Bioware: The reason I buy and play your games is you are a master at telling a story. You are so good in fact that you get people to love your characters and love your game worlds. You did a great job with Dragon Age Origins in crafting an entirely new world with Ferelden and mythology like the Grey Wardens (unlike your previous games which were set in the Forgotten Realms). You did an amazing job in creating companions that became our friends, lovers, and enemies as we experienced the story of the Grey Warden becoming the hero of Ferelden. You hired some great voice actors like Claudia Black who voiced Morrigan, Kate Mulgrew who voiced Flemeth, and Corrine Kempa who voiced Leliana. The music was outstanding (probably the best I have ever heard in a video game), and the cinematics like Sacred Ashes were incredible and got me very excited to play the game.

So is it any wonder that when you say you are not making any more DLCs or expansions for such a beloved game as Dragon Age Origins that your passionate fans might be upset?! Is it any wonder that when you promise us a new DLC for each companion and begin to fulfill that promise with Leliana's Song and Witch Hunt and then suddenly stop and say "this is the last one" that people might feel betrayed?! Why can't you guys work on Dragon Age 2 and more expansions or DLC for Dragon Age Origins?! Why can't you do both? You give us nothing to do for 6 months from Wtich Hunt until Dragon Age 2!!! Thanks a lot! Hopefully, thanks to your toolkit there will be some good modders out there in the Dragon Age community that can create some custom content and adventures for us to download and play. But I guess I am going back to playing World of Warcaft after Witch Hunt since you leave us nothing to play for 6 months! And I have already played all your DLC except the Darkspawn Chronicles which I am not interested in playing.

I agree with all the other people commenting that you guys need to have a Dragon Age Ultimate Edition that includes all released game content for Dragon Age Origins including all the DLCs and the Awakening expansion, and it should include both the PC and Mac version (Blizzard does this, why can't you?). Also, I agree that you guys need to continue to patch and support Dragon Age Origins, Awakening, and the DLCs--Awakening especially was very buggy when first released!!! Finally, I gave Dragon Age Awakening a great review on Amazon.com with 4 stars out of 5 even though I actually think Origins was a much better game (5 stars for sure!). You can read my review here: www.amazon.com/review/R2PPVJEFPSWAD8/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm.

Looking forward to Dragon Age 2 and Witch Hunt, but feeling very disappointed with your decision not to release any more content for Dragon Age Origins. This is a missed opportunity as your fans would have continued to buy more expansions, more DLC, and Dragon Age 2. :crying:

gosh, I hope this isn't the last we see of Morrigan. I love her and Claudia Black does her brilliantly. She MUST be in Dragon Age 2!!

You mean the same World of Warcraft that hasn't put out a significant new piece of content since December 2009? Or are you talking about some other World of Warcraft? :P

No and there won't be.

If you want to know what happens in Witch Hunt, play Witch Hunt.

If you mean what happens to DA:O after Witch Hunt, it ends. There is no more warden adventures or any adventures in Dragon Age: Origins after Witch Hunt.

If you want to know will your warden character ever appear in DA2, DA3, DA7, DA103, etc, you will have to wait and see.

Chis Priestly, I don't care about the Grey Warden character. He was nameless anyway. I care about the companions! Please continue their stories! I don't want their stories to end! I don't care if you do it in a DAO DLC, DAO expansion, DA2, DA2 expansion, or DA2 DLC. Just please continue their stories and continue this world that you created and got us all to fall in love with! Thanks for making such great stories all these years! Keep up the good work!

It's not. Some BioWare important guy said in a video I gave a link to some 100 million pages ago in this thread that Hawke's story in DA2 will shape the DA world for future DA game including Morrigan's story. So while she may not appear in DA2 they sure as hell have big plans for her.

I'm sure this has been asked/answered before, but since this is the 'ending' of DA:O, will there be more DLC between now and DA2?

No, this is the last DLC for DA:O (and that includes Awakening).

Wow, you just busted my bubble.  I hand my fingers crossed for more dlc for Awakening.

We all know there is only one way of "asking" for things they clearly said "no" to and hope they'll change their minds. That way of "asking" is by purchasing this DLC, which obviously nearly everyone in this threar will, however that will not be enough. The sales have to be eyepoppingly massive to shock and surprise BioWare. So if you want them to change their minds don't waste your time on the forums and go inform all your friends and tell them to tell their friends and post about it on Twitter and Facebook and wherever else you can.

If they truly wanted the sales they would have made this an expansion instead of one of their crappy dlc.  This storyline was the best in the game imho.  There is no way they can do it justice.  Let's see, $20-$30 bucks vs $7.  Posted Image

This was my main concern with DA2's seemingly large changes in tone from DA1.

Though seeing as Flemeth has such an obviously large role in DA2, I'm somewhat less concerned about them leaving Origins characters/companions in the dust and simply saying "we're done with them".

2 more months and we will have Cataclysm! :P (We could start a whole new discussion about Dragon Age vs. World of Warcraft lol!)

I would say that Dragon Age Origins and World of Warcraft are two completely different type of games... but Dragon Age Origins is better...

That's like saying tetris is too different to compare to DAO but while tetris is extremely different I doubt there's any point to argue it's not a million times worse than DAO.

im gonna go with a possible two story paths for this, flemeth not dead and is after god baby for her own rebirth and morry wants help to kill her again, or morry is actually flemeth, better not be the latter

Ah... how about the fact that Tetris has been being played by millions - constantly - for over 20 years? I doubt many people will be playing DA:O in 2030+, except as a "Retro classic" downloadable for $5 to their iHolophone.

Tetris will still be in the "Most Popular Downloads" section.

Does this make Tetris "better"? No. Are they too different to compare? Probably. But I think there's a long list of reasons why it's not "a million times worse" :P

Now there is a plot twist lol

Im kinda hoping for an option to run off with Morrigan, if she loved you (or what have you) at the end of Origins, the Epilouge says the ring allowed the Warden to connect wiith her for a moment, and she was thinking of him, and she felt regret ... or was it sorrow? Cant remimber off hand , but it was one or the other. One of my Wardens was ALL about her , so if that option is there, He will most likely take it. My main will prolly try and kill her if she can :bandit:

YMMV. Several companions were too tied to the Warden to stand on their own. Following a LI without killing the Warden doesn´t make much sense, and if you didn´t take US doing it now would feel something taken from the Dork Age of comic books, killing/derailing characters to make way for new ones (guess how it usually turned out).
It is he only thing storywise that would make me not to get DA2 (gameplay wise I´ll see), especially as Hawke has failed to impress me so far (Sword Drag? That´s really stupid, not badass).

I wouldn´t mind the Warden going supporting and getting VO. It is no feasible for main characters with so much dialog (goodbye Origins and races - it was nice to have you around), but better than a fade into dark forever to me.

While it might be difficult to justify several of the DA1 companions becoming a DA2 companion - especially for the full10 year time span, there wouldn't really be much difficulty having Hawke encounter any of the companions for a single story quest chain - none of the Warden's companions were tied to him/her at the hip =]

Though there is the problem of most (all except Morrigan, I think--- and she'll probably be killable in this DLC!) of the DA1 companions being killable. So you can't give any of them too large a role if you allow imports.

Then again, Ogrhen was supposedly killable (with difficulty) and is revived in Awakening even if you did. So... meh.

I almost have a feeling that the Warden dies at the end of Witch Hunt... a great self sacrifice to stop somethign NASTY. Since Morrigan knows much of Flemeths magic and plans and Flemeth could sense future events. means Morrigan would know what would happen if the Warden comes after her. ie the Wardens death. thus the warning.

As far as Morrigan living or dying I could see that being the flexible... but I could see why it may lean towards dying.. either sacrificing herself for the love she just caused the death of. or as part of the Wardens final sacrifice to save the world he and Morrigan both must die.

The Warden dying in a measly, cheap DLC ? That really would not be the done thing...

Hey guys, do you think that if I would create a new character in Witch Hunt instead of importing an old one from Origins there would still be a chance of getting some child with essence of an old god-related story? I want to see what would happen to that child so much but I've made ultimate sacrifice in DAO. (Sorry for my poor English;) )

Oh yeah! me too B), actually I was for games and rpgs and I was close to buy conan MMO, but I found out about dragon age and I stoped caring about conan and I have kept playing dragon age many many times, I think that it would also be excellent to find it in MMO and Thedas completely opened, and the players could now chose the nation, fereldan, antivan, orlesian, orzamarian lol, par volarian  yeah I'd be on it too.

I would also add that for me personaly, in a strict role playing sense I would not tend to stay around and play the games of a DM who deliberately killed off players characters simply to advance their own vision of how the story they had in mind unfolds. ( After all, its the players are supposed to be shaping the story as well. )

It's one thing to give players the option to make a 'sacrifice' or 'fade away' into the wilderness ( and return when some young buck or protege needs their help ) but turning up at the gaming table and learning that the DM had stacked it so that by game end you would all be dead for no real sense or purpose but just because he wants to move his story elsewhere doesn't impress me.

So I'm, trusting that Gaider and Co are not those kinds of DM'sB)

I cant wait to see what happens, but Im with Nemesis77 on this one, I wont go out quietly or easily lol :bandit:. Ummmm, with all this content I have a question, maybe somebody knows .

On the PS3 you have but so many save characters. Well, my main has been threw Origins, Awakenings, Golems and now it seems like Witch Hunt ..... So, there is four save files right there. I dont want to delete them before DA2 comes out, I dont want to loose my stories ..... but .... Okay, does the DLC keep our stories and stuff the way we left it in origins so we can delete the other ones and just save the current? Or, if I delete the old ones am I screwed when DA2 comes out ????? Really could use an INSIDERS view on this. Its not a spoiler just a question if I can delete the old files or if the current DLC has saved my story to this point, hence uploading it in DA2 and not loosing anything?

I know you dont upload the Warden, we all know its Hawke in DA2 B), but our stories and how we shaped the world is suppose to be what carries over, and thats what Im worried about loosing.

Any thoughts ?

Yes me and another i forget who were talking about this a bit ago its stupid specialy as the saves are security protected so we cant back them to a dongle or something.
