One last thread hangs in the saga of the Grey Warden, Hero of Ferelden. Uncover the secret carried by Morrigan and the plans she hides in Witch Hunt, the final DLC for Dragon Age: Origins!

Is this correct?  I guess it must be, since this was an official post.  The announcement from Dragon Age on Facebook said:  "Uncover the secret carried by Morrigan and the plans she hides in Witch Hunt, the next DLC for Dragon Age: Origins!"

I'm curious about what happened to the announced 2 years of DLCs and expansions.

Yes, Witch Hunt is the final DLC for Dragon Age: Origins, and imo a great send off to an awesome game.

What happened to "2 years..."? Dragon Age 2. :)

Expansions aren't DLC. We might still get one expansion before DA2.

Maybe.

...ahh so no additional expansion pack. Too bad :(.

Woah, woah woah, I missed that "final" part...I read the "conclusion" bit, but I assumed that meant this would be the last chronological DLC for Origins.

Yeah, um...You know, I'm not gonna say anything until I get something official.

So 2 years means only 9 Months of support for DA2, or does the timer reset?

...

Huh.

Well.

No offense, but we were promised two years of DLC for Origins. Not less than a year and then a sequel. I'm trying not to sound all self-righteous and entitled, but...well...I'm fairly sure that we were promised two years even after DA2 was announced.

We shall capture Morrigan, and bring her to Denerim, and then it will ensue this.

That's cool to hear Mr. Priestly, but it says we can import characters from  Origins and Awakening, it doesn't say if we  can still import our characters from Golems of Amgarrak. Please tell me it's possible?
I ran out of room on the save list, and since my characters saves are in GoA, I deleted the Awakening saves... please tell me it wasn't a mistake!Image IPB

In the second pic, isn't that a mabari to the right of the Dalish warrior?
Is Barkspawn returning??? Will we finally learn what became of him?! :o

I feel sadness... When such an awesome game comes to an end, it's like a kitten dying. On the other hand, I'm incredibly excited to meet Morrigan again.

Come to think of it, HDD space that Dragon Age occupied on my PS3's HDD is ridiculously huge already... If DA2 will have same DLC plans I sincerely hope it won't require any mandatory install on PS3...

P.S. Character limit is a huge problem, speaking of DLCs.

You guys said a few months ago that you would continue to release DLC even after the announcement of Dragon Age 2.  Image IPB

I guess that meant "just one more".  Image IPB

Oh well, I got ME2 DLC to tide me over until DA2.

Wow. We've waited so long...but it's really here. I should be ecstatic, but I'm...apprehensive.

I'm a little dismayed that it's coming in the form of a $7 DLC. How much story can they fit into something like that? The whole god-baby thing, crammed into an hour or two? Is Morrigan's story truly finished after this, or just the Warden's? And I'm not saying other DLC has been bad, but none of it has felt very...vital. It just felt like a spinoff. Like Joey to Origins' Friends.

It's a crazy, bittersweet feeling that my Warden will finally be done in a couple of weeks. If it's a happy ending, he's never leaving her side again, and if it's a sad one, well I just hope there's another Ultimate Sacrifice-esque ending we can choose. Maybe not with the same magnitude, but with the same motivation and end result.

Definitely excited...but also nervous. Damn you BioWare, for making me care about your characters so much. Please make this good.

I'm happy that they do not fulfill their promise of 2 years worth of DLC by releasing a full sequel in that timeframe! But it is sad that there will be no new playable Dragon Age stuff for 6 months.

V. v. excited.

I hope very much that this DLC will take into account how the Warden resolved the Dark Ritual scene -- right?

It will, right?

I'm concerned that the import feature will end up being botched just like it was for getting the Morrigan romance epilogue in Awakening...

I know...I mean, I'm excited but also...I mean...

Wishy-washy.

It just feels like this is the conclusion the story of men who romanced Morrigan.

I think I would be okay with this if we at least got to see Alistair, Zevran, or Leliana at the end of the DLC, and got to experience their endings. Seriously, that'd make it all better. The only thing really bothering me is that this is a conclusion for a specific character, and not to the Warden in any situation. Liaramancers are also getting to continue their romance in Shadow Broker, and here is Morrimancer DLC...I just want to get a conclusion for my other Wardens, too...:?

Also, I really wanted to see some more character DLCs...I mean, they said that we'd continue to get two years of DLC after the announcement of DA2. I think their reasoning was "if you don't like this game, the Warden's adventures continue!"

Believe me, I'm very grateful, and very excited, but...I wish I could be unreservedly so.
