As I asked in my last post, is this the last we'll hear about the Warden?

Some want to know that our Warden will have a presence in future sequels. Others are uncomfortable with Morrigan being a romance option for Hawke or future player characters as they want her to be with the Warden (myself included)

Gaider, thank you for reassuring us that Morrigan will not be jipped in any fashion, but PLEASE... tell us if "Witch Hunt" is the LAST adventure we'll ever play as the Warden... please, we need to know, and we beg you for confirmation of future sequel Warden appearance or no!

We request for an answer, Mr. Gaider.

I'm just curious, what makes DAO...........DAO for you? When people say they want more of DA1, are they saying the game system before DA2 changed it. Or are they saying DA1 = playing the Warden?

Yeah I used an example; I have no doubt the story will be great if Gaider is behind it. But that's beside the point. Shocking plot twists would probably even facilitate creating one canon fate for Morrigan in which your DA:O decision has no effect on DA2.

Hiring a VA of Claudia Black's quality (and possibly expense) for a DA:O DLC at the same time as DA2 is in production?, I smell an appearance in the sequel!

Damn!!! I can't wait for this DLC, and in almost 2 weeks! I romanced her, I went for the ritual with her, I fought for her against Flemeth I just hope I don't have to fight her, I hated how things ended with Maric and Katriel, I hope this is a good DLC for someone who actually liked the relationship between Morrigan and the warden. I hope it was worth it that I carry her ring from the moment she gave it to me to the very end of awakening. This is going to be very very interesting. I hope that if it gives a conclusion to the plot line be a satisfactory one then the warden will be more than willing to go to for the calling.

I've just checked my main level 32 character who romanced Morrigan and did the DR - by the end of GoA (after Awakening) he's still wearing her ring! I wonder if it'll come up in dialogue...

I have to say that it is time to move on from the Warden. I really really enjoyed DAO and I am very eager for the new DLC and especially DA2. However, based on the interviews out there for DA2, Bioware is more interested in building a game around their new world than a game around the Warden.



Origins was the first chapter. One I liked and would love to see more DLC for in the future. DA2 is the next chapter, the stories overlap (transition), but they are two independent accounts of this time and this world. Go to town Bioware! What can Hawke do for me?



Please, lets not limit ourselves. I would enjoy it if Bioware produced games, telling stories from every corner of DA. I would like to see my Warden's actions referenced or influence these other areas (as they surely would) and I would like to come across some old friends (companions), but this time as a different character in their lives.

Unless of course they' just had CLaudia Black record the lines way back when they had her around for ME2 or DAO? But, I'd love to hear Claudia Black's voice in DA2...

No, but I'd hope BioWare had the sense to think it would be blasphemy to have a Morrigan DLC and no Claudia Black voicing her. Still, confirmation would be nice....

i would think it is obvious that after tis DLC there will be no more warden (sadly enough)
This DLC is not only Morrigans but in away also a goodbye to the warden

who said  Morrigan would be romancable in DA2 i do not expect her to be 
at best she can become a party member and worst case scenario is that she wont be in DA2  at all
but i expect her to show up at some point during DA2 but not as a LI

My female mage Warden romanced Morrigan and has her ring but then ran off w/ Leliana.  I wonder how that one will turn out. 

Tis sad this is the end, but all things considered I am very much looking forward to the Witch Hunt.  Thanks!

Dude......you can see the obvious difference between DAO and DA2........

But the Warden is part of it.

While I was disappointed that DA2 wouldn't be a continuing story of the warden and his/her companions (very disappointed), that's really not what puts me off about DA2. I fully expect the story to be interesting and the characters engaging, although I'm not sure they can be as engaing as the ones in DA:0. Those were some powerful archetypes. I'm prepared to like Hawke and find her ( ) story interesting. But the changes to gameplay are something entirely different, and much more important. It doesn't help that I find the new art style truely horrendous, but that, too, pales beside the gameplay issues.

Since Flemmeth will appear in DA2 and her existence depends on Morrigan, I guess Morrigan has a lot to do in DA2

You wait months for a certain DLC announcement then two come along at once! Awesome news, look forward to seeing the various resolutions available. Personally I quite like that the Warden meets new people to adventure with on his travels, it makes me think of Duncan in the Origins travelling around confident in his own power and meeting new folks to recruit.



That said there are obviously certain characters who it would make sense to see, so it sucks in that regard.
