Some of my Shepards would also like to say that to Cerberus.

I'm afraid that people will assume, from the name, that all we want is a whole DLC focused on Ashley and Kaidan. Although I certainly wouldn't mind that, I'm thinking this might discourage fans who want story-bridging DLC from contributing their support (even though we have almost 700 people already in the group....)
If you have any suggestions for a name change, what would you like?

Besides, Bioware doesn't need encouragement to put in new locations, etc. They do, apparently, need encouragement to address your only human squadmate from the first game.

Right with you there, Zeuss. New research as well. My sniper rifle is overdue for one.Lord Zeuss wrote...
I'm fine with the name as it is, frankly. Kaidan and Ashley are what I want back in any upcoming DLC, period. New locations, new enemies, and a tie-in with story heading into ME3 would be great, but if the next DLC omits Kaidan and Ashley yet again it's a failure in my book.

BioWare, if you're reading this, please feature Kaidan and Ashley in DLC!

Whoop!
Is it just me, or is the group growing faster and faster lately?
Anyway, I just finished replaying Overlord, and I'm planning to replay LotSB tomorrow. And in my opinion, these two DLCs are concrete proof that Bioware really DOES listen to its fans.
(SPOILERS for the two DLCs ahead)
Overlord: We asked for larger environments, sidequests that felt bigger. And a fair number of us missed the vehicle from ME1 - even though the Mako handled like a *****. What did we get? Just that, along with an opportunity to put down Cerberus *again*, which I'm sure all the Alliance fans out there appreciated. Sure, the Hammerhead still had armor thinner than gold leaf, but that only really became apparent against the Cerberus Machine Gun Turrets.
LotSB: Do I really need to praise this one? We asked for Shepard to be more human. A lot of people asked for Liara (I wasn't really among them - after all, they'd already gotten more than us K/A fans!). We asked for Spectres. What did we get? All of that, packaged in the best DLC to date. And an exceptionally personal mission for Shepard, when you think about it.
Oh yeah, and we asked for more ME1 choice references. To which Bioware replied with my favourite Shepard line so far: "I sacrificed hundreds of Human Lives to save the Destiny Ascension. I unleashed the Rachni on the Galaxy. So for your sake, I hope your escape plan doesn't rely on me being afraid to shoot one single hostage!"
(SPOILERS gone)
Why am I sharing this? Because right now, the most asked for DLC is this one. Our DLC. Kaiden/Ashley's DLC. And since Bioware really does listen to us, I think we have every reason to be hopeful.
Hope I've managed to raise people's hopes with that! (And apologies if it got a little off-topic)

*snip*
I'm pretty much in the same boat as Zeuss here. Coz even if the upcoming story DLC is Alliance related but does not have K/A in it (Ye God, pls don't let that happen
Yes, my Shep misses the VS that bad (No 'paramour' achievement in ME2
711 members!!

Ditto! I'm actually excited to see what they come up with. Bioware is known for its fan service after all.

Hope it's a DLC announcement, but don't feel particularly nervous. Bioware's definition of "big project" and mine don't always line up so I refuse to get hyped beforehand. That being said, I'll be bouncing up and down in my chair if we learn it is a story-driven DLC about Ashley and Kaidan.:innocent:

I'm looking forward to this announcement as well. But I know I'll be severely disappointed if I find out it isn't an Ash/Kai DLC :/
I wish I had some of your guys's optimism. I know I'm being a party-pooper, but I expect that this announcement will either be about:
1) ME3 (rather early....but they did say it was coming this year, so it's possible BioWare is starting the hype early)
2) The Illusive Man comics (the first comic's arrival is imminent)
3) ME2 for the PS3 (only a few more days until it's release, they're probably getting ready for the hype)
In my opinion, I highly doubt that they would be revealing the newest ME2 DLC. BioWare wants to maximize the profits from the ME universe, so why place all your products in the first part of 2011? If they announce DLC now, and it comes out in April, that's another several months before ME3 is revealed.
Of course, if this big project is DLC featuring Ashley and Kaidan, then I will happily eat my words and dance around like a maniac.
