And the funny thing is Morrigan is seen pregnant even if you make the sacrifice. It would make more sense to take the ritual and live if she gets the baby either way.

Well, so long as your PC has sex with Morrigan even just once, she'll be seen pregnant in the epilogue. The insinuation there is that even if you turned down the Ritual, but still had sex with her, maybe she is pregnant with a normal child, not the Old God Baby?

But it will be interesting to see what "default" Hawke has set for the relevent DAO choices that import over. I mean in ME2, not many people figured that "default" Shepard basically took most renegade choices there...

Out of curiosity, if you don't sleep with Morrigan at all during the OC, is she still pregnant at the end? :P

Actually default Shepard in ME2 took the choices that made the game the most different possible. No romance, no side quests, Udina councilor (proving default is a complete idiot). ME2 default feels a much poorer game, despite the much talked about continuity were nods most of the time.
I wouldn´t assume the same for DA. We know in default Alistair is king from Awakening (with Anora?). That is more in the nice part of things. The ME2 team would have had Anora killing him.
Don´t give so much meaning to the God Child. they are not going to do big changes in plot during the main saga to allow for it and other for people who didn´t. It ´s quite frustating really, one of the best twists I´ve seen in the last years and it will hardly pay off until the very end if at all.

Prove me wrong please.

I can't really prove anything, since all we can do is speculate, but im pretty sure the god child is way too much of a plot drive to simply disgard it completely. Maybe we will hear from him/her in Witch Hunt, maybe we'll get hits from Flemeth in DA 2.

Somehow, i got the feeling its not just a thrown-in ideea for a more open ended epilogue.

Sometime, someone said something about something not to be released as DLC. Something must have changed something. Some things confuse me about that.

But hell, I´ve still got some BW-Points to spent. Bring it on!

Ahh...Thats actually amazing. The main quest in DA:O is only about 20 hours really, it's all the side quests that tack on the extra hours

... Uh. If you rush it I suppose? Most people I've talked to spend 40-60 hours (depending on how many "flavor" NPCs they talk to about history and such) with DA:O if they mostly ignore sidequests, and 60-100 if they try to do all the sidequests they can (again, depending on how chatty they are).

As for the quote, it's from this article.

GDN wrote...
DLC from Origins had some hints to the future and it will all tie
together. Depending on how you finished the first game, there will be
some things in this one based on your decisions. They say 20-30 hours or
more if you do some side content and stated it’s "Mass Effect 2
length." From an action gamer standpoint we were told the game should be
easier to get into but there are still stalwarts of RPGs, like
abilitiies, attributes and crafting of items for those diehard RPG fans."

So, even if we're not arguing over how long it takes specific people to finish DA:O, almost everyone would agree that "Mass Effect 2 length" is shorter than "Origins length".

With every sidequest/talking to every  important/unique NPC it only took me about 50ish hours maximum to beat Origins. o_O 100 hours, you either have to be very, very confused or borderline silly, unless you're just messing around the entire time. 20-30 Hours without Side Content is still awesome.

I've posted this question on the other forum, and I'm still confused...
If you romanced Morrigan in Origins, and then break up with her when she asks it. Will the romance be acknowledged in the DLC?
Has it been confirmed? Posted Image

Hardly anything has been confirmed, but if you slept with her, and she has your baby, then that does count. If you didn't sleep with her... and broke up, then I assume she will only see you as an "old friend" if that is a good or bad thing, I dont' know.

I bet that Bioware will make her not evil, just to please all the nerdy, horny little Morrigan fanboys. I certainly hope that she will be evil, and that I'll be able to cut kill her (I HATE HER), but, knowing how much that would displease a lot of people, I'm not too optimistic.

Can I get some reassurance that the encounter with Morrigan will be substantial for those who romanced her? Please?

Response: I'd like to reassure you, but honestly, you'll probably be heartbroken at the end. My guess is that she's up to no good, and at the end, you can choose whether to kill her or not. I'm going to kill her if I can. >:)

Some of us are huge horny fanboys, mister.

I hope that there will be something for everyone. Not that there will. But again, choices would be nice. Wouldn´t they?

It just feels like this is the conclusion the story of men who romanced Morrigan.

Consider this:

If you're looking on this only from the romance perspective, out of all the romances in Dragon Age Morrigan's is the only one you never get any personal closure on. Not even a little bit. I understand wanting more from Alistair, Zevran and Leliana but you do at least get something from them... whereas from Morrigan you get nothing (albeit for very good reasons).

So for those men who romanced Morrigan, you might want to cut them some slack.

That said, that's not the only reason to do this DLC-- I would think many people would be curious as to what the future holds regarding Morrigan. And, yes, it takes all the various ending states of Origins into account. And, yes, in case anyone's wondering I wrote the Morrigan part.

Even if your character refused to sleep with her the night before the battle and sacrificed himself? Can you still import that character?

Response:

Perhaps I was a bit harsh saying "horny." I guess Morrigan fanboys would be better. Still, I would like it if the game gives you the option to kill her, since the description does say "answers, revenge, or reconciliation of your lost love. Given that she didn't want you to follow her, she might try to kill you once you find her. Just saying. Don't be TOO shocked if she turns out evil.

Ahh... A new DLC! :D The bad thing is that I had to re-create all chars again, so I decided to have 3x chars in total. I'm also trying out the Nightmare difficulty (it's a challenge xD). I guess I gotta hurry up before the 7th. :P Can't wait to see Morrigan again. She's not my fave char from Origins, but I can't wait to see her once again. All my chars are female, so it's either a friendly reunion, or she will be evil. I'm excited. :)

My sensors are set on drama. My medicine is prepared. I will survive.

And for reasons of variety and replay-value I would also like to see that kind of decision.

I can put money on it, that BioWare wont put the god baby in this DLC.

I can see the PC fighting striders for most of the DLC then Morrigan shows up at the end..for a brief conversation. See if Hawke is even mentioned in this DLC I am so going to be pissed.

Oh yes, If they EVER tried to setup an awesome storyline for DA:2 through some DLC, that would just be the worst thing EVER!!!! /Sarcasm off.

Be realistic, this is the PERFECT chance for them to start getting things for DA:2 together.

Basically the last two DLCs are for introducing enemies into Dragon Age 2.

Now with Golem of Amgarrak though, that was the ENTIRE focus. Well besides learning more of Amgarrak but who gave a flying monkey crap?

But with thiiiiis one, they have two focuses. Strider, ANNNND Morrigan's final DAO confrontation.

And the baby is more then likely born, and we want answers. So this DLC betttttter give us a hint at least to what they're doing. Not oh, Morrigan stole some dalish stuff. Oh well. I'll see her later.

Plus, as an optional third focus, the wrap-up to your Warden's Story.

So if you complete Golems of Amgarrak and you see the ending and then play the Witch Hunt DLC with the same warden what impact do that have with save files and the like for importing into Dragon Age 2

This makes me wonder...What if you import someone new from Awakening or Golems? Are they redirected to the same mission, and are some choices skipped? Especially with Golems?

People have their right to their own opinion, will more then likely ignore you, and if they feel like what this DLC is covering is important, and that the DLC they've experienced was lackluster, have the right to complain, and more importantly, the will to complain.
