I'm Australian too!

I have all sorts of weird problems with Star Trek Online.
For example, when they tell me something is out Saturday, to me, that means Sunday.

A similar thing happens with the Mass Effect DLC announcements.
I'm a day ahead of them as well.

I'm actually wondering if Mass Effect 2's purpose was to partially minimalize the original squad.

Liara is now out of the running to be a squadmate ever again, Wrex is stuck on Tuchanka, the VS, came and went so fast I was left wanting so much more!

And the VS seems to have gotten the shortest end of this stick.
Wrex and Liara can still be visited, but you can't go anywhere and visit the VS!

the moment a new dlc for kaidan or ash is released is the moment i buy it right away.   needless to say i also agree with all has been stated above.   the approach was taken in ME2 was very dissapointing.  they better not leave things the way they are right now.   i wish we would get DLC more often cause is a nice way to keep us motived untill ME3 gets released , so who knows how much longer we gonna need to wait, a year perhaps 2?  lets cross the fingers and will happen sooner.

i totally support this thread and all the ideas listed above.

Totally support this idea for a new DLC.

Hope Bioware will seriously consider it.

Just adding a 'do want' b/c I do buy all the story dlc for Bioware games.

Am curious how it would handle if you romanced an ME2 character.

Im interested in how they'd write that situation too, not that itd be worth cheating on Kaidan...

What am i saying? It'll probably be another one liner like LotSB Posted Image

I don't think there will be any kind of real ramifications until ME3. I guess we will find out IF they ever make this DLC Posted Image

I'd like to know what Kaidan is up to. And my girlfriend would like to get to know her Kaidan all over again she said.

I think it was really lame that after Horizon Kai/Ash just disappeared. Where in the world did they go? I was hoping that after the Suicide Mission that we would have been able to see them and talk to them....Horizon was just so LAME!

Horizon is one of those things where, a hell of a lot of people moan about it, but i actually hope the devs take notice, as opposed to passing it off as 'you cant please everyone' or 'some people just like to moan' as they so often do on this site (though its mostly understandable)

It's easy for people to complain, and it's easy for BioWare to dismiss because of all the great reviews their game has received. Both groups have their points.

They obviously listen to some fan advice, such as making Tali and Garrus LIs, or making LotSB awesome, I guess a lot of issues were addressed in there that fans were unhappy with.

Lol 'making LotSB awesome'. All this time we've been asking for VS DLC, we hardly ever specify that it be awesome! We must do this

Hmmm, speaking of Horizon-- I posted this elsewhere a while ago:

"Why introduce a point of tension if not to capitalize on it? I imagine that Horizon will be either the low point/moment of frustration in a love story that continues to epic wonderfulness... or the first break in a relationship that is doomed to fail... and which one it is will depend on which way the photo stands at the end of ME2."

This may be just wishful thinking, but I am really hoping that after ME3 is all played and done I will be able to look back on Horizon with some measure of fond nostalgia and think: "Oh yes, that's when Kaidan (or Ash) and Shep had reached their bleakest moment. They could never have suspected the wonderful turn their story would take, leaving them both so happy together at the end of ME3."

I just have this hope that despite Shep's bad dialogue options, Horizon will only look so awful right now-- in the interim between ME2 and ME3 (or ME2 and a VS DLC). Once we get to the point where we know that an emotionally and physically satisfying ending for Shep and Kaidan/Ash is among the possible outcomes, maybe we will be able to appreciate the dramatic tension that Horizon introduces to their story... Here's hoping :)

Not to get too off topic but I have a funny feeling we won't get any info on DLC of any type right up until maybe the end of the year. Just a feeling. By the way, if you haven't already please be sure to check out and join the support group for this DLC here:

We're at 467 members and counting! lets continue to get the ball rolling on this DLC and see it produced! :)

You're awesome, Ava! I love to read your posts.

The problem was not that Horizon was the low point - so far, at least - in the relationship but how that low point was handled: as a convenient plot device and little else.

Animations, behaviour of Shepard, Kaidan and Ashley - it all was just not up to par with what I had come to expect from a company like Bioware.

And 467 members? Wow, I'm amazed.

You're right, Chignon, I'm really disappointed in a lot of things about Horizon, but sometimes the perpetual optimist/paragon in me just soars through and I can't help but imagine how great it will be when... :)

Do you guys think that the dev's think we only chose Kaidan and Ashley because they were the only option for us? (Beside Liara, who some did not choose due to her femininity/race/kaidan was too awesome etc) Do you think they just expected us to rejoice at the new options we had for LI's in the second one, hence the cold shoulder from our originals?

I think that there was a team shuffle, the new team didn't like them or found them dull, pushed them aside for their bigger, better characters, and probably don't really see why we enjoyed them or continue to enjoy them.

I am, however, paranoid.  So you don't have to listen to me.  ^_^

I was just about to write something similiar.

So no, you're not paranoid. Or we both are. Posted Image

They don't send Spectres top Alliance personnel to colonies that were established to get away from Alliance and Citadel politics in the Terminus systems.  <_<

I want an explanation to how the Terminus systems and the Alliance are not at war despite this outreach program, by the way.  I doubt it would be included in the DLC, but....

I know. I want to know a lot more about what the Alliance is up to. Sometimes I get the feeling that the VS is being played like a pawn in something seriously sketchy that the Alliance is doing...

Hmmm, just because i'm paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after me ;)
