Correction, lots of people of all sexualities are not satisfied with it. But, this isn''t the Mass Effect Board so really I probably shouldn't have even made the original post as it has nothing to do with Dragon Age 2.Schuback wrote...

You can assume your male Shepard is gay by just not romancing anyone.

I know! The bards will sing of it. Perhaps one day when Hawke has cried enough, he'll materialize in the real world and bring like a million copies of himself.

I just say this and than duck for cover!
But there was also an emphasis of "camerady/companienship" between the Spartan fighters. So in that case, he might/could be gay.

I dont know..So far, though debatable, the things shown to us about Hawke seem to point that at least Garret is straight. With the pirate lady and all.
I wouldn't put much stock into CGI

Honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath. While I would like confirmation as well, if I remember correctly they never confirmed or denied same-sex relationships in DA:O until either right before or right after the game was released. I'd assume it will be the same for this. I mean, honestly, aside from Varric and Bethany, we don't know of any other companions so anything about romance partners is premature. And there's nothing worse than a premature romance partner.Just_mike wrote...

For a more cynical answer, just do what I do: Assume there won't be any same-sex relationships and then be pleasantly surprised if there are. It beats being disappointed all the time.

Hey now, be fair. People are going to complain about it whether there are or aren't.Dave of Canada wrote...
I'm doubting you'll get a Bioware reply. Considering how the question would be confirming some things they've yet to reveal, it'll cause more outrage regardless of what they say. If they say that Hawke could be homosexual, they'd be confirming a gay romance while if they said no then you'd have people calling Bioware monsters and satanists.

Are really women?
But, back to the main, as was described before, the Warden was a '1st Person Narrative', vesus to Commander Shepard being a 'Third Person Narrative'.
Time will only tell whether this holds true for further installments or to whether it was a blatant scapegoat like the prior.
That or a direct response, but they need not respond to most anything directly, for they can easily forecast the revenue they will garner with this game. I this say because there is a more open enviroment with devs who aren't as confident in their abilities.

No they play coy regarding the whole romance topic, and even more so regarding m/m options.Just_mike wrote...

Also any romantic content is highly optional, and can get cut if it causes bugs and/or other problems. So unless the game is next to finished or the romance is with a major plot important NPC (ala Morrigan in DA:O) we wont get any confirmation either way, because if they say yes and then have to remove the NPC or his romance for some reason it would be a PR disaster.
