1. Admiral Hackett must make a voiced appearance, on screen or no.

2. There should be a Hammerhead sequence with Ashley/Kaiden making obligitory comparisons to the Mako.
"Wow. Ten seconds and your driving hasn't made me throw up. I'm glad you replaced the Mako."
"I take it back! Who designed the armor on this thing?"

"Who designed the armor on this thing?"

"Cerberus, probably."

"Figures."

Lol, there has to be some banter like in LotSB, yes please!

550 members in the VS DLC group!

I was thinking as a way to reach more fans, we could have the group in a couple of different languages.

Not a bad idea Brody! If you can find some people who can write them out in those languages then that would be a HUGE benefit.

Depending on how much I'd have to translate and how much time I'd have to do it, Brody, I could help you out with the German translation.

Whoever suggested a mission related to Virmire - I think that's perfect. It would help bring in people who started with ME2, but also provide ME1 players with an incredibly poignant way to remember the team mate who isn't there with you, and to help explore some more emotional issues, just as LotSB did.

Revisiting Virmire would allow you to talk about the difficult decision you made there, and could act as a way in to the rift that's grown between Shep and Ash/Kaidan since working with Cerberus. Shep has an amazing attachment to Ash/Kaidan because of the events on Virmire, and going back would be a wonderful opportunity to try to re-establish some of those links.

For the mission itself, I'd love to see it range across different locations, with Virmire as the last location, perhaps. There was an interesting piece of information that was never followed up on in ME1 about Virmire: about the research student who was attacked by those pod crabs (or whatever they were), which was out of character because they are docile creatures. That always struck me as odd, and I always wondered whether there had been attempts at indoctrinating them, as a side project I guess while the geth were on Virmire. Something interesting might be able to come from following up on that.

Perhaps Ash/Kaidan had been following up on it, if they saw a recent report on the case, since they would obviously have a thing for Virmire and it would pique their interest. It's just in council space, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that they'd be able to wangle the assignment, and because of Shep's experience there with them in ME1, and due to the complexity of the case, they call on him/her for assistance, perhaps grudgingly at first.

If this isn't the premise for the DLC I'll weep :D

As stated in the original post, we all want Ashley and Kaidan to have distinct personalities.  It did make me wonder...

Do you think it necessary for any forthcoming VS content to acknowledge whether Shepard convinced Ashley to be more paragon or Kaidan to be more renegade in ME1?

Yeah I think so, and if not in ME3. But I just hope they dont make Ash out to not trust aliens in the dlc for us who convinced her to be paragon, Horizon was bad enough.

Im not bothered if they have continuation with the hardening of their characters. I'd rather they focus on making the experience different for the two. Actually, scrap that, i'd be grateful for anything.

Re: their hardening, that would depend on whether there was a flag in the save game for it or not, right? So unless they had planned from the get-go to recognise that sort of character development in subsequent games I doubt it'd be something we'll see.

From what I understand from modders, there are flags that signify that, but none were carried over from ME1 into ME2.  :(

I hope that Ash and Kaid are slightly different from ME1, at least to signify some character development, but not too different.

I would be willing to bet one of my paychecks that when we do get the next DLC it will be in January which I'd also be willing to bet comes out after the PS3 version's launch, to maximize it's exposure and marketability. Oh, and 565 members in the Kaidan and Ashley DLC Support Group. :P

They could add a dialogue cue like with the whole Anderson/Udina thing.

You know, we could spin this to a positive. After the PS3, there will be even more people demanding additional content for ME2. Hope you realize that Bioware. You may have opened pandora's box. :P

They do get an interactive comic which will work as a "replacement" for ME1 - maybe they can make the choice there.

But yes, the more supporters the better.

Do you think it will include the romances too? I know i can just play the first game but that sounds interesting...

I have no idea if Bioware will include a choice for Ash and Kaidan to be romance options in this interactive comic. I just read somewhere that the PS3 players will get it as an substitute for ME1.

But it would not be a good sign if they decided not to include that choice.
