If you cheated, yes it should come up, but I think both A & K would react differently to Liara.

Yes, they should react differently than Liara - and also from one another. I wouldn't want to be MShep, though, when Ash finds out. (;

I'm not very optimistic about DLC for the VS. According to BioWare LOTSB was supposed to be in ME2 but, they were having problems with the car chase scene so they cut it. The 7th will make it 2 months since LOTSB's release and they haven't announced anything.

I'm beginning to think that we are just going to have to wait until ME3 for Kai/Ash which will totally suck in my book. Or we have to wait until after DA 2 for any type of DLC since that and the port to PS3 is what they seem to be focusing on Posted Image

Think positive now, and remember that when Lair of the Shadow Broker was announced it was an additional 2 months before we got it and people were not pleased about the long gap from the announcement to the release, I'll bet next time they announce something they don't want another gap like that again. They'll wait until it's close to being finished. Also, with the PS3 release coming up they'll want to concentrate on getting that out the door with the highest quality possible in the amount of time they have. I'd bet good money that they'll announce something close to before, during, or shortly after its release. Oh, and by the way, the Kaidan and Ashley DLC Support Group is at 483 members now! Let's keep it up!

My VS survivor DLC wishlist is for there not to be one, imo they were both bland and frankly annoying character who have little relevance in making the universe more ready to battle the reapers, surely a Wrex uniting the Krogans would be better or expanding on characters from ME2's plot ie finding a cure for Thane, helping Mordin cure the Genophage, finding and eliminating those who took out Garrus' men etc etc etc theres so many more interesting opportunities for DLC than just convincing the VS that your not a total dick despite having already stopped working for Cerberus...... just my humble opinion ofc but i mean surely there is more exiting ideas than just fan service for VS fans personally i cant see any real universe changing events that could occur from said DLC as they work for alliance and are on the same side as you.

Here's a simple solution for you, Rads: Don't buy it if it should indeed come out.

Well we know SOMETHING will be done about our VS we just don't know what. I'd say there is about a 60% chance we'll get a DLC but I won't be surprised if it is saved for ME3. Bottom line we just don't know how they are planning on moving the story along.

I prefer to think of the delay as them waiting for the voice actors' schecules to clear up so they can go to work on the DLC. At least, that is my fragile hope.

Because Brody asked me to, I decided to post my new photomanip here. Posted Image

It was inspired by the discussion about adding a picture to the empty frame in Shepard's cabin a few pages back:

Is it me or is there a distinct lack of activity with Mass Effect lately?

At least once a month, something used to happen, even if it was only a weapons pack DLC or something like that.

I was hoping for an Appearance pack (preferably one that fixes that hole in Legion) by now.

It's odd the first one is numbered, like there's going to be more, but we haven't seen a second one.

I hope they haven't stopped making DLC.

On the other hand, I'm okay with a delay for those other DLCs if they're putting all the work into a VS DLC.......

I suspect that they're concentrating on the PS3 release.  Particularly since any DLC up to that point they have to give away for free, while they could still charge for any DLC released after that.

Then again, I also suspect that BioWare, or at least the Mass Effect team, may not be doing well in EA's eyes.

But maybe it's something simple and less convoluted: such as they merely haven't decided what's next yet.

SInce Ash is the jealous type she should dump male shep's ass if he cheated

Ash sends you the message and you still cheat on her should mean no Ash for you

I wonder if BioWare really thinking about VS DLC. Liara has a comic book, and on Illium gives us some quests, and now she has DLC. It's ok but what about VS? Ash/Kai ? We see them only once in ME2. Mkey, they send to us email but that's all. We can even go back to Wrex on Tuchanka whenever we want. Maybe other people should put Garrus/Tali in VS' place. To feel like we do. Besides... Do we really have to wait for ME3 to see again Ash/Kai? To continue romance?
BioWare, don't do this to us.

Now I ask all of you, ppl. Do we really get our DLC?
In my opinion: If we don't get that, then it'll be pretty damn unfair.

PS: Sorry for any mistakes.

My honest opinion is that we will get no DLC. To me it feels like Ash and Kaidan have already been put aside and we are expected to just accept that. I could have excused the treatment they got in ME2 if they'd been treated as any other LI in the following DLCs: a mention acknowledging the romance in the Kasumi DLC and one in Liara's DLC. In the last one we do get a mention but it pales in comparison when you get to mention every other LI to Liara as your reason to fight. What do we get instead? One line that follows by a dig from Liara's side, commenting about Ash and Kaidan's short-sightedness.

It seems highly unlikely to me that Bioware will break this pattern with a VS DLC or a role that we as fans of Ash and Kaidan will be satisfied with in ME3.

I hope but I don't believe it.

I'd love to be proven wrong, though.

tbh i don't want the virmire survivor to come back in DLC - they've moved on, so has shepard, going back would be like treading water, and i don't think they'd do that in a dlc. i do see them returning in some capacity for me3 though.

Every Shepard is different - mine hasn't moved on and  judging by Horizon and the following message the same can be said for Kaidan and Ashley. That is of course just my opinion.

I'd welcome to get the same chance to reconcile (or not, if you do not want your Shepard to do that) as Liara fans did.

I'd say that Liara is the other main character of Mass Effect besides Shepard. She has the most story relevance out of all of the characters and even her own comic books and DLC. And she's the only squad mate who cannot die in any way.

That is of course true, but not related to the topic of a VS DLC.

To prevent disappointment it's something people may benefit from considering. Liara is more important than other squad mate. They may give Liara DLC but none for VS because they deem the VS to be less important.

That said? I expect the VS to get DLC, and I certainly support it. But there's still a reasonable chance that they won't, because Liara is simply on a higher level according to Bioware.
