I think if you kept it that you can give Ashley the coordinates of the base so they Alliance can keep TIM in check to make sure he's not prepping for a Cerberus powerplay. I'd imagine this would "force" the alliance and cerberus to play nice and IF they are still working together then it might come to light, but if not it'd sure ****** TIM off.

Yeah I like this, would definately be interesting. I agree with badpie. I want to see Ash and Kaidan doing something Badass esspecially so people can stop calling Kaidan wussy, but anyway. Overall just tired of seeing them being rescued by Shepard, seriously no more. Sure I must have mentioned it before in this same thread but please Bioware...

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but: you know how in LotSB, Liara got a little make-over and a new unique bad ass looking outfit? What if the VS DLC has something like that for Ash and Kaidan? That might be cool...

I dunno, I think if Ashley was reuinted with Colossus armor then I would have difficulty focussing on the battle...

But still, yes, I absolutely think Ashley/Kaiden should get their own armor unique to them. If Liara got one why can't they?

Two birds with one stone:  combine the VS with Alt. Appearance Pack 2.  You then spend the entire DLC going on a shopping spree and treating Kaidan/Ashley to a makeover.  At one point, they'll ask you if their new space jeans make them look fat, and you know what that means: INTERRUPT TIME!  The Paragon one is "No. Quite the opposite. In fact, that's my favorite ass on the Citadel."  For the Renegade interrupt, Shep says "Yes"....and then punches them in the face and leaves the store, but not before falsely reporting them for shoplifting.

For me, from what I'm getting from this it sounds like they are planning on one last, large DLC and then will focus all their attention on finishing up the 3 platform release of Mass Effect 3. Whether or not we are getting an "Awakening" sized expansion is yet to be seen. Can't wait to see what happens and I'm crossing my fingers for the Virmire Survivor to show up in it as well! Thoughts on the potential implications for our hopes of the DLC pack that 641 signed group supporters that this will have on?

how big is an awakening sized expansion mate ? and now i think about it, it kinda fits the situation were in atm with te reapers. the council need to awake get the irony there ?

Awakening-sized expansion means in the 15-20-hour range.

I honestly doubt we will get a full-scale expansion for ME2, though. It will probably just be episodic DLC releases, which if you combine together, you pretty much have an expansion. But I'm also not expecting more than a single piece of story-based DLC following LOTSB, and that's hopefully the VS DLC.

ah cheers pheonix. but i think its possible to be awakening sized then because they still have a lot of loose ends to solve, (like convince the council, get-quarian war,prepare for war krogan clans uniting, rachni help, rejoin alliance,cut ties with cerberus etc etc) and besides this could well be the last dlc we get for an entire year so whose to say it wont be huge lol

Actually, the folder LotSB creates on a PC HDD is called Something"Exp01". So you get the idea.

I'm kind of sad because I thought we would be getting two more DLCs instead of one; on the other hand, I'm pretty sure BioWare would want Mass Effect 2 to go out with a bang, so they might be focusing lots of time on this DLC.

Agreed. I was also expecting two more DLCs, but then I wasn't expecting ME3 quite so soon. (March 2012 was my guess..)

But hey, assume they've been working on this since LotSB. Assume it's going to include A/K. That's, what, 4 months work? So far? Probably at least one more on top of that? (Since we haven't had an official announcement yet). I don't see any way that this *won't* be awesome.
(Provided Bioware hasn't done anything stupid. Which they won't have.)
Also, isn't the fact that there will be a CDN build-up something of an indication that this DLC will be a big event?

Yes, it would be good to see the VS step out on their own for once, proving they can and will kick ass on their own without needing Shepherd to help them do it.

Maybe even have a playable VS section like Joker got in ME2.



Well, the Cerberus_Alliance situation could play out 1 of 2 ways if you told them to take a long walk into a black hole (like I did).



Depending on how you handle it, Cerberus could ask for your assistance, but there would be no trust, just mutual co-operation.

Or you could just outright refuse any further Cerberus involvement and go it on your own.

With the Shadow Broker's resources at your disposal and plenty of other races out there to lend a hand/get favors from (the Rachni have already signed the dotted line on my CrushKillDestroy the Reapers contract), they're not exactly necessary anymore.

LOL @close2myheart. i dunno when they will announce it but a lot of people say its gunna be released sometime soon after the p23 release, so bioware can make a bit more cash off it

Me too! And because I have re-read the original post there may be more than one new DLC leading up to ME3. I have a good feeling that the Virmire Survivor will see the light of day BEFORE Mass Effect 3 releases.
