I've posted about wanting this in a few threads but I don't think I've done it here yet.
So add another one to the list of people who want this.. After how great the LotSB DLC turned out to be I definitely would pay for Virmire Survivor content. Please make this happen Bioware!

I can't really add much else here. Except that I fully support (and want!) a VS dlc. I enjoyed LOTSB immensely (was not even a Liara fan) so I would have no problem paying for a dlc involving Kaidan.

It would be very unfair on biowares part if they didn't. Right now, liara and Fiona are back together and the romance is back on track, I can't say the same for Bastila and Kai and Joshua and Ash. Pleese Bioware

Make it so, BioWare.

i'd like to see sabotage replaced with something more biotics related. seeing as kaiden is a biotic and all.

Kaidan is a sentinal like Mirianda and I would love to see sabotage back. They brought back Stasis with Liara, they can bring back some type of ammo that was in the first game with Ash, Sabotage with Kaidan and immunity with Wrex :wizard:

We should incororate Wrex into DLC....Even if it makes no sense whatsoever

Also agree that sabotage needs a return, Lack of tech powers when compared to biotics is dissapointing

Kaidan is a Sentinel which is part tech part biotic. Of the two Sentinels in the game (Kaidan included) Miranda is weighted biotic 3/4 to 1/4 tech... so to balance the squad and accommodate potentially 2 Sentinels in some games as with all other classes it makes sense to compliment a biotic-y Sentinel with a tech-y one by weighting Kaidan 3/4 tech 1/4 biotic. When you look at Kaidan's abilities in Mass Effect he is about 3/4 tech powers (skills) and Sabotage was the obvious choice. Also had a cool vision of Kaidan in blue Tech Armor; looked totally badass.

YAY!
Carnage would probaly be too similar to concussive shot and not up to scale with wrex epicness
Charge fits him
Immunity+charge would be epic for squadmate

Oh, I don't know... I was thinking Carnage would be more like the Cain!

I would really like to see an Alliance themed DLC featuring Ashley or Kaidan. Not because I think I'm owed it because Liara fans got to continue their romance (beautifully I might add), but because I think there's a lots of good story to be had at this stage with the Alliance.

I'm not sure Shepard could go back to the Alliance now. I don't think that's what Bioware has planned. I know Hackett supported Shepard in the email with the IA guy, but the Alliance is political as well as military - not sure how much say Hackett or Anderson would have if the Alliance Prime Minister ordered Shepard's arrest for treason.

The main reason I loved LotSB as a bridging DLC (not a lie as far as I'm concerned) was that it sets Shepard up as an independent operator, supported by Liara and free from Cerberus, the Alliance or the Council.

I do think there needs to be some reunion with Alliance and I'd like to see Kasumi's grey box secret and the VS play into this.

If I may venture a differing opinion, I think it's noteworthy that all the "half biotic" squas mates in ME2 have two biotic powers.  Miranda gets Warp and Slam; Jacob gets Pull and Barrier; Thane gets Warp and Throw.  While this may mean that folks are even more justified in wanting Kaidan to favour tech a bit more, there may be gameplay reasons for ensuring that every character with biotics has at least two biotic powers.

Also, in ME1, Kaidan had access to four biotic skills (Throw, Lift, Barrier, and Stasis) along with two tech skills(Overload and Sabotage) and two medical skills (First Aid and Medicine).  We can read Medicine as a tech skill, I think, because it gives the Neural Shock power.  Regardless, though, his skill set does favour biotics over tech.

I think it's because biotic powers have synergy (Warp Explosion), while tech doesn't.  But Tech Armor would make up for that, I think.

If you ask me, the choice you made on Virmire in ME1 hasn't really impacted ME2 much besides who appears in the game.  This would be a great opportunity to expand the ramifications of Shepard's decision.  Just what did Kaiden/Ashley accomplished during the 2 years Shepard was out of action?  Well, they certainly wouldn't have done the same thing.

I want Shepard to decide whether the choice he/she made was the right one.   Sure, most people want to repair the relationship, but what if I don't want my Shepard to do that?  What if I want to make Shepard decide that he/she doesn't like them anymore?  What if I want to my Shepard to tell them:  "You know, maybe I should have left you on Virmire instead."   Shouldn't I be allowed to do that?

P.S. It would be awesome if you could talk about the person you did not save in ME1.  What happened at Virmire is bound to be brought up if Shepard and Ashley/Kaiden reminisce about the past.

Well, squadmates never get to synergize their own powers together because of the cool down (maybe in ME3), but as you say... as techs can't be used together it makes sense for biotic shepards to make best use out of other biotics so s/he can have their fun.

I do believe however that there are too many biotic powers at the expense of tech powers on the power wheel (tech powers bolstered by ammo powers)... and giving Kaidan 2/3 tech powers (tech armor, sabotage - my personal choice - to each their own) will add balance to the squad... especially if sabotage could be combined with other tech powers.

While this may be true in general, I almost never found it to be true.  My Shepard almost never took Jacob or Miranda with her anywhere, due to feeling that she couldn't trust Cerberus.  That ruled out two biotic characters straight away.  Garrus was an almost-constant companion, and once Tali was recruited she was in Shepard's squad more often than not, if only because Shepard knew she could always depend on them.  The two characters we *know* we can trust in ME2 are tech/combat and full tech, respectively.  I realise this is a matter of personal choice, though...

Definitely support this DLC, though for my Shepard, she would love to tell Kaidan what a shortsighted *beep* *beep* *beep* he was on Horizon..or, you know, in a polite manner explain to him that friends don't abandon friends and he should be ashamed that Garrus and Tali joined up solely because Shepard asked, but he - didn't.

Self admittedly i've only played one tech class on me2 myself (infiltrator) and I was BORED stiff and disappointed with lack of choice of options compared to biotic classes... giving techs ammo powers to compensate for all the lost cool tech abilities in ME1 feels like a neglectful after-thought but AI hacking and even Combat drones are pretty pointless in ME2 so what's the use in piling on tech that you won't use.

Off topic rant: As you bring up Garrus... I did recently think quite long and hard about the potential squad make up for Mass Effect 3 and came to the conclusion that Garrus is an anomaly while the others can be neatly fit into the 6 classes (if we presume 12 - with two of each) and my rational was that Garrus  is the 13th man (loosely based on infiltrator concept *combat/tech* but incompatible as non of his abilities fit the archetype) and my rational was that Garrus with overpowered combat (concussive shot [only soldier class]) and overpowered tech (overload [only engineer, sentinel]) abilities overcompensates for the lack of either Ashley (the solider) or Kaidan (the Sentinel) in our Mass Effect 3 playthoughs.

Please Bioware, Please. I have been miserably waiting for Kaidan for almost three years now. And that's a hell of a long time to wait for a video game character.

There's almost 30 pages of, "why KaidAn and Ashley," to justify our wishlist.

And I'm glad you think a Wrex DLC is nice, but it should go into another topic.

Other than that, it's nice to see all this support for Kaidan and Ashley DLC.  :)

And I think if Kaidan had Charge or Singularity, it would be EPIC.  I would love to see a cutscene of him saving Shepard using those talents.  :)

wow, lots to read and I don't want to, so if this is a repeat, sorry.

I want to see Ashley and Kaiden in the same DLC together. Yeah, one is supposed to be dead. But in reality they are both alive and are in a relationship together. Their shared grief brought them together.

Shep finds out and the dlc results in him going through a jealous rage killing one or both of them :)
