Sadly, I have same problem...If the situation will get really bad, I'll have to delete Origins saves and leave only Awakening ones (since they're a direct continuation).

But you can't use Awakening files to play Origins content... including the DLC I thought?

My launch ps3 is on its last legs. I absolutely must backup the many hours of playtime I put into my main warden but as of now there is no way to restore them to a new ps3... (not even using data transfer)... which must must must be changed Bioware!!!

You (Bioware staff in general, I mean) are the first who provoke but you really don't confirm anything. Come on! Can you not say in a clear way if the story is over or not? Don't you know?



I don't really care, but this is exactly why you have these problems. If you knew that there will not be 2 years of contens, tell it and not exactly when you announce a DLC to boycott yourself.



Sometimes you are not clear and sometimes you just enjoy ignoring people questions. And there no reason why you can not answer "I'm sorry we can not inform you about that yet".



You don't want people ask, don't want people complain, don't want people demand.... Well, I don't like you don't answer, you don't inform, you just ignore some things.



This thread is a proof you have a marketing problem... Most of the DA2 post show it... Maybe it's true that we are gonna complain whatever you do but this is a problem you should face and maybe you should think again how to do it.



If you should say months ago that there will be just 3 or 4 DLC more, now you have just happy Morrigan loverr' post... Even more if the last DLC would be Golems' one and not this...



By the way... Are one of you answer to some of us if character from Golems' DLC can be import?

A few points: Developers and community managers are in a very tough spot. People clamor for info and the writers, developers, community guys really want to be able to give out selected stuff. They do not want to have a cone of silence over the project and watch as fans get all grumpy due to lack of info. Especially a group like BioWare that has for the most part been very accessible to the community over the years. They like interacting with fans.



The problem comes when they give out some nugget that ends up getting yanked in the development process. Then they are accused of being misleading, breaking promises and lieing. It has happened on more than one BioWare game in the past. So, they either say nothing at all or try and provide enough info that can be looked forward to without making iron clad promises.



In many cases they just don't know. In the example above the poster wants to know 100% for sure if the wardens story is over for sure. No matter if they say yes or no they will disappoint people and they may in fact be wrong. Two years from now the higher ups in BioWare or EA might suddenly say 'I think we should do another game to do with the original DA'.



Also during the game development itself the project is malleable right up until the end. Things change, parts of the story get cut, companions get cut.



Plans, game wise, sequel wise and DLC wise change so in many cases it is better for them to keep it zipped or just hint than to get nailed by people calling them liars.



Now, I'm not absolving BioWare or other game companies of any blame at all. They have talked about things and failed to deliver of that there is no doubt.

Everybody is just checking if you're going to kill their wardens. Can't fool me, I know you'll kill our wardens one way or another. 
That's why it's the last DLC, right? At the very least I want my Warden to die in Morrigan's hands, head on her knees...



Also, we keep coming back to check if you're going to unlock the bloody saves on PS3... Just count how many origins you have in DAO, how many pieces of standalone DLC and what's the character limit. Preposterous:pinched:

See? Perfect example. My first reaction is *squee*! My second reaction is...well if this is our last GW adventure, but not Morrigan's last, then...that pretty much guarantees a bad/sad ending, right? Either the Warden dies or Morrigan leaves him again. I suppose, given the choice, I'd take the first, but either way the optimal ending is off the table.

Still...she could just show up and wave and leave and it'd be worth the $7.

I must echo the others, though...my Warden hasn't taken the ring off (aside from when they stole his gear in Awakening), and I really really hope there's mention of it. When I surrendered to Ser Cauthrien in DAO, and Morrigan's like "Uh, I know where they are. There's this ring..." I thought that was just about the greatest thing ever. That would have been such an easy thing to overlook, and yet, you didn't.
