapers in ME3.
I know who I'm going for if that's how it turns out to be...
