I remember similar posts by Mr. Gaider from the time before the DA:O release. Even after the ESBR spoiled the existence of same-sex romances, every Bioware employee was very elusive whether this meant f/f; m/m or both. I think that the only source revealing the existence of a full m/m romance was a Russian blogger. Right now they are covering their bases, becausefilaminstrel wrote...

Where was this? I actually do believe you, but would like to see it myself if you happen to remember where.filaminstrel wrote...
BioWare employees (or an employee) have (has) made arguments defending a hypothetical lack of homosexual romance options, but there has been no confirmation either way.
My statement may have been reading between the lines a bit.
a.) Optional content like a romance are not finished enough to be sure that they will be included.
b.) They like to torture us.

However there is this quote from the FAQ.
"You will be able to engage in romances with certain NPCs in your party and throughout the world."
"Throughout the world" there's got to be one or two men who like men willing to jump Hawke's bones.

Hmm, well this brings of the question; what is happiness, really? Is it merely the contrast of sorrow? Without sorrow, would it even exist? If so, how would we know it?
How can Hawke truely be happy, be gay and all, without also being saddened or agrieved?

No, he's just British.
Quite right. He once had a picnic in the middle of a darkspawn invasion. Very, very British.

Heteroflexible is a good word for the character.

OF COURSE NOT. THE WARPAINT ON YOUR ICON'S FACE DOES A MARVELOUS JOB OF SHOUTING FOR YOU, COMRADE.

The beer helps, though.

David Gaider confirmed man-eating tigers, not man-eating bears.

Great another ****** thread, why would you wanna be gay in a video game? Does being gay even mean anything a video game?
Some women like to play gay men. Why would they want to do that? Hell if I know.

Probably the same thing as being straight in a video game...and I guess that's the point.

Same reason men like lesbians.
And besides, I don't think it's that big of a deal to have the option in-game. Some people want their Hawkes to be gay. Why? Does it matter? I imagine mostly for RP purposes, and how people imagine their individual Hawkes to be.

With who? Zevran? Zevran was a horndog who conditioned to go after anything that moved. Warden included, for survival purposes and otherwise. It's hardly forced down your throat.
But! You're being, or trying to be, civil, and so I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm attacking you.
