Agreed. Minus one year of DLC is horrifying enough, but literally telling our Warden to "go **** himself" by replacing his spotlight with that of Hawke's, who I assure everyone will have his chance to become a legend, is a horrible no-show approach at this climatic ending.
Minus one year of DLC's but getting a full length game...Yeah, the latter is much better. And the Warden has HAD the spotlight for an entire game, expansion and multiple DLC's. How much spotlight does someone really need? This is something that shouldn't JUST be about the Warden or JUST about Hawke, they should make this good enough to where after the end of this DLC, it'll have you(the person in general finishing the DLC) completely intereasted within DA:2, thats smart marketing, aswell as smart storytelling. Anyone who'd disagree isn't looking at the bigger picture and really is a little 'too' attached to their warden. I love my Warden too, but hell, I'ma love to see some epic storyline unfold right into DA:2.

A DLC is hardly suited to an epic cross over tale, so within a limited 2 hour tale there is just not the time to tell the kind of story you would like to see. Arguably as well, those who suggest that people are "too attached" to their Warden and want DA 2 stuff right now are a]impatient and b]seem a little too much like blind Hawke shippers.
Sure, a full game is better than a DLC but whether it comes on March 11th next year or had it been a year later than that, the full game will finally arrive, no doubt about that. So dismissing Origins DLC's on the basis of that argument is redundant, other than making the complanee seem like a restless teenager.
( and one of the primary agruments against Hawke/DA 2 as now presented is that it does seem to have been rushed and therefore truncated to cater to exactly those impatient people. Thus by Origins standards, DA 2 will be much shorter. )
