I just find it hilarious that when we meet Morinth the sex vampire she's showing no cleavage whatsoever but Samara the solemn warrior monk has her boobs hanging out.

But Morinth would benefit from her victims looking her in the eyes while embracing eternity, just imagine her trying to screw Carsek over while wearing her mother's outfit: wouldn't work.

Lol. People always bring up Carsek to me. But he would be a dead man against Morinth, boobs covered or otherwise.

I think Morinth would be heavy into boob bait. I think she would use whatever she had. I bet she'd teach her boobs to play Expel 10 while she's seducing someone, or train them to hold her victims in place while she feeds. I bet they have fangs. That's why she covers them.

I am getting weird images of Blade 3's vampire woman... the one that "bit" the kool dude... although "biting" is... technically wrong for her... since her fangs are.... in both mouths...

god that gives me shivers.

Wait, they made a third movie?  I only remember the first, Blade 2 and the series.

For this topic, i remember a movie once that had a similar issue "Medicine Man"

Think of Samara as an indigenious woman...To we humans, it might be sexy or ****y. To them it is just a part of life, an entire species in which all members are female, "bewbs" would probably not bat an eye.

Asari might wear different outfits depending on their role in the galaxy (diplomats and mercenaries would wear more modest outfits to better fit in with other species; Matriachs, the ones who govern planets in asari space, because they do not always have to go out of Asari Space, less so).

Samara is a justicar (a position that generally stays in Asari Space, therefore does not need modesty), she wears what is comfortable to her and damn be the one that tells her differently.

Careful ---

Complain too much and you'll make the Normandy end up being a big space-faring sausage party with an all male ship with uniformed armor.

Logic Boosh! You make perfect sense.

Besides when you take Liara to Chora's Den in ME1 she explains about Asari being so secure in their sexuality its why its nothing for them to become dancers/strippers in their maiden years. But Liara sees it as they are being taken advantage of since they are so young.

I don't believe I have read all 11 pages of this topic, but I can't believe nobody has posted that thing with Ugly Shepard and Samara's memorizing cleavage.

Yeah, Blade Trinity, movie 3. I liked the second one better because of those freakish vampires with their jaws that open up.

And I seriously thought what's-his-face was just joking when he talked about the location of her... erm... fangs.

I don't find any issue character-wise. It's just that it looks friggin' ridiculous. It looks really, really stupid in video games when the women are wearing revealing outfits in combat, because it makes them looks like incompetent morons who don't know proper battle attire. See also: Morrigan's scarf-thing, Miranda's catsuit, Thane's waistcoat. Though stylish, these things look out of place during battle. I'd prefer it if everyone had their own personalized armor, like Garrus and Zaeed. Jack gets a pass because she's somewhat reckless/insane and the tatoos are vital to her character. Others don't quite cut it.

Maybe I'd notice it less if ME1 hadn't already established a pattern of pretty reasonable wardrobes. With the exception of Benezia's super heavers, outfits were pretty tasteful. I saw some ridiculous dresses, but only on NPCs and mostly just in places like Chora's Den or other such environments.

Morinth can't hypnotize you if you're staring directly at her breasts.

Furthermore, some men find modesty sexy.

Samara is basically a super hero. She's got super powers, and a sexy costume, even if the story does not call for her to be especially provocative.

If she was a DC or Marvel character, this would not be an issue.

BUT, the ME universe had not already established that other people with similar powers DO wear armor.

So that makes her stand out...

I was actually trying to make a sarcastic reference to there being no Blade 3 movie especially since the series came out after the Trinity was put on dvd.  Some people have the gift to make sarcasm appear in text.  I don't have it unfortunately. :(

hehehehe. true sry dude.

And nightwriter.... I think he wasn't joking.... the kool dude, usually is sarcastic when he tells the truth, and is serious when he is lying :P.

besides, when She was strangling him in the stairs she grabs him and says "we are going to be together, and I am going to bite you just like before"...... and since I never saw the "fang" marks on his neck, I think he found out her other pair of fangs...

either way... god that gives me shivers.

Yeah, one of my pet peeves in the game is the superhero look of several of the characters.  Samara stands out most, but the same could be said of Jacob, Thane, Miranda, Kasumi...

BUT, the ME universe had not already established that other people with similar powers DO wear armor.

Exactly!

Every Eclipse merc, every asari commando, every krogan battlemaster wears armor.

Kaiden and Wrex did not go charging into combat shirtless (Which in Wrex's case at least we can all the thankful)
Wrex in fact, can wear heavy armor

Nowhere does it say that asari keep their biotic amps in their upper chest.  Liara in fact wore human armor

This thread is still going? Geez, they're just boobs. Let's keep things in perspective. You'd think they punctured Tali's enviro-suit or something.

With Samara, that is all too easy.

Keeping her in perspective, I mean. See, because she has large bosoms; and I made a quip referring to this fact by deriving an alternative interpretation from that comment by removing these specific sentences from the context wherein they were meant to be applied.

Internet humour is easy!
