I'm finding it harder and harder to care about any Origins content, especially now that this is it, and all I've seen of DA2 is utterly laughable (and that everyone seems so gung ho over it utterly baffles me). So, thanks for a great ride, I guess, but I'll go back to not giving two shakes about video games now.

A friend of mine informed me of sources from Bioware stating that there would be two years worth of DLC. If they are finished with "Origins" content, then perhaps they are releasing DLC for the other year that pertains either to Awakening or perhaps a second expansion before the second game of Dragon Age comes out. As much hope as I have lost for patches, I am sure Bioware will not back down on their word for this, granted my friend is right.

What happened to "2 years..."? Dragon Age 2.
So, EA is pressuring their in-house studio to abandon it's old habit of providing their loyal fans with several years of continuing support because they think it'll maximize profit? We stand at patch 1.04 and NWN1 ran all the way up through patch 1.69 and included new weapons, items, monsters, etc. This is more than a little disappointing.

Preferably removing save copy protection and/or character limit on PS3. Otherwise this last DLC is kind of unplayable to me...Calin Pandurescu wrote...
Chris Priestly can you confirm that BioWare is working on a new patch?

Your friend isn't.

We have no plans for another expansion. The Witch Hunt DLC is the last new Dragon Age: Origins content.

Nay this story and one of the best, perhaps the best character in this franchise goes is concluded in a DLC, which if past DLCs are to go by will be a 90 minute piece with very little substance. BOOO.
Would Pixar conclude the story of Buzz and Woody with a 5 minute short? Er, no.

Though I keep thinking (Or hope to see) for a comedic reference of the witch scene from the Holy Grail by Monty Python, no matter how small.

Its a good point.
I'm grateful to get some closure rather than nothing at all, but everything else surrounding Morrigan feels like it should have been part of a full expansion with the other Origins companions showing up to tie off their plots rather than the totally disconnected expack we got in Awakening.

I'm also fine with it being the last Dragon Age: Origins DLC. I'm sure given DA2, Star Wars: TOR, and Mass Effect 3, resources are spread thin as it is.
However, I do have a question I think needs to be clarified, and is important for players who are expecting Warden/Morrigan involvement in future SEQUELS. And I need a dev to answer this, be it Chris, David, Mike, or anyone else on the DA team, as I want official word, rather than speculation. My question is this:
Is "Witch Hunt" the ABSOLUTE LAST we'll see of the Warden, or will the Warden appear in a sequel, such as DA3 or another?
I really just want to know so I can continue hoping for a Warden return in future DA titles or if I have to be content knowing for sure that the Warden's story really ENDED with the only full game the Warden appeared in, DAO...

That Bioware completely ignores my comment about the patch support really says it all. Do i even bother ask again?
"Will we get another patch before DA2?"
Doubt they would put the effort into patching a game they are pretty much finished with.
