Agreed.
I would prefer Kaidan and Ashley not being a Spectre based on the pattern.
I would like to see Kaidan and Ashley break the pattern. Being a Spectre and living to tell the tale? Apparently even Shepard can't do that.

Awesome point, Fire.
Talk about character growth and development.

But unusually, my Shepherd says to Vasir "I'm a Spectre too" (Renegade option while shooting the hostage in the leg).
I guess official status or not, Shepherd is still a Spectre by training, skills and mental attributes.
I don't know how Kaiden would react if Shepherd was incarcerated, but Ashley's response would probably involve gunfights and fist punching.
I get the impression Ash doesn't care about the consequences of her actions, more about doing what's right. "You bastard! You're selling us out!" (to Udina after being betrayed).

As Namira wrote, Kaidan says that, too.
He was with Shepard during Ilos and the Battle of the Citadel because he thought s/he was doing the right thing. He didn't care about the consequences then. If Kaidan is convinced that s/he is "doing the right thing" then I believe he would do what needs to be done and help Shepard.

Well, personally, when I was offered the chance to become a Spectre again, I "told the Council where they could shove it".
But unusually, my Shepherd says to Vasir "I'm a Spectre too" (Renegade option while shooting the hostage in the leg).
Maybe it's a bug? My renegade Shepard told Vasir, "I was a Spectre too." Because she threw the Spectre offer back into the council's faces.
I like what Tilara and Chignon said about Ash and Kaid respectfully:

What were their reasonings behind the Liara thing?

Yeah like I said she looks good but looks completely different. She's not Doctor Who with a plausible reason for a brand new look she's an Asari, I just saw her a few hours ago, looking normal, and now she looks completely different. So I don't mind them tweaking the appearance, maybe getting rid of Ash's eye problem (can't speak for Kaidan) but keep them recognizable.
I agree. While Liara improved for the better - in my opinion at least - she has little in common with the Liara of ME1 in appearance or behaviour. Though I guess we should be glad that Bioware didn't put her in a superhero spandex costume like half of the ME2 squad.
I wouldn't want them to change Ashley and Kaidan to make them more "appealing" or anything like that.

Our last DLC was only last month, does it actually feel like only a month for anyone? Feels a hell of a lot longer to me

You know how there's a rain dance? We should have a DLC dance.
That involves Kaid and Ash.

Well, considering a DLC is usually released every month, it *is* longer than we've usually seen for a DLC update or even DLC.

Something like this perhaps?

(I couldn't find one of Ash.

Thanks Chignon!
Now hopefully if we get enough people dancing, we should get a DLC update by next week.
