Let's pretend that this DLC is the worst thing since unsliced bread in terms of gameplay, if the Morrigan "wrap-up" is relatively well done then I'll bow before you.
Do you seriously expect this to be a good, conclusive and satisfying conclusion to Origins?
REALLY.

I have low expectations. I've yet to be disappointed by any DLC except for Return to Ostagar, while I rather enjoyed Golems of Agrablahblahblah and Warden's Keep.

The first thing I said after I beat DAO was, "I'll find you Morrigan. I'LL FIND YOU! I SWEAR, I PROMISE, I'LL FIND YOU!"
So this is HUGE for me. Morrigan's romance was heart-wrenching. Now maybe I can get some answers.
What happened to our child? What happened to US? The ring you gave me? Your exodus? Etc etc etc
same thing for me. I just sat there and yelled at my PC. My roomies thought i was having a break down cuz i dont freak out at all.
If this DLC ends up having her Dump my ass again i am going to be pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do wonder what will happen to the Origins Epilogue/Awakening Epilogue bug and if this will be of any importance for this dlc. I sure hope not, otherwise i'll have to replay the whole of Origins once againbluewolv1970 wrote...
will the awakenings morrigan ending
bug affect her reaction to you in witch hunt - since if you get the
ring ending in origins you do not get the awkaenings - I am looking
for her ending - so I guess my question is, is the only way to have the
correct dialoge in with hunt (that you rmanced her) to NOT get the ring
ending in originsCarlSpackler wrote...
How about the bugs or lets say
unclear quirks regarding Morrigan. For example the switch from love to
friendly at the end of Origins after speaking with her which does
produce the slide. By the same token though, it removes the slide from
the end of Awakening? Is there some sort of flag system which will be
corrected or taken into account for the DLC?
Has anyone answered this?
I really don't want this question(s) to get lost in the shuffle because it appears it hasn't been answered yet. Does anyone know yet, or are we just going to have to be surprised and find out for ourselves?

I assumed that you would go from love to friendly because she is leaving... and that has nothing to do with what will be imported to Witch Hunt. As far as Awakening goes... well... Morrigan isn't in Awakening, and from what I hear they only mention her a little, and that is if you are going to go look for her... But maybe if you have other plans as well, Awakening only mentions the other plans. I really don't know, I haven't experienced this problem. But I don't think just because there is a lack of slide, that it's going to be a problem...

I bet my entire left leg this was originally an expack.
Oh yeah...? I'll see your left leg then raise you a left leg...er...we're gonna have to settle up at a cloning facility.
Actually, it does seem rather fishy. I am now wondering about this too. It's kind of like how Throne of Bhaal was supposed to be a sequel to fill out the trilogy but Bioware was moving on to develope NWN and the Infinity Engine was "getting old" so it ended up as an expansion instead. For something to be a conclusion to the story of Origins...and to be DLC is kind of wierd. It's like bringing out bottle rockets for the finale of a New Years fireworks show. It may be good but, it may fit but how much of a bang can they fit in this small package? We'll see...

I enjoyed both Warden's Keep and the Stone Prisoner. RtO was deeply disappointing because it could, and should have been really moving. It had a couple of good moments, but was mostly a wasted opportunity.Dave of Canada wrote...

I, too, have great difficulty believing that this was really how they initially planned to revisit Morrigan.

Mine grow back.
Don't yours?
I also haven't purchased Golems or Angramahblah... or Leliana's Song... or DS Chronicles. I might buy Golems if I have any points left after Witch Hunt.

In releasing Origins and seeing how well the DLC was doing, they decided to continue releasing DLC, and because of all the potential that it has, they said the plan was 2 years worth.
They were also working on Awakening, as an expansion... but that somehow got finished very quickly and was released only months after the original release.
Then they start throwing ideas around for Dragon Age 2, but doing DLC in the mean time, according to plan, but then Dragon Age 2 explodes, and they are wanting to move that closer and closer because of how great it is...
Then they decide, or maybe Witch Hunt was always the end, but just moved closer then the 2 year expanse... and decided that Witch Hunt would be the last DLC for Origins once it is finished, and then it was finished...
In needing to work on Dragon Age 2 and put all their effort into it for a early next year release, they decide to cut Origins original 2 year plan in half, and move forward with more focus on Dragon Age 2.
...Well that's what I'm gathering.

The only real hint I've seen one of the devs give in regards to the Warden meeting Morrigan again was when David Gaider mentioned he understood not everyone has the same reason for wanting to find Morrigan, which seems reflected in the dlc's description. That was back around when Awakening was released so I'm guessing this dlc has been in the works since then.

I'd recommend Golems over the other two. Darkspawn Chronicles, while sort of enjoyable, is essentially purely gameplay with no plot and Leliana's Song is.. Leliana in Denerim killing guards. Golems felt like a sidequest from the game and was rather disturbing with the little plot it had.
