Did you see how she takes out the shields of Hock's gunship?
At this point I always ask myself, why she needs Shepards help at all ... someone doing such a stunt for sure doesn't need any help to get rid of a few hired guns.
she defied physics in that scene. it was a little rediculouse, but not nessesarily bad.

Hock is voice acted by the same guy who does Engineer Donnelly, John Ullyatt . I thought he was going for more of an Irish thug. IMDB says he was born and raised in Canada so I doubt either accent is authentic.
Anyway...
Kasumi is for the people who don't recruit Tali and sell Legion to Cerberus..

I think he's the same guy who is doing Ken Donelly. (about 60% sure about this)Frstmrne wrote...

Edit: Those grenades also disable stronger enemies for a short time. Harbinger doesn't like Kasumi.

Speaking of Hock/Donnelly, something interesting i found on a second playthrough of my infiltrator: Both Gabby and Kenneth served on the SS Perugia,
and the password for Hock's vault is Perugia. just a bit of an
aside/mention of another bit of foreshadowing by the BW guys.

Her grenades kill a lot of husks. If there are husks to be killed I'll bring her along just for that. Even in the final game.

do you mean the maxed out flash, or the frag for the final level for her grenades? I've honestly never really used her.

Don't think so. The IMDB lists John Ullyatt as the voice of Donelly and Hock. Then there's this thread which lists Stelio Savante as the voice of Hock. And if you go to his IMDB page, you'll see he is listed as a voice actor specifically for the Kasumi DLC and that he's South African. IMDB is known to be wrong, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's listed incorrectly for either voice actor.JackhammerGR wrote...

Hock's voice might be exaggerated, but it is definitely South African.

Kasumi is one of my favorite party members. She's space ninja personified and she cuts down enemy mobs like a hot knife through butter.
Can't argue with this.

Doesn't even need to be maxed out. lvl 1 flash vs Harbinger = neutered collector on insanity. He will still advance on you (slowly) and fire his weapon. But he wont fling biotics at you for what seems like a very long time. Long enough to kill the rest of the collectors and then concentrate on him. Effective on Husks also. Give her a try against collectors, she rocks!

The frag grenade (the first level 4 option) already has a radius of 7 meters (and a damage of 120) and the improved flashbang (the other level 4 option) has a range of 9 meters (and a damage of 75). They both cover a lot of ground. They cause an instant kill for a group of husks, much like overload instantly kills flamethrower enemies. Although the damage is marginal compared to other powers, the targets are incapacitated for a couple of seconds. That includes biotic and tech powers. Weapons won't function. They do damage to both synthetic and organic enemies. What overload can do for shields, flashbangs can do for armor. After the hit enemies will get out of cover. Although it doesn't do much damage, it's other properties make it great.MuteSpeech wrote...

Edit: If it kills something Kasumi often comments "Did I do that?" or she just laughs.

Aside from having another character to play with who contributes anecdotes, a room with a bar, the Kassa Locust, Flash Grenade and infiltrate, there is the 'greybox' which may become a point of introduction for the Virmire survivor to rejoin the Normandy in an upcoming DLC
huh? Where'd you get this info from if I may ask?

We know the greybox contains information damaging to the Alliance. Should the Alliance be exposed the loyality of the Virmire survivor toward the Alliance may come into question enough for the VS to rejoin Shepard in an effort to 'correct' the Alliance and possibly be a bridging DLC.
( just a speculation )
