I will be freaked out if either Kaidan or Ashley shows up in the red Mercenary armor, or some other red armor in DLC and is a Spectre.....

Spectre = red shirt

Agreed.
I would prefer Kaidan and Ashley not being a Spectre based on the pattern.

I would like to see Kaidan and Ashley break the pattern.  Being a Spectre and living to tell the tale?  Apparently even Shepard can't do that.  :wizard:

Awesome point, Fire.
Talk about character growth and development.

Well, personally, when I was offered the chance to become a Spectre again, I "told the Council where they could shove it".

But unusually, my Shepherd says to Vasir "I'm a Spectre too" (Renegade option while shooting the hostage in the leg).

I guess official status or not, Shepherd is still a Spectre by training, skills and mental attributes.

I don't know how Kaiden would react if Shepherd was incarcerated, but Ashley's response would probably involve gunfights and fist punching.

I get the impression Ash doesn't care about the consequences of her actions, more about doing what's right. "You bastard! You're selling us out!" (to Udina after being betrayed).

As Namira wrote, Kaidan says that, too.

He was with Shepard during Ilos and the Battle of the Citadel because he thought s/he was doing the right thing. He didn't care about the consequences then. If Kaidan is convinced that s/he is "doing the right thing" then I believe he would do what needs to be done and help Shepard.

Maybe it's a bug?  My renegade Shepard told Vasir, "I was a Spectre too."  Because she threw the Spectre offer back into the council's faces.

I like what Tilara and Chignon said about Ash and Kaid respectfully:

I get the impression Ash doesn't care about the consequences of her actions, more about doing what's right. "You bastard! You're selling us out!" (to Udina after being betrayed).

For the wishlist, it occurs to me that I want Kaidan and Ashley in actual armor and not spandex if they're gonna be in any fights.

So save the spandex for down time?

My one wish for such a DLC would be that they don't do whatever it is they think they were doing with Liara. Don't get me wrong Liara looks great in LotSB but she doesn't look like Liara. I did a recent side by side comparisson the only thing I found they had in common were the eyebrows. So please do not change the look of Ash or Kaidan, little tweaks are ok but please nothing drastic.

I actually really liked the changes they did to Liara. *Shrug* Personal opinion, of course. The thing is, she kind of needed it; Kaidan and Ashley don't.

Yeah like I said she looks good but looks completely different. She's not Doctor Who with a plausible reason for a brand new look she's an Asari, I just saw her a few hours ago, looking normal, and now she looks completely different. So I don't mind them tweaking the appearance, maybe getting rid of Ash's eye problem (can't speak for Kaidan) but keep them recognizable.

Yeah, i'd hate for them to mess with Kaidan. We all love him just as he is, hair bump and all <3

Man, if they dared to mess with his lip scars *shakes fist*

What were their reasonings behind the Liara thing?

I agree. While Liara improved for the better - in my opinion at least - she has little in common with the Liara of ME1 in appearance or behaviour. Though I guess we should be glad that Bioware didn't put her in a superhero spandex costume like half of the ME2 squad.

I wouldn't want them to change Ashley and Kaidan to make them more "appealing" or anything like that.

I still want the ash/alenko romance like they did for Liara in LOTSB DLC.

It's not just Chris, every Moderators on this site is apart of it as well. They know something too but they refuse to spill the beans on it.

It almost calls for kidnap and water boarding.

Our last DLC was only last month, does it actually feel like only a month for anyone? Feels a hell of a lot longer to me

Well, considering a DLC is usually released every month, it *is* longer than we've usually seen for a DLC update or even DLC.

You know how there's a rain dance?  We should have a DLC dance.
That involves Kaid and Ash.

Yes, that dancing! *cues Flux music*  :)

Thanks Chignon!

Now hopefully if we get enough people dancing, we should get a DLC update by next week.

You know, Brody, sometimes I'm holding onto that "two months" reference in Admiral Hackett's dossier in LotSB. I don't know. :/
