Bioware... please... pleeeease dont mess this one up! You have had some pretty lackluster dlc's... Leiliana's story was great until that horrible crappy ending... please dont do that to Morrigan! (I realize u all have already made it but saying it makes me feel better)

You didn't like the ending of Leliana's Song? How would you want it to end? 
I agree however, they better now screw this up. The Warden deserves a great ending...

"I have no idea how this chapter ends, but that is a story for another time" I would be satisfied if they at least showed Leliana walking away but to just fade out and leave it unresolved is ridiculous.

Funny how this thread has gone from the DLC to how long Grey Wardens live

Well basically what they kept you from doing is not killing her... which if we got the option they would have done it most likely. She did betray and have you tortured, oh don't you know? So I think the way the ended it was pretty good... It is Leliana telling the story anyways... Obviously it's not exactly how it happened. She wasn't even in fereldon but she changed the setting for story telling purposes.

So I'm not sure if this is answered, but will this DLC work off the notion that you accepted Morrigan's offer, didn't accept, or will it alter based on the choices you made?



I hope its the last, but at the same time it makes me wonder how good the DLC can be if its so...one size fits all.

This DLC will work of the notion that you accepted Morrigan's offer, didn't accept, and will alter based on the choices you made. That I believe has been confirmed. I'm not sure you could say that it's "one size fits all", more like many sizes fit many sizes... Or that's what I'm gathering.

Ok!! Everyone knows 50 is not old! That is relatively young within ones middles age. And to the guy who said that Loghain will live to be 70. No that is not what I meant!! I am pretty sure he will die of old age before the taint kills him anyway.

More like "Jack of all trades, master of none" or "Have no enemies, yet has no friends" or "OMGZ BIO! THIS DLC DIDNT ADDRESS MY GOD BABY ORR DEAD WARDENZ PRPRLY! MORRIGAN DIDNT HAVE A DMN BABY (Even though we all slept with her at least once)!!!"

Either that, or the Warden will kill her.

she kills the warden through a surprise attack in a cutscene (how else could she?). and i will seek vengeance in da2. you know what would be sick(bad)? if flemeth took over morrigan and kills you like i said, and then you are forced to cooperate with flemeth in da2. i would have a cow for sure

Obviously, Morrigan's rebirthing an Old God into a new, humanoid body didn't go entirely as planned. Just as the Dragon-form Old Gods could be corrupted by the Darkspawn to form Archdemons, the Human-form Old God was partially corrupted by the Warden blood coursing through its veins.
Instead of being driven to burn the world in a Blight, the corrupt Human-form Old God instead is striving to reform the world as it was prior to the First Blight by attempting to create a new Darkspawn Army so great and so terrible that The Maker himself will return. The "Old Darkspawn" will be struck down and killed by the new, improved "God Darkspawn".
Thus causing many of the changes between DA1 and DA2.

Or, like, you know, maybe they're just trying to build some DA2 excitment and there'll be a throwaway line from one of the companion characters "I've never seen a Darkspawn like that!". Either way. Whatever.

These huge spider-like creatures stand on four massive legs and can move with surprising speed. Spitting corrosive poison and able to leap after prey, these creatures are deadly guardians, often associated with the lost, ancient elven culture of Arlathan and the times before that the elves have lost to history.

So saith the DA2 page...

Sounds like Morrigan or Flemeth (possibly) has stolen an ancient elven artifact, in which these Striders are guardians of...
