I dont think so, no. Because you can import a character from Origins without playing Awakening it is safe to assume Awakening epilogue won't have much of an impact.
The only thing that matters is if the game knows Morrigan is a love interest. From earlier posts looks like this happens regardless of the expansion's epilogue.
So it seems like the romance flags matter, but so do some of the other Morrigan plot related ones.
So, the primary flags regarding Morrigan's status in WH might be some of the other plot related flags, like whether you gave her Flemeth's grimoires or if she gave you the ring too. Not sure if the Golden Mirror has a unique plot flag attached to it or if that just affects the approval which I don't think can be imported over, as I remember that being a question with Oghren before Awakening came out (whether his numerical approval would import over).
Can anyone answer me this question? At the end of DAO, I had romanced Morrigan and done the Dark Ritual but I don't believe I decided to go look for her, and at the end of Awakening I didn't get the 'Warden went looking for dark hairded sorceress....' epilogue. I did get the Sorrow and Regret epilogue in Origins though. So does that mean that the romance flag will not be 'up' in the Witch Hunt DLC if I use this save? I have a save right before the Archdemon anyway so I can choose the 'look for Morrigan' option but obviously this won't be the same levelled character from Awakening...
Obviously I don't think people will know for definite the answer due to Witch Hunt not being out yet but if anyone has any ideas, please post!

I think looking for Morrigan will effect the game a little... but maybe not a bunch if you rommanced her. And doing the dark ritual and romancing her are two different things.

I went back on a previous save to be on the safe side for the very same reason. My guess is as long as her approval was at 'love' at the end of origins it should be ok. Though note that if you talked to morrigan during the last battle at denerim and got the 'sorrow and regret' ending her approval could have reverted to 'friendly'. Giving her the golden mirror during the epilogue should fix this problem though.

Yeah, I know the DR and romancing are seperate, but added it in just in case it does make a difference to any of the flags. If I have to just play from the end of DAO to get the ending I want then I will but I would rather play from DA:A.
I would hate to be a developer in this situation, having to cater for all the variations in endings...

I'm on the 360 version and all I know is that the bar is at the very top, can you check what the actual status is on the 360 version?

Bioware has assured us that much effort has been put in to having your game react correctly to Witch Hunt. They also clarified that the bug that happens with Awakening, about you losing the "love" to "friendship" by talking to morrigan at the last battle, will not effect Witch Hunt, in the way it effected Awakening. That is what they have stated so... Take it as you will.
I hope so, I've just realised that I don't have the extra golden mirror available in my epilogue save and obviously can't go back to Orzammer to get it. Guess I'll just have to wait and see...

If that is true, then it is great. But I wouldn't exactly hold them to their word.

So is it possible for you guys to confirm if the Dog is OUR Dog or not?
It is, and it isn't. Due to technical limitations, we were unable to import the actual dog creature. There is a popup to name dog, and dog's equipment and stats are generic, much like Oghren in Awakening. You can use a respec tome and customize him however you want.
From a story perspective, if you recruited dog, this is your dog. If you didn't, this is a different dog you picked up sometime later. There's a codex entry for each version respectively.
So it's not mentioned in the DLC dialogue specifically if it is your dog?
if it is mentioned in the codex does it really matter? - respecing oghren in awakening did not make him feel any less oghrenish did it?

I was thinking the exact same thing, like you have to choose between going along with morrigan or killing her.

I just hope it is at least released to PS3 on the same day as in Xbox360.
