By the by, how do you think Ashley or Kaidan would react to seeing Joker, potentially in DLC? Do you think they'd blame him for Shepard's death? What would you like to see in DLC?

I'd love to see Ash and Kaidan interact with Joker and the events of the destruction of the SR-1 to be discussed.

There was a serious lack of it in ME2 and I found that very disappointing to say the least. Why wasn't I able to confront Joker about it after meeting up with him again.

I think there might still be some tension between Joker and Kaidan or Ashley. They might deal differently with it, I think.  Ashley would be more vocal about it, in my opinion, than Kaidan.

I don't think they would blame Joker for what happened, personally. They would probably just be glad to see him alive and well.

It's possible that Ash or Kaid would blame Joker. Even though it was Shepard who went up to save Joker, he's been alive all this time and is therefore easier to blame. Especially if you love the person, I think it's unlikely that Ash or Kaid would blame Shep. They might not want to blame Shepard.
On the other hand, Ash or Kaid might be jealous that Shepard went up to the cockpit to save Joker, and didn't stay with them, if that makes sense.
They might use Joker as a scapegoat? Especially now that Shep's back from the dead.
On the other hand, they might absolve Joker of guilt and blame Liara, as she sold Shep's body to Cerberus. They might be more mad that Joker joined Cerberus.

I would love to see a confrontation with Ashley and Kaidan between Joker and Liara in DLC and/or ME3.  AND it would give Shepard a chance to explain how s/he really feels about the whole resurrection thing.

This sums it up pretty well. Posted Image

Anf if Bioware doesn't want to fit Joker and Liara in an Alliance DLC  then please at least let us be able to address whole thing with Kaidan or Ashley.

In Jokers defense Shepard could point out that if Joker hadn't stayed at the helm to perform evasive manuvures more lives could have been lost. This could also explain Shepards lack of anger on or even after meeting Joker in ME2.

That's a valid point, Vamp-Willow. An option to discuss the matter with Ash and Kaidan would be great.

Yikes. I've been away from all Mass Effect-related discussion so pardon me if I've already had my question answered...

Is there any word yet on whether Bioware is working on this or no?

Also I saw people mentioning Liara as a possibility in it on the latest page, and though I don't have any prior context, I want to say that I want Liara kept away from this DLC if possible. Anyone else that could take focus away from Kaidan and Ashley would be detrimental to a Kaidan/Ashley dlc as a whole, imo.

I think I'd have to agree.  the VS was hardly even mentioned in the Liara DLC.
And Kaidan/Ash and Shepard have enough of their own issues to deal with without adding issues with Liara and Joker into the mix.

Good point.

Honestly, I'd probably just be happy with a DLC that allowed me to talk to Ashley and Kaidan, and team up with them like Kasumi's DLC, with all the mission and relationship details listed in the Wishlist.  Preferably the DLC would take place on Jump Zero.  Don't even need new armor (will probably be an appearance pack soon enough).  Don't even need the other squadmates, IMO.
Heck, if the whole thing was just those two and Shep talking in a bar on Illium and discussing life, I'd probably be happy.

LOL. Me too.

Although for any fighting, the standard is to have 3 squadmates. Of course, in the Liara DLC the boss fight only had 2.

hmmm...just Shepard and Kaidan (or Ash) working together without anyone else tagging along could be nice.

Could you see a cutscene of a fight (where there are interrupts) where Shepard and Kaidan are shooting or using powers at an enemy and yet kinda yelling/loudly discussing some of their issues?

"Alliance DLC"... With heavy content of K/A in it, friendship or [most definitely] romance wise.  Like the sound of that :wizard:

I'd love to see the 5th fleet, though. The Normandy docking in the Arcturus space station, being greeted by K/A  and explore the place (kinda imagine K/A's 1st encounter after Horizon could be somewhat awkward at the beginning. From there it's up to the player to decide which way the relationship would go, friends/romance). Maybe the surviving SR-1 crew might even throw Shep a welcoming party or something ^_^ but that's just wishfull thinking.

From there perhaps the Alliance would offer the opportunity for Shep to come back? and if player acepts, has the option to switch the Cerberus outfit with Alliance uniform for [a] Shep only, or [b] entire crew, since they're not working for TIM anymore (and my Shep did resign from Cerberus in a spectacular way :D )

-Just an idea-

As far as I know, there is no official announcement regarding a release of a VS DLC.

Although, given how hard we're pushing for one, I would be truly surprised if it didn't become a reality.

In another thread, I brought up the concept of a Pinnacle station remake for ME2.

The main motivation for this was that there's nowhere really to practice combat outside of missions.

Maybe we could have this Pinnacle Station as a base for the VS?

I'll explain my concept in more detail in the social group.

I love you, Jade! Posted Image

Kaidan: "How could leave with Cerberus? *throws merc*"
Shepard: "I had no choice! How could you call me a traitor?"
Kaidan: "How about we discuss this later?"
Shepard: "*shoots mech* Why? I like it here."

Kaidan uses Stasis on mercs and kisses shep....................and after a while the mercs take a looooooong break coz Kai and Shep are apparently busy to kill them..................

Now that I've finally watched (not played) the Shadow Broker DLC I gotta say: YES, I DO WANT ONE !!!! BW did a really good job with Liara's mission. It had good action, a decent plot with a cool ending, and very nice interactions between Shep and Liara. And they kept true to their word, you actually get to continue the romance. This is what I'd want for Kaidan and Ash! A serious plot with romance options thrown in. I do not want the DLC to only be about the romance. This is not a soap opera. But please, BW, would you let them rescue Shep for once instead of him/her always having to save everybody (including Liara) ?

I think I know how the ''who will appologise'' thing might work, maybe Ash/Kaidan go to apologise and a paragon interupt pops up, you press it and Shep and Ash/Kaidan both apologise to each other at the same time, a little cleche, but I think it is needed for Shepard and Ash/Kaidan.

Edit: Or Shepard stops them and apologise first, I can see Ash making a joke of it first though, but ofcourse she would open up after that.

Ash - ''Skipper''

Shepard- ''That's the first time I have heard that in months, you still dont think of me as a traitor do you?''

Ash- ''Shepard i'm.''.

Shepard- ''I'm sorry Ash''

Ash- ''For what? I was just gonna say I need treating to a brand new armor'' *Chcukles*

*Shepard shakes his head*

Ash-''.....Im sorry too''

Popping in here to show my support. We Liara fans have an excellent DLC now, it would be wonderful if the Virmire survivor got one too that was just as deep and amazing.

I realize it would be harder to do since there would have to be carefully planned dialogue (and preferably actions as well, since Ash is a soldier and Kaidan is tech/biotic) for two very different characters (in addition to all the permutations with friendship/romance/cheating/gender of Shep statuses) but it would be worth it and the fans would love it.

I'd love to see some snarky banter between Ashley, Kaidan and Shepard. Something like Shepard's "Your grasp of the obvious is astounding, Lieutenant." of ME1.

Well, Fiery, I'll remind that you'd have to buy her dinner first. Mmm, a dinner with Kaidan or Ash would be enough to make me buy any DLC. Posted Image

I really like the dinner idea.  Though, not on the Normandy and as far away from Mess Sergeant Gardner as possible.
