I mean, all they have to do is to put the dlc on the servers, and allow the servers to sell the dlc, puting the dlc on the servers should have been done 2 days ago(just in case of),and allowing it to be "available" should'nt take 10 hours(i mean,it's pretting much switching on one button).
Now I understand that there can be some issue with the xbox live and psn, because this is not bioware servers, and i understand the idea of not allowing pc users to download it before anyone else, but honestly?it's just one dlc omfg,it's not like if it was dragon age 2 launch day,we are talking about a 2/3 hours gameplay here, who cares to the point that he is not going to buy it if it comes a few hours earlier on one plateform?
If it's a legal issue and due to a contract made with microsoft or sony, then state it,at least we will any idea why the wait is so long.

I must admit thoses delays are kinda lame,it's not like they have tons of things going on at Bioware,I mean I know they are working on Dragon age 2 an mass effect 3,but puting dlc online should'nt have any delay of any sort.

What would this type of expectation management cause? Happiness in excess...? Whoever complained about that? And what if.... something went wrong with release? 24 hours grace period to repair. Whoever complained about that?
Now the practice is over promise and under perform and the margin for error between is mighty thin. That might work in the local neighbourhood but it is not a good practice globally.
The DLC will be released one day late in Austrailia. But Ozzies (and Canadians, remember) are not important to Bioware/EA.

Killed the Archdemon again while waiting; have finished five playthroughs now, hooray! Only one origin to go now. Finally got the last romance achievement I was missing, too. Since I'm in Australia, it will be some ungodly hour of the morning when it's released here; I plan to start it downloading and then go to bed so it's ready when I wake up.

So what day is the Witch Hunt released in Australia? 7 September?
