Ok, so I've played a Paladin, Monk, Druid(werewolf), through the game in my times, maybe another that I can remember or two.

I've gotten a quarter way through with such stuff as a broken fighter 5 points to mage powerhouse, but that is just way to powerful for my taste.

I am leaning towards a Ranger/Cleric Half-Elf but not sure if that is a decent way to go dual weilding.  I may lean more towards if possible a Barbarian to Cleric Human that might be cool as well.

class restrictions most be either Elf, Human, or Half-elf for my portrait I've chosen to use.

Anyone got any advice on the total benefit of the Ranger/Cleric?

It's certainly powerful and serves those who wish to be semi-druid without having a giant experience gap, but it limits the weapons you can use, not that it's a huge problem, merely a preference. You'll breeze past most of the game, if I'm honest, getting the benefits of all cleric and druid spells as well as improved melee prowess.

Thanks Chebby, wasn't sure if I was on the thinking properly when I made her, she will work then.
