Well, it was a good 2 year run of DLC for Origins. It had to end sometime, right?

Yeah....except it was about a 10 month run of DLC. Only about 14 months short, close enough, right?<_<

Are you saying that Bioware lied to me and 2 years haven't passed yet?

Nope they never lied to you. It's their games/DLC to do whatever they want with it, they decided to release DA:2 early because it's near completion in their eyes.

I thought they said that the DLC would be 2 years though... What is it called than if it was ended prematurely?

I'm guessing Morrigan kills Finn...or I at least hope she does. *Snickers*

I'd say its more likely come the end of "Witch Hunt", the Warden is faced with a choice to side with Morrigan or put an end to her schemes. If you side with Morrigan you kill all the companions you traveled with up to that point.

Little bit of a 3:10 to Yuma moment. When Russell Crowe's gang "saves" him from Christian Bale and Russell Crowe blindside betrays them. Yeah, I can see it.

Im guessing the reason she took the baby away from you is because the Archdemon will want revenge on the warden for sealing him into the body of the child and a huge back lash of power will kill you

Sweet Mother Goddess, Zerroth2, what did you do to the end of your post?

LOL.. he didn't do anything... these are the wonders of a Beta Website!

He can edit it though. Won't see a thing but go on BBcode mode and delete all espaces past the last word of original post. That should delete the weird codes too.

Is the site still beta Posted Image

It was stated by Morrigan that the baby would be unharmed and uncorrupt at birth, but perhaps maybe she was shooting white lies at my Warden to comfort him. He is a softie when it comes to others suffering for his decisions, should they be bad choices.

Perhaps Morrigan wishes to rule the world with the god baby; or else the god baby indeed might wish revenge on your Warden. I myself believe that she wishes to spread the beliefs of religion without the influence of the Chantry from today's Ferelden, much like she explained her primary purpose to the Warden. She believes that it might be a lesson to enlightenment as to what kind of primordial being the Old gods are.

So how long after Awakening will Witch Hunt be set?

Depends on how long Awakening took. Awakening is 6 months after the end of Origins, Witch Hunt is a year after.  So a bit less then 6 months, maybe 5-51/2, with Golems of Amgorrak somewhere between.

The idea is that the Warden order is being rebuilt at Vigil's Keep. And that the Wardens there have found out about Morrigan possibly returning to fereldon. My question is... why isn't the Warden bringing more Wardens along?

Isn't it simple?

The other Wardens, even the ones you Wardenize in Awakening, are just to helpless

Besides, why would an Awakening Warden bring that bunch with him/her when none were romanceable? That alone doomed them to be stationed at the Vigil while the warden does some more heroic stuff..

One of the things I felt when I played Awakening, was that I never really got the chance to either bond, or get to know my companions (not like in Origins). I would rather have a team of people from Origins instead of people from Awakening. 2x chars are already confirmed, so I doubt we get either. Posted Image If they really wanted a char from Awakening, I would want Sigrun without a doubt. She was the only one I really liked from Awakening.

Anyway, atleast we get Finn and that Dalish Elf. Posted Image Is she a rogue btw?

So, we can assume that the entire first year of DA2's ten years takes place in DDA (During Dragon Age).

Er...you mean that the first year of game time in DA2 is happening at the same time as the events in DAO, right?  Because the whole of DA2 occurs during the Dragon Age.  It 100 years long.

Assuming that is what you mean: It isn't even an assumption.  Laidlaw in his many video inteviews has flat out stated that is the case.

If neither of those things is what you meant, please clarify.

Well, the reason why the Companions were not as indepth in Awakening as in Origins, is because they aren't suppose to be. Awakening is an expansion... which is basically only one large DLC. So you can expect the companions to be expanded on a little more then some other DLC we see... which isn't a whole lot. Awakening is not a whole game, it is not a sequel, it is just a extra campaign added onto the end of Origins... You can't expect it to be anything more, because that's just not what it is. Which is why I find it humorous that people were so disappointed for reasons of expectation mainly that the companions weren't as indepth. Which basically is slang for you couldn't have sex with any of them. Why can't a have romance? Well, the reality is many, if not most people who play Origins, play it for the relationships... including the love relationships. Many are women, and many are men, but most care about the relationships/sex they can have. Example; the most popular "mods" that are available are sex mods... The most downloaded mods are sex mods... by a large margin... Which means most people want sex... because sex sells. So, obviously when their is no sex, people will be disappointed. I however, don't play DA for sex... I do play it for relationships, but not as much about the sex. I also enjoy this game for other reasons... if you could imagine. I like killing darkspawn. I like the quests you have to do and the challenges they take to complete them. I love the lore, which is criticized a lot. I also really like the companions, in origins, and some even more in Awakening. Justice, Sigrun, Nathaniel, Anders, all very good characters/companions. I like them the same reason I liked Sketch in Leliana's Song, because they are likable characters, even if I can't have sex with them.

Well...I could go on without the romance. Romance is just one small part of it. And yes. alot of people just want the romance/sex part, which is a shame.

I'm seriously thinking its possible to kill Morrigan and us ourselves die shortly after. I mean nobody really wants to imagine the end the warden we created. So they force it on us and make us accept Hawke by offing us. Story wise.

This is one of the few things that would make me ignore DA2. I´ve seen that trope times enough to be sick of it.
