During the Circle of Magi plot, there is a sidequest called Summoning Sciences where you could pickpocket Arl Foreshadow at the end. The codex that is pickpocketed supposedly foreshadows (hence the name of the Arl) future storylines, DLC, etc.

Oh, that. Thought it was just an easter egg.

Finn probably means the rest of the mirrors.

The reason why BioWare did not put in Alistair or Loghain...is because either of them could be dead. Why waste money on that?

Besides I dont think we will get much Morrigan time anyway.

They were in Awakening. Loghain is in Orlais. Alistair... they should explain why he isn´t around, especially if he is the father but not king.

Awakening was an expansion...this is a 1 hour DLC.

That´s no valid excuse.

I agree with you.

* Drama mode: on * With this DLC, the Dragon Age's team has disappointed me... I never thought that was possible. * Drama mode: off * :(

Excellent trailer. Left me wanting more, which I guess is the point. :P

My current character is not only Dalish but has a relationship with Morrigan. Looks to be very interesting on both fronts.

I'm very happy about this new DLC . . .My only question is the trailer says its Warden's Final Quest? That doesn't make me too happy. . .

I know a few people here who will be supremely happy to see those words 'Final Quest'. They are already wearing Hawkes boots as we speak, even though they have not yet been able to check them for size.

I do wonder though, percentage wise what the figures are. Is it a minority who feel similarily unhappy, or a sizeable proportion of Dragon Age players   ? Are most people happy to see the last of the Warden, or will massed populariy eventually see his or her return in some way ?

The fate of tv shows and films have been occasionally swayed by such forces after all...

Time will tell.

Hehe, maybe it'll end like The Sopranos, with a cut to black!

You know, I've been wondering for a while what the deal with those mirrors was. I'm glad they're actually dealing with them. Witch Hunt looks like it's shaping up to be pretty neat. Excited!

I don't understand it...If Loghain is dead at the Landsmeet when either Alistair or the character kills him due to his refusal to go through the Joining, then how can he be in Orlais in The Awakening?

If you let Loghain live and make him a gray warden then, in Awakening, he will come at vigil's keep, give you some stuff and tells you he was called to help the grey wardens in Orlais.

If you kill him, he wont appear.

In Origins, when Loghain refused the Joining, it was either Alistair or the character whom killed Loghain at the Landsmeet. If it was Alaistair, Queen Anora would have been treated decently, but locked in the tower for a short period. (Because she refused to work with the man who killed her father or the Wardens)\\

So, in Awakenings, Alistair is king and stops by Vigil's Keep to make sure everything is all right. He recognizes his old friend. The reason they both lived(in Origins after the slaying of ther archdemon) is because Morrigan's sex ritual gave birth to a child as she wanted to do something with the Old God. (Alistair)

Alright, after viewing the trailer I'll give you my thoughts...

I like it. I'm glad they are expanding on the most detached origin in the game, the Dalish Origin. Coming full circle to the mirror, which was never expanded on, was a really great idea. Dog! Finn seems fun. The Dalish Elf is also filling a character that isn't used much, from again the distant Dalish. The Strider looks pretty awesome if you ask me! It would be awesome if you did the Dalish Elf Origin, Romanced Morrigan and did the Dark Ritual, I'll have to try that. Hopefully this DLC fulfills the expectation it's built up over the year! If it does that, I'm satisfied.

Waiting for this to come out is right up there with waiting for TESV news.

I've took as much as I can stands and can't stands no more!

Let me guess, based on that trailer, the warden ends up being trapped on the other side of that mirror/portal. Behind which lies the great Old God. Or something like that...

Years later, he or she will reemerge, wholly posessed. Oh hang on, thats the storyline from John Carpenters "Prince of Darkness"

i wouldn't be surprised if something like this happens. Trapt on the other side by Morrigan for ever.Posted Image

I'm getting a very Lord of the RIngs palantir vibe from the mirrors.

I'm excited for a conclusion finally but worried how it'll turn out. Its going to be hell waiting for Witch Hunt to download!

The mirror is back. I honestly did not see that coming, I thought it was totally going to be unspoken of until DA2.

I didn't think it would be mentioned ever again. More proof that BioWare truly knows what they are doing, and our doomsaying is just because we like to assume the worst! And for the people saying that if you enjoy Hawke then you hate the Warden. That's not true. I can't wait for Hawke. I love my Warden. However, I would prefer my Warden got a proper end and that it is impractical for one hero to defeat hundreds and hundreds of problems. Dragon Age is dark fantasy, and realistic in it's own way. People die. That's that.

To be fair, they could have just brought it back without prior knowledge that they would. Remember, if you believe that Lost was planned from the beginning, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Not that I don't think that it wasn't planned out (the mirror, that is).

A good story teller is always open to changing the story for the better as it goes. You don't just plan it all out without compromise... that's what happened to star wars.

I don't know, you can definitely tell that Dragon Age Origins is VERY inspired directly by Lord of the Rings. If you think about it, it's very obvious, and more so then just all hard core fantasy like forgotten realms. But Dragon Age also is inspired by other things, and is also original in some others.
