Oh please enough with the pity party. What will you say when DA3 has another new protagonist. Oh well I guess Bioware really didn't just love Hawke.thenemesis77 wrote...
I agree, David and company will kill off the Warden to never be used again to make way for thier Hawke.
Only not, what do you want? More mindless DLC like Golems which mean nothing? The primary concern of the Grey Wardens is the blight, the blight was stopped by our Warden, he's a legendary figure because of that. Thats not a punch in the face.thenemesis77 wrote...
Hell, it says your Warden's last saga, if that is not a punch in your face that they are done with him/her.

I am afraid that this DLC will be one of the worst endings I have ever seen, I have bought the points to see this bitterhell to the end.
I have to say that I think they make Morrigan go into the mirror and then the Warden comes after her into the Mirror and then it ends. I can see them doing that. I bet they make the Warden get taken over in DA3 by one of the evil gods. Hawke is no more yours then any other premade character, hell his story is picked out and told, how lame. Having them to make the Warden carry over is too much work for them and thus, they are lazy, so thus you have Hawke.
Indeed, I did mention that earlier, Warden sucked into a terryfying dimension in which live the Elder Gods. And just like Lisa Blounts character in JC's movie "Prince of Darkness" ( which had a nice shiny, glowing mirror to the hell dimension containing a trapped Satan ) being sucked in and reemerging at a future date as a host to one of them.
Now, of course, this DLC won't do that.....probably...but mirrors in fantasy/horror stories often are about evil forces on the other side out to posses and/or draw in the viewer, so it wouldn't be a surprise if that happened
I was also thinking this.......to make Morrigan help and kill you to take over your body for one of the old gods, she made a deal with. The Warden taking on up to 3 of the forgotten old bad gods........just too much for him/her to kill and find a way out. So yea I can see the Warden back, but not as who you loved but as a old evil god that we have to come to terms with and have to kill......damn.....thats just a pisser, If she sets my Warden up for this.....I would only play to make her pay as my Warden loved her and the child and to betray that is going beyond what I have thought she was out for. As you can see how she looks back at you.........looks like a evil look....this is going to be bad news for the Warden and makes it easy for the team at BioWare to make it such to no play the Warden anymore but also to hurt you more by having to kill his/her host body..........eek....makes you feel sick but I see this.

I would like to say, that yes they do this, which character that you know of from DAO or beyond had even ONE of them had a happy end? I have not seen one of them have this, it's all pain and evil done to them and not even one way to have a happy end but "oh that is lame to even have one way to have that."
Your are simple minded to think thats all Warden's do.....really? Yea, he/she is a legendary frgure but at the same time..where do we vist what it is they want at a personal level? All we do is what our code says or what others want us to do. The Warden left DAA at the end to do what they wanted to do and I would like to see more of that.....beyond just a DLC...but hell thats just me.
If this is to be such a end, let it be at least happy...but I guess that is a emo's way of thinking.

Oh, good call Brock. Normally I avoid comparing the two series, but yes, very good call.
Heh heh I wouldn't. LOTR was the VERY first series that DA:O reminded me of. Gathering an army to fight what looks like a damned army of Orcs and trolls? The Archdemon being Sauron? Killing Sauron brings down the ENITRE army of Orcs? Just like killing the Archdemon's death brings and end to the direct Blight?
I cannot speak for its "spiritual predecessor" Baldur's Gate, but LOTR was the first memory in my mind.
The Warden, the Hero of Ferelden, is probably considered the greatest Hero of his time. I mean he ended a blight! Hawk can't even live up to that...
I myself believe you, but....
You need to read the part in the site that declares Hawke as "the single greatest, or most important, hero of all Thedas". I personally would not have any damn idea what could be more important than killing an Archdemon, but then again someone and I talked about Hawke perhaps making the world's largest pizza pie?? Mmmmm....

Finally; I've been wanting to find Morrigan since the end of Origins this will be perfect. Plus there's some new Mass Effect 2 DLC coming out on the 7th as well. I was only going to buy one.. but BioWare has twisted my arm... I'm going to get them both, lol. Which one to play first though? Now that's a tough one...

"A punch to the face"?
Really?
It's a video game.

Way to be condescending.

Oh please, you are not special or persecuted because of your overtly irrational reaction to a video game.

Yeah, that is strange that he is considered the greatest, most important hero of all Thedas... even if he destroyed teh chantry... does that even compare to ending a blight?

I think it's something like 6 months later.

The Forgotten Ones, Only in dreams do we hear whispered the names of Geldauran and Daern'thal and Anaris, for they are the Forgotten Ones, the gods of terror and malice, spite and pestilence.
--From Codex Entry: Fen'Harel: The Dread Wolf\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
There are references in elven mythology to another race of gods: gods of evil, with whom the gods of the elven pantheon fought an endless war. These gods are now known as the Forgotten Ones, and for good reason as even the hahrens, or elven elders, know little to nothing about them. According to legend they, along with the elven pantheon, were trapped away from the world at around the time of the fall of Arlathan.
I think Morrigan wants the age of man to pay, that when she says, "some doors should never be opend" she is right but she is going to open the portal to where they are. This will lead to DA2, Hawke will have to deal with this issue aswell and I think it might also be safe to say if she is going to open a portal for the Forgotten ones to come out.........she might just be evil, because they are pur evil. I see it now, not only are they going to kill the Warden, they are going to make Morrigan...evil.
So the 3 gods either come out and you fight them and die or you get sucked in the protal or traped in it by Morrigan.
Only card the Warden could hope to play is if you let the Architect live in DAA, then I guess he might could help you get out of there..I can see where this is going, the Darkspawn are free and thanks to the Warden, are left to live. So they help him fight against the Forgotten ones, in DA3.......I can dream.
The more I thinka about it, I think we have the roles in the wrong place with Felmeth and Morrigan, I almost think that Felmeth is not the evil one and Morrigan might just be......damn.
Morrigan did say that Power is all that truley matters......only one to make her kinda crack and think of love was the Warden.

The Blight is only one form of an evil army they've mentioned. Who knows what other horrors await in the world of Dragon Age. =P You can't really assume the Blight is THE evilest of evil, and no other adventure could ever match up to it! Who knows, Hawke might fight things that make the Blight seem like childs play.

Good day to you! I, as big fan of this game, have one question: is the company going to release special version of the game on DVD, which includes all the DLC for DAO. Because, it's been announced that it would be soon the last DLC (Witch hunt) for the first part of this game. So I thought that they are planning some sort of that. May be someone could answer me. =)
Yes, Ultimate Edition or something like that, in October I believe.

Who said anything about a happy ending? Why should game series follow a character until the end of his life. We've seen him do the most important thing he's likely to do, now other significant people emerge.
