I am just wondering if anybody has ever gone down the 2nd line of the warrior and tree and grabed perfect striking?  I really think the only enemy you REALLY need to use it against are Bosses who have high defense....and only 1 comes to mind which is Loghain other then that as a warrior your hit rate at that point in the game should be sufficient and perfect striking would be redundant aye?

How can you not? At max level, Warriors are starved for talents. I'm level 27 and I have all two-handed talents, all warrior talents, two maxed specializations, and 3/4 in my third specialization. I'll be halfway done with a second weapon by the time I hit 35.

Then again with my 2h war I doubt I will ever need it. With every point spent in strength, let's just say my attack is high enough. I certainly also have enough other abilities to spam.

Don't see the point in wasting stam on this.

Can take it because there's nothing else, but it's pretty bad.

Precise Striking rocks, Perfect Striking sucks balls.

imo Perfect Striking should have been guaranteed crits, not hits.

That's 39 talent points at level 27. Shouldn't be possible. o.O

Well I have read that the Manual of Focus is bugged for imported characters. Not sure if this is true but would explain it.

What I read was that it gives you an extra skill and talent.

I'm very concerned about this actually. I want to respec in Awakening, but I don't want to do it if it is bugged (even in my favor).

I only use perfect striking when I use precise striking but I still miss, It would be better if critical hit were there though.

Ya I agree high defense bosses....I can only think of Loghain.  And the only class that has semi trouble with him would be a warrior.  Every other class that is REMOTELY specced correctly will annhilate him.  BTW im talking about a warrior who is NOT a Reaver(chain fear) and does NOT spam potions.  I could beat him naked like that.

If we had PvP it would be the Rogue/Tank killer. Since most monsters have a fairly low defense it is more a luxury then must have.

I usually have my warriors pick it up if they have the talents to spare, though its low priority. My tank is usually more concerned with conserving stamina, though someone like Sten, if built up for offense, would use it since one can never have too much attack/damage.

Indeed. But Perfect Striking is a top tier skill and therefore you usually won't have it early in the game when you actually need it. Later on you should have enough attack rating to hit Revenants.

So I do consider Perfect Striking to be somewhat redundant. Precise Striking is a different story!

Depends on the difficulty. On hard, level 18,i still miss often enough when fighting against revenants. My attack rating is near 120.

I suppose it's a little better on higher difficulties. I am probably also a little spoiled because I usually run Rally, Song of Courage and Heroic Offense.

It can slow you down that least little bit when you go over the haste cap.

That's Precise Striking, not Perfect Striking :)
