Not necessarily. Liara may or may not be a squad mate in ME3 but the same will not hold true for Kaiden/Ashley since those two are combat specific classes and there roles in the ME universe are geared as such, unlike Liara where I saw the whole Shadow Broker thing coming a mile away. Who knows? She may reappear as a temp. squadie in ME3. As for the Virmire survivor, I see them becoming the second human spectre following Shepard to add a little bit of dramatic effect. :)

They can do whatever they want to the VS except from killing them.

Except a short cameo, sloppy animations and bad dialogue options - oh, wait.

XD

So, anything but dead and/or a short cameo.

That's a fairly simple request.

Well i (As well as many others) will not stand for this... Bioware please (FOR THE LOVE OF GOD....) give Ash/Alenko the same treatment like you did with Liara in LotSB DLC. :police:

Kaiden was my bro. One of the biggest things they can do for this DLC is return the bro factor to our relationship in leu of a romance, since I be a manshep. It will not be enough to simply save his life, defeat his long time enemy or otherwise. Boy gets too much hate cause of Carth spillover, but he's actually pretty saucy and cool.

Liara (If you did LotSB), Kaiden, Garrus, Tali spilling drinks on the Citadel for fan service? YES PLEASE.

I stayed loyal to Ashley because she is a wonderful woman. So tough and strong on one side and emotional and sweet on the other.

It might give Bioware a reason to go Lazy.... I mean, LoTSB all but confirms that Liara wont be in your Squad by ME3. If they make a DLC for Ashley/Kaiden they might not give them a huge role in ME3 either.

blasssphemmmyyy. I'm still counting on the Shadow Broker base being blown up or something.

I can’t believe how many idiots are dumping on ashley for her beliefs it’s so hard to know their are so many stupid people on the internet nowadays IF any of you really paid attention to her in ME1 you would know about the history of her family and why she feels the way she does. Yes she gets used to working with aliens after ME1 but like she said its not like she’ll be friends with one and you can’t really call her a b!tch for that!! I think she was a great love interest in ME1.

So, a BSNer named Liverhawk PM'd me a few days ago to post this into the DLC thread. He made his own thread in the general forum, so I figured I'd respect his wishes (although I don't know why he doesn't register his game).

THESE ARE HIS IDEAS, NOT MINE:

I had a thought and i wanted to post it to see what kind of feedback this would get from the community, but i had an idea on a way to bring back either Ashley or Kaiden, in a better way than on the colony. Im not very good with conveying ideas, so pardon the numbered list.
1)Mission becomes available after the colony where you meet them.
2)Adm. Hackett contacts you and requests assistance dealing with a threat, say a tech cult(involving reapers/geth/collectors) or some other significant threat.
3)Mission start is on an Alliance Warship(Maybe the orizaba, so you could meet adm Shepard if Our cmd shepard is a spacer, otherwise a different ship commander)
4)Your escort from the ship is Ashley/Kaiden, or you meet them around the available sections on this ship.
5)Mission could be to infiltrate cult and determine what their plans are, fight them and whatnot.
6)Reunite with Ashley/Kaiden either as friends or to continue relationship.

Im hoping that this seems agreeable. I just want another dlc where you can reconnect with Ashley/Kaiden in the same manner as you do with Liara. *cough*bioware team consider this*cough* Hm that was a nasty cough just then.

Come on, Bioware! Forget the PS3 Mass Effect and start on the DLCs cause you stated that LotSB was your first bridge to ME3. So Quit being lazy and start cracking at it... :police:

Interesting ideas but not likely. Why would Admiral Hackett contact someone that is presumably working for Cerberus? Why would the Alliance allow Shepard onto their ship if they still think s/he's a Cerberus employee?

Hackett already contacted Shepard once to check out the Normandy crash site.

Why would the Alliance allow Shepard onto their ship if they still think s/he's a Cerberus employee?

I agree - that'd be unlikely.

I agree. To me, Liverhawk's ideas are not even one bit interesting. Sorry. :(
Oh, and the DLC support group is now at 516. I'm liking this steady growth. :police:

I think it's a fairly safe bet to say there'll be DLC for Wrex and the other two. Bioware has said before, they plan on releasing a steady flow of DLC that links ME2 with ME3. Obviously, a Krogan civil war is an easy guess at what Wrex's mission will be. Maybe help Ashley or Kaiden will result in a mission for the Alliance with rebels or some such thing.

Maybe one great big DLC that involves them. Maybe there is a Krogan uprising that the Alliance is going to take strong action against, and they send Kaiden or Ashley to reason with the strongest Krogan Clan, because they either know Wrex if he survived or because thet have worked with a Korgan before, and Anderson calls you in to help them settle the issue, which leads to a revelation about the Reapers that you all have to look into.

Maybe even have the Rachni Queen be a part of it. Have it maybe be about the Reapers are trying to indoctrinate The Krogan like they did the Rachni. Wrex or Wreav can say he's noticed an odd way of acting from the other clans. So you have to find out how they're being indoctrinated, and stop it, securing your alliance with The Krogan for ME3, and possibly firing up the Romance with Ashley or Kaiden.

Either way, I'm happy to be able to continously have a reason to keep playing this game, as if restarting as every class wasn't already good enough.

Liverhawk  asked me to post his ideas here, and there's no reason not to, so I respected his wishes.
(Although, he should've registered his game.  :S  Maybe next time that's what I will tell people.)

Personally, I think some of his ideas are along the same vein a lot of others have mentioned--include Admiral Hackett somehow (whether verbally and/or physically), have Ashley or Kaidan as a squaddie somewhere, and continue the relationship.

Is Hackett necessary?  I've changed my mind; before, I didn't think so.  But if BW can develop dialogue for Vasir, the SB, and Sekat for 5 seconds, then I think including Hackett would be viable.  But otherwise, I would rather have the dialogue team focus on different scripts for Kaidan and Ashley.

You're right, of course. But Hackett would be the cherry on top of the Ash&Kaidan cake. Posted Image
