Didn't a lot of people suggest that a way of starting the DLC would be with Hackett asking a personal favour?
Here's hoping we get the option to point out that we've done a lot of personal favours for him and that perhaps it's time we got one in return. Or perhaps something along the lines of, "Exactly what do you think I owe you old man?"

Well...let's just wait for ME3 then. I just hope that this really long wait will be adequately rewarded in ME3.

Virmire Survivor does not show up.BiowareEAware's best chance to extend their hand in a tentative truce, but they went and gave us the finger instead.<_<
Wouldn't you rather have the VS play an integral role in ME3 than some fan-induced (and probably half-assed) cameo in a DLC?
Bioware and EA are -if anything- improving the story arc of ME2 by bringing the Reapers back to the forefront in Arrival.
Oh and before someone chirps up about Liara fans getting 'their dream DLC', they got lucky. Liara (whether you like her or not) is an integral part of the plot as the Shadow Broker, and Bioware needed to bridge the story arc between the magazines and the game.

Unless you are so desperate for Ash/Kai you would rather them be the same character like on Horizon.

Not the same person, they could do the same thing (in regards to saving Shepard or whatever) but they'd ahve different dialogue because of their character. plus Liara is an author's darling nwo since she's invicible and HAS to be part of the story.mrsph wrote...
There is the part about Liara being easy to integrate due to their only being one.

Now admittedly this would get to be a pain in a DLC but on Horizon why did they have to make them the same? Surely the only difference would have been the lines the VA was reading you could still use most of the same animations. Are you telling me they didn't have the time or money to write a second, slightly different, script for Kaidan (I've heard the reunion seems more out of character for him than it does for Ash).

I would like for them not to be personae non grata. Arrival was the perfect opportunity to, if not bring them back, at least *mention* them in a meaningful way. A way that is not a disparaging, thinly-veiled character-attack from someone who is supposed to be your friend.
Bioware and EA are -if anything- improving the story arc of ME2 by bringing the Reapers back to the forefront in Arrival.
This of course raises the question of why the Reapers played so little into the story of ME2 in the first place, but that is off-topic for this thread

The Shadow Broker, I have always felt, was one of the most irrelevant plot points in Mass Effect that was shoehorned into being significant to give Liara a spotlight. She makes SB important, not the other way around, because Bioware just cannot get enough of Liara.
Edit #2: Additionally, the comics should be conforming to the game, not the other way around.

Time, money, having to focus on other characters. People seem to be forgetting that Liara also had the hell derailed out of her in Mass Effect 2.

better get the booze ready, you know Bioware only wants Liara saving Shepard. She did it once she'll do it again. that or Shepard's ME2 team will bust him/her out.Quaay wrote...

Guys really the key to getting everything you want in life is to start a letter writing campaign!
Yes, there's a letter that has been regularly updated since several months ago. It's in the OP.
BioWare seems to have taken most of our suggestions for the General Mission, and also from what was posted in the "What's next for DLC?" thread.
We're just missing Kaidan and Ashley. I am hoping there is at least a passing mention of them.
