In Thane's defense, that is done for medical reasons.

Thane has open chest for medical reasons. It's in his dossier

And if Kaidan gets to open his chest, i'd prefer it to happen in the 'loft', not running around half-naked

Support given.

I expect there is one in the works, I'm also sort of expecting a third-bridging DLC, following up comments that Liara makes about the SB and the Proths

I remember an interview with Ray Muzyka just before ME2 was released where he was asked about Earth featuring in ME2 and he did mention it, in his evasive "maybe its something we'd explore in DLC"

I'll never find the quote now.

After everything is done with Ash/Kaiden in the game (after her/his e-mail) don't you find out that they are doing a 'secret mission'?

maybe DLC would feature Earth and the respective LI searching for information about Cerberus from high ranking members of Eath's government.

Playing Liara's DLC again, I'd love to see the Paragon Interrupt in the way it was handled during conversations in LotSB in a Kaidan/Ash DLC.

I could imagine Kaidan or Ashley struggling to try to explain why they acted the way they did on horizon and everything they went through for the past two years(Paragon Interrupt). Then Shepard just kisses them mid-sentence.

YES. DLC or ME3, I don't care. That is what I am hoping for.

Never thought of that.  That would be absolutely awesome!  Please BioWare!

Noooo, They'll boil the fish. The way they did Liara's romance. They should do the same for these two. Along with unexpected humor.

-Storyline wise, I'd like to see Shepard somehow lured into a trap set by an Alliance Intelligence team seeking to capture and interrogate him on where he had been in the last two years and what he did while in the employ of Cerberus, after which Shepard is court martialed and imprisoned afrer a show trial.

-The DLC then cuts to showing Shepard imprsioned in a maximum security cell somewhere on Earth, unarmed and unable to contact his crew, all seems lost until a strike team made up of the SR2 squad and Kaidan/Ash manages to locate a spring Shepard, after an action-packed firefight that has the group fleeing the prison in the Kodiak.

- Whilst fleeing from the prison we find out what exactly Ash/Kaidan were doing in the two years since Shepard's death and how a faction in the Alliance government seeks to silence Shepard, as they percieve him as a threat to Alliance interests in the galaxy.

-Shortly after this the shuttle lands at its destination and we are reintroduced to Captain Anderson and Admiral Hackett, who represent another faction in the Alliance government who views Shepard's talk of the return of the Reapers as a valid warning.  The only way to make the Alliance believe Shepard is to first clear his name, Shepard and Kai/Ash along with members from the ME2 squad embark on a mission that takes them through the vast megacities of Earth to find who set Shepard up.

-Of course this storyline would need more hashing out but this is what I'd like to see
- In addition I'd like to see some kind of casual non-millitary attire for the Virmire Survivor

The only reason I would want VS DLC is so I can put a bullet in these two treacherous dogs!

Nah, just joking around.

I really hope we can get some VS DLC that has the same quality of Liara's DLC.

Intresting. This could also make Hackett a major character in this since he does not want the Alliance to do anything to Shepard. This would be intresting since it hsows that the Alliance is fractured and that Cerberus moles are not the only worry.

I've been thinking about a VS survivor DLC alot lately, and one thing that was really cool in LotSB is that liara gets, singularity and stasis, powers that only she(and shepard if he is an adept or trains stasis) can use. So i started to think about some cool talents and abilities for both of them.

First off let's start with Kaidan. Kaidan is a sentinel so he will have amix of tech and biotic abilities, but since LotSB  already added a new biotic power. I was thinking he should get a cool new tech talent and perhaps warp or throw. Perhaps something along the lines of a new version of damping would work. For those who don't know damping was a power in ME1 that shut down enemy tech and biotics for a period of time. In addition to this, it would also disable shields and biotic barriers for a very short time period, after which the shields and barriers return at full strength. (Hint:buff to adepts:Hint)

Kaidan's weapons should be the standard pistol and sub-machine gun that many others get. However here is where we start to have some fun and make Kaidan into a bit of a badass. We give him the tech shield from LotSB.

(Image removed for spoilers i can take a hint)

Why? Because it goes with the whole sentinel being a defensive class. Kaidan uses this shield to advance and flank on enemies as well as provide cover for allies by standing infront of them. The shield does not last forever though and after taking a certain amount of damage will fail and need to recharge for a while. At the end of the DLC Kaidan gives Shepard his tech shield which can be used as a heavy weapon along with pistol/sub-machine gun. The shield heavy weapon doesn't have ammo but it does have health. Meaning that if your shield dies you use power cells to recharge it.

Next up is Ashley. Ashley is a tough asnails soldier so her arsenal and squad powers need to reflect that. That is why I think she should receive two new weapons. The firstbeing a heavy weapon mini-gun. But not a mini gun as you and I know it. No this is a rifle mini-gun, fired from the shoulder. Here issome concept art to show you what I am talking about

http://www.50beowulf...Minigun-Concept
(not pretty but you get the idea)

basically Ashley uses this gun to giveyou cover fire while you take out the bad guys. The mini-gun rifle is slightly more accurate than a non-upgraded revenant but has a wind up time and will over heat if fired too much. Like the Tech shield Ashley gives you the mini-gun rifle at the end of the DLC.

Next,to balance things out and give Ash some ranged attacks. Ash will alsoreceive a new pistol. A modified Remington flare gun. How can a flare gun compete with a mini-gun? It fires explosives that's how. The
Remington would be a one shot pistol that shoots a concussive blast type of grenade. It does wonders against barriers and shields, doesok with health, but it's weak against armor. The Remington truly
redefines “boom-stick”.

As for a new ability, I like the idea of a finishing move for Ashley. So maybe give her a throwing/ballistic knife ability that inflicts a massive amount ofdamage to health, but doesn't do anything to shields, armor, andbarriers. However, this ability would not curve like tech or biotic powers, so you would need a straight shot.

You would get all of the weapons and bonus powers at the end of the dlc regardless of which VS you chose. I know this list is completely unrealistic but hey it's worth a shot just to post some ideas:P

Story ideas are fun, maybe a source of inspiration for Bioware, but just remember that Bioware will probably try not use them entirely, since one of the essential elements to story telling is suspense, surprise, and the unkown. Ex. If my long storyline was accepted for the Liara DLC and others knew my idea, the story wouldn't be as exciting to play, would it?

Although, I really like the Paragon interrupt kiss idea. :innocent:

Just a reminder for future posts that: although many of us have played LotSB and hope for something similar for VS DLC, this is still the General Discussion forum, and many others haven't played BW's new, awesome DLC. If you must reference a spoiler, please mark it as such for good measure.   ME1 references are fine I think, and certain ME2 ones involving Ash and Kaidan are too-(I'm sure most supporters here have seen Horizon by now...). But LotSB is still new, and the mods have really been hammering down on threads that contain spoilers, and I really don't want this wishlist to get shut down.

However, if you would like to discuss specific spoilers in-depth, there's also the Support Group; if you click on the banner in my sig, it links you to the group. That is the perfect place to take spoiler stuff, or if you just want to chill with other Ash and Kaidan fans (almost 200 members in 2 days! awesome!)

If it's anywhere near as good as the LotSB dlc i'll be happy.

I'll be really, really happy if they make Ash a possible LI for femshep. I'd also be really, really surprised though.

you cant just drag a Spectre to an court, or an proven galaxy hero, the media and political backlash would be severe. Thats why thy did try to do this quietly

If Shep. did something that was incriminating and caused an public outcry, it would give them grounds for an arrest

You don't have to be reinstated as a Spectre. You can tell both Anderson and the council to shove it.

Shepard technically is working with Cerberus or at least still has ties with them. That might possibly be considered enough to arrest him/her, even with what we know from LotSB.

Well thy need solid evidence to charge him of treason, considering hes an hero, first human spectre and all. Even if Council dislikes Shep. allowing this would compromise their own authority, since any other species could interfere with the spectre organization through their members

That would explain why Alliance approached this problem so carefully , avoiding the possible shietstorm
If anything thy could charge him for desertion, but since thy used Shep, image as an recruitment PR, it would be like shooting their own foot

In RL, things like those are solved behind the sceenes . An order to report or an quiet detention
Imagine McArthur beeing arested becouse he whanted to nuke China

Not really. Backroom politics happen all the time, they can just keep it entirely off the radar and nobody would be the wiser. Shepard is still the glorious heroic icon that he(she) is.

Yeah, but Shepard is an public personality, you cant arest him and hope none would notice
In any case it would be an media spectacle

i doubt Alliance can withstand that kind of bad press, since its struggling to get army spots filled up
