I highly doubt any of the above mentioned scenarios will even be mentioned in the Witch Hunt DLC. Oh, the Dark Ritual will be covered but only in some unimpressive and lackluster manner. I'm certain it will be as worthless as most all of the other DLC (and expansions) that have been released already. Although it will be interesting to see Morrigan again it seems Bioware has completely abandoned DA:O's outstanding storyline and is just making cheap, cash grab DLC that has nothing in common with the original outstanding storyline. Honestly, although I've been less than impressed with most DA:O DLC thus far (ME2 has done a much better job with its DLC, in my view), I feel this one will be different.  David Gaider is the one who created the horribly complex and hurtful situation with Morrigan in the first place, and I see no reason to believe that he can't write the drama for her character very well for this DLC, whether the Warden is male or female, or Morrigan has the demon baby or not.

...I feel unreasonably miffed by the fact that Ariane wears the ancient elven armour.  My character has worn that armour through thick and thin, disdaining newer and more powerful armour sets because they don't look as nice.  Now Ariane just comes along and gets on the bandwagon.  The fact that her name is very similar to my Warden's name (Ainarien, or Arien for short) just makes me feel so predictable and replaceable...

That sux since the 1.04 patch created more problems than it fixed. Like I said at least with the 1.03 patch I end up getting everything back for which I went into the silver rite mines with

Now with this going to be the Last DLC does that mean that there won't be any more patches either? We'll be able to continue to play the game or are they going to shut down the Web site as well?! .

Ser jory style?? that was merciful for the mage to see that coming, I think I would go for the Genetivi's style :devil:hehehe but hell yeah!! what would be awesome!! and since the mabari wasn't upset about putting the protective cone on him one, I doubt he would mind stabbing the mage to make room for Morrigan, anyway, in my origins I set the dog to protect Morrigan if I was busy or far, "All right dog (I'm not saying the name I put him) if she is in trouble shred any bastard who attacks her".

But from some of the screenshots it looks like you return to the Dragonbone Wastes,
Also if you look at the DLC poster you can see the tower, that was in the Dragonbone Wastes in Awakening...

I would say that it is up to you to commit to your own story, and that if you do the Ultimate Sacrifice, you just shouldn't continue to imort that character.

I think that sounds perfectly reasonable.

I think it sounds perfectly reasonable not to import a dead character, but the dead character's *decisions* should be importable when playing a new character.

No one forces you to use that warden, even if they should have allowed to import his/her choices to Awakening. DC and Leliana´s Song don´t follow the story BTW.
US is too overrated anyway.

I´m going for girl. The Archdemon looked like a winged High Dragon, and those are female. But maybe the reincarnation spell Morrigan used didn´t include chromosome selection.

Two top games with great story-driven (well parts of the the story for both games that people wanted an expansion on) dlc on the same day.... good stuff Bioware.



Fyi people, if this has 100 or more gamerscore for the 360 then it will either tie (or if more, surpass) for most possible gamerscore points in a game atm.

I really hope so, and not just for one extremly short moment, like in Awakening. It would be nice to get a glimse of his/thier lives as king and qween or wardens after one year has passed, and especially Alistair's thoughts about the baby. Sadly it's probabaly too much to expect from a DLC.
No matter, I can always fill in the gaps with my own imagination, and get the happy sickening sweet ending that I want for them. Only the happily ever after ending for my favorite warden will be a satisfying way to end the story and move forward. But that's just me.
I am curious about what others think would be an appropriate ending for the story that would set the minds to rest. Do tell please, if you like. Thus the time will pass more enjoyable until we get to see what ending David Gaider (and possibly others who create this) has in store for us.
