I just got a lovely reply from Jesse, I will just pop the most important part of his reply on here
''I can't give details for obvious reasons. But I can tell you that I've not forgotten Ash and Kaiden at all. They are pivotal to the Mass Effect franchise... I wish I could tell you more!''
How nice is that? :-)
PS he uses smileys a lot too, lol ;-)

Makes me feel all warm and happy  ^_^^_^^_^ I'm all good now ^_^ thank you Mr. Jesse, you have banished my deepest darkest nightmare :wub::wub:

Your idea is nice but, there are two problems. 1) This mission only involves Kaidan and we all know that Bio is not going to make 2 seperate DLC's for Ash and Kaidan. 2) Rhana is so old news. She kicked him to the curb and I seriously doubt that Kaidan even cares what happens to her at this point. To bring her back now  and have Kaidan get upset if you don't save her would imply that Kaidan has been harboring feelings for her since he was a teen. And if that were the case then he would never have been with Shepard because, that is type of man he is.

As far as the the Dr. on the citadel...I don't think it was anything more than drinks. I think all of us here believe that Kai/Ash haven't moved on. However, they don't know what to think about Shep since (S)He is working with Cerberus.

But your enthusiasm is great Posted Image  and thanks for giving such a detailed post Posted Image

We probably won't get any more DLC until after the PS3 release. If they release it now then they will probably have to add it to the free content that the PS3 users will get.

Me too, lol. He is lucky I live in the UK or I would be ordering some night vision goggles for the stalking ;):o
It is nice when someone at BioWare acknowledges their fans hopes and doesn't crush them (like some I could mention.............)

I agree! It is the *real* long term romance. Like Ross and Rachel compared to Monica and Chandler or Phoebe and Mike. People tuned in to Friends for 10 years waiting for Ross and Rachel to 'be together'! All the rest was just the icing on the cake, decoration to the main love story (imo). Mass Effect 2's events will make the true reunion all the sweeter :)

Tension-building for a romance can lead to tremendous satisfaction when it is resolved, but I hope we don't have to wait ten years.  Or, even worse, have it touched on with no evolution or growth in the relationship.  (Bones, I'm looking at you.)

Just my opinion though; no need to go spreading it around.;)

Wouldn't that be just awful...................
Don't even talk about Bones to my husband, honestly if wishing was enough to make something happen, lol......

I agree, but BW have set us up for something really nice. They could still miss the mark of course, but I don´t think they will. That message from Jesse really made me look forward to the comming chapters. Posted Image

Honestly? I don't really care too much about DLC specifics as long as they're fun, explosive, interesting (the car chase with something different and I'd like to see more innovative quirks like that), gripping and most of all, fun. That being said, I DO hope that there's a DLC that allows players to continue their romances with the surviving human squad member Ash or Alenko. Other than that, I just want them to be fun and enjoyable.

I think we all want that :)

It's a shame if no more DLCs come out this year. Would be awesome to get a dose of Kaidan before Christmas. As for the whole PS3 release...I don't know. Since LotSB and VA-survivor DLC would both be bridge DLCs then it wouldn't be a wonder if PS3 got them both for free, no? It's odd that PC users have to pay for them since they build bridges to ME3 but I don't mind personally...as long as I get the DLCs.

One can only hope for an end of the year release I guess.

I would really like just an annoucement of a VS DLC before Christmas, as a way of being happy and content. Decent DLC takes time to make, and if it's the same quality as LotSB, then it will be worth the wait. Even if they announce it next week, to launch in Feb next year for example, it's something to look forward to. Right now, ME2 is sitting idle on my hard drive, taking up space as I wait for more DLC. It just would be nice to know what is going to happen for the future of ME2 DLC.

I hope it's announced before the PS3 date and released on the same day. So PS3 users get "day one DLC" and we get an announcement. Best of both worlds, no?

That'd be really nice - I doubt it, though.

I have faith in Ash/Kaidan dlc but i think we still have several months. That thought is based on the period of time between the realease of ME2 and the first major bridging dlc, LotSB.

Yes that would be nice...but I have to agree with Chig that it probably won't happen. Even though I am curious as to what this huge DLC that Bio is working on involves. I really hope it has something to do with the VS and the Alliance Posted Image

I'm also curious. I miss the Alliance. And Kaidan. And Ash. And Hackett. I could go on forever.

Still getting members for the Kaidan and Ashley DLC Support Group! It's not at 509 members now! Great! I am hopeful that it will eventually happen. People begged Bioware for some Liara DLC and lo' and behold it happened. Things are looking up even if some cannot see it. :)

All i want is Ashley back in my Shep's arms, cause i just can't stand seeing that scene on horizon where she chews me out. Even with Garrus and Tali'Zorah there, she'll still think we betrayed her. :crying:

Now that I think about it... I would much rather we not get DLC and instead get a full on inclusion for ME3.

It might give Bioware a reason to go Lazy.... I mean, LoTSB all but confirms that Liara wont be in your Squad by ME3. If they make a DLC for Ashley/Kaiden they might not give them a huge role in ME3 either.
