I don't think they'd make one DLC a prerequisite for another, at least for a DLC that seems rather important like a VS one.

Well BW did provide the greybox in a DLC suggesting potentially harming evidence to the Alliance and BW is presumably in the process of bridging the gap between 2 and 3 so why not ?

I like Kasumi its just sad that she has some monologue and you can't chat with her she certainly would have some interesting stories from her "job"

Aside from having another character to play with who contributes anecdotes, a room with a bar, the Kassa Locust, Flash Grenade and infiltrate, there is the 'greybox' which may become a point of introduction for the Virmire survivor to rejoin the Normandy in an upcoming DLC

huh? Where'd you get this info from if I may ask?

We know the greybox contains information damaging to the Alliance. Should the Alliance be exposed the loyality of the Virmire survivor toward the Alliance may come into question enough for the VS to rejoin Shepard in an effort to 'correct' the Alliance and possibly be a bridging DLC.
( just a speculation )

Ahh, ok.
Iuno, personally I'm apathetic to the survivor. Sure it's a nice throwback to continuity, but that aside I don't see much a need to have them in the game. In either case they're working on a secret project with the Alliance and are avidly against Cerberus. Even if you romanced them (which for my femShep isn't an option as I had Ashley survive) they still express a disliking for your working with Cerberus, though they are worried about you all the same. I say wait til ME3 and see how they react to you and whether you were faithful or not.

I also like her Shadow Strike power. It does lots of damage and works against any type of protection. If she fails to kill the target will be incapacitated for a short while. It's handy to bring her in to finish off a target so you can concentrate on the next one.

BTW: I don't like her one way conversation. She is cheaper to produce that way than with full dialogue. But that shouldn't be our problem. If the game supports full voice acting then I expect that everywhere - DLCs included. The monologues become very dull soon. I hope stuff like this doesn't make it in ME3. It feels crippled.
