I'm guessing Morrigan kills Finn...or I at least hope she does. *Snickers*

I'd say its more likely come the end of "Witch Hunt", the Warden is faced with a choice to side with Morrigan or put an end to her schemes. If you side with Morrigan you kill all the companions you traveled with up to that point.

Ita - except dog cause he is loyal to you

A project is only a waste of money if the creators no longer care and just want to finish the story. Such may be the case since they have already raked in enough from previous installments. I would have hoped to see this tale go out with a bang on the same scale in which it began, and I am not only referring to wrapping things up with Morrigan. Pity, but at least we still have Mass Effect.

The reason why BioWare did not put in Alistair or Loghain...is because either of them could be dead. Why waste money on that?

Besides I dont think we will get much Morrigan time anyway.

They were in Awakening. Loghain is in Orlais. Alistair... they should explain why he isn´t around, especially if he is the father but not king.

Mass Effect 2's storyline consisted of 80% recruiting people. I really hope they do a lot better with 3. As for having old companions, it really wouldn't make any sense to have them. Everyone went their seperate ways after Origins, even the people it said you traveled along with, it doesn't mean they are constantly there. My Warden for example HATED Alastair, so Him coming along wouldn't have made much sense. =P Seeing as he told him to beat it first chance he got.

Awakening was an expansion...this is a 1 hour DLC.

Dude DA:2 looks insane. I dunno how you're more excited for as you just said....a 1 hour DLC(Albeit a very cool 1 hour DLC.).

There's no real proof there's any Morrigan army.
Also, the creature on top of the tower seems like an Strider.

And wtf is a strider? I suppose it has something to do with this mirror...Morrigan is feelin up.

I don't know if anyone has already posted this, but here goes, anyway. The trailer for Witch Hunt can be viewed here:)

Thanks so much for posting this.
It doesn't give too much away about the plot, thus it is hard to say what role the baby with an Old God's soul will play, if any at all. Morrigan seems up to no good though. It's nice that the Dog is back. It was a bit strange that the always faithful companion was not in Awakening.
Warden: "Dog, you stay home on this one! You hear me? Home, I tell you!"
Dog: :crying:

Well, since the trailer seems being told from a Human Noble perspective (you can se the Cousland Bioware char in the trailer) I'd say the one referred as disappeared  is, in fact, Tamlen.
The "potential" Dalish Warden would be the dead one.

Sooo, I'm guessing Morrigan is going to reintroduce the old religon into trevinter yes? Seeing as the baby isn't with her, I presume she's already copied the old gods soul. Remember the explanation on how shapeshifters learn their forms? Well there you go. If not, then you should know they have to copy the soul of what they want to become. Sooo we can all assume that morrigan is going to become some sort of god. Links into DA:2 and Hawke becoming the most important char in the world, probably because he's the only guy who knows where:-

1) Morrigan's location. Could be using the mirrors to communicate to trevinter.

2) The Warden's location. All can be presumed that the warden isn't dead. If you can kill Flemeth, and you've already killed the "Arch demon" You're obviously stronger than morrigan, plus you know everything she can dish out as you basically created her, stat wise. Plus yada yada, she loves the warden her only weakness, he probably knows how to kill her, yada yada. The ring ties them both toghther yada yada.

And this story about erm, the evil baby going to get it's own back on the warden? Yeah.. it's uncorrupted and Human, meaning it's like what...not even 3 months old? Come on guys. Even if it is an old god, it would be thankful to the warden for releasing it from this corruption the darkspawn released upon it. If you read the codex pages, it says the arch demons would be in agony and pain.

Maker I think to much on these matters.

Let me guess, based on that trailer, the warden ends up being trapped on the other side of that mirror/portal. Behind which lies the great Old God. Or something like that...

Years later, he or she will reemerge, wholly posessed. Oh hang on, thats the storyline from John Carpenters "Prince of Darkness"

All right, Dog's cool. They probably figured to save money on voice acting by throwing Dog in the lot, haha! Now that I think about it, does anybody remember the codex that you had to pickpocket during the Mage's tower quest? It was supposed to be a foreshadowing codex. Anyway, we don't actually know that Morrigan is without the baby. The trailer doesn't give that much information.

Well I don't see that baby anywhere on the trailer, perhaps she's hired a nanny? who knows.

I'm very happy about this new DLC . . .My only question is the trailer says its Warden's Final Quest? That doesn't make me too happy. . .

During the Circle of Magi plot, there is a sidequest called Summoning Sciences where you could pickpocket Arl Foreshadow at the end. The codex that is pickpocketed supposedly foreshadows (hence the name of the Arl) future storylines, DLC, etc.

I know a few people here who will be supremely happy to see those words 'Final Quest'. They are already wearing Hawkes boots as we speak, even though they have not yet been able to check them for size.

I do wonder though, percentage wise what the figures are. Is it a minority who feel similarily unhappy, or a sizeable proportion of Dragon Age players   ? Are most people happy to see the last of the Warden, or will massed populariy eventually see his or her return in some way ?

The fate of tv shows and films have been occasionally swayed by such forces after all...

Time will tell.
