I wonder what, impact, if any - this may have on the happenings of DA2

I was wondering that myself. I think one of the devs said WH could be imported into DA2, don't know if it has any effect though.

There'd be no point to importing it if it didn't have an impact, small or otherwise.

Yes, yes, yes.

I'm very much looking forward to this. In terms of storyline, this is the DLC I've been most excited about. I can't wait to finally find out what Morrigan has been up to, and see what's going on with my god child.

Don't get your hopes up on the God child bro, I don't actually think it is in this DLC Posted Image

Well if witchs' have the same style of giving birth as we do and a year has passed since the archdemon was slain...then the god baby should be three months old...

Just saying...

The god child HAS to be in this DLC if you did the Dark Ritual. And if you slept with her, your child should also be in it... Just saying... :)

I agree completely the god baby should be in this DLC, but judging on how BioWare have been lately I'm guessing not. Posted Image

I haven't really been very upset with anything Bioware has done with Dragon Age Origins yet, there were some weaknesses but it's all cool, however if they don't actually give you a fulfilling ending to your story with Morrigan, whatever it may be (Dark Ritual/Love/Friend/Enemy), then I will be extremely unpleasant to be around for a couple months.

LOL, PMA.

No sweat. I understand now. Part of the confusion here is the plethora of terms for the same thing.

I think I read somewhere that Morri may make an appearance in DA2. I'm pretty sure her mom Flemeth does.

Seems like everyone's using Cousland to romance Morri...

Am I the only using Amell instead?

I'm doubting the Old God Baby will be in Witch Hunt. It damn well better get a mention however, as the Dark RItual and Old God Baby is likely the one thing most on the Warden's mind if he did the DR or is the father of the God Baby...

Just a thought. DA2 takes place 10 years after DA:O. It starts with the new character (Hawke) as a young guy starting out, and we follow him through his saga.

So... does he have an "origin" story? Such as being the offspring of Morrigan and the Warden?

Hmmmmmmmmm..............

Anyone have any idea what implications the Mirror from the Dalish Origin will have to the DLC, Morrigan, and the Warden? It seems to be important.

Not unless there is time travel! Posted Image

DA2 starts out in Loethring, just before it was destroyed, which means that the Warden and Morrigan just met and Hawke is about to begin his adventure. (DA2 doesn't start 10 years after DA:O)

Hahahahaha!

My bad!

Okay.... would that mean a Mass Effect tie-in?

Good thing I didn't get DA Awakening, as my hero choose to search for Morrigan before continuing his duties as a warden in the end of DA:O, do you think this would have an impact in the story?

Why exactly does the baby need to be in the DLC? a reffrence if you did it certinly, but an actual apearance?

The hell are you expecting from a 3 month old(give or take in the year later dlc) exactly? certinly hope'n you don't expect it to magicly grow up soon as it pops out the womb or it being a giant space baby here

I'm on the fence. On one hand, I literally squealed when I saw the announcement. However, as I calmed down and started to think about it, my mood flipped on its head. I realized, knowing Morrigan's character, it's probably just going to be a short detour where she popped up on biz of her own, said a few cryptic lines to your Warden, and then disappeared again. So, really, just repeating what already happened, with a little more detail. I hope we're offered a choice to follow her at the end, even if it meant to our doom. It'd be a perfect ending for my elf-mage, who I roleplayed as being a powermonger and 'pragmatically evil'. He's offered a chance to witness real power--possibly harness it--so of course, he went with her. A satisfactory ending to his tale.

Also, does anyone know if the choices your Warden selected in his encounter with Morrigan will transfer into DA2, alongside the rest of your story data? I think I read somewhere on the forums DLC data would be woven into DA2, but I couldn't find a specific line. I'd like to have seen, or at least heard second-hand, what monster he possibly became--and that's assuming there's even a choice like that present. I honestly hope you can follow her, in some form, whether it had been against her wishes or as some sort of accomplice to her in her endeavors against Flemeth. I'd be intensely let-down if Morrigan just upped and left again.

I may be expecting to much but I expect way more then just a couple lines from Morrigan and then she runs off again... that would be the biggest mistake Bioware has made with Dragon Age. Witch Hunt is about Morrigan, and the story connections our Warden has to her, whether it be enemy, friendship, lover, dark ritual. All of those options have to be present... or it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever. And yes, I am expecting either the god baby to be there are at least be mentioned with a good explanation... If they do it as advertisement for DA2, where things are left open and not concluded... then that goes directly against what the description of the DLC says. Ties up ALL loose ends, the conclusion of Origins, and of our Warden's Adventures. I expect exactly what Bioware says to expect. Bioware says that your options in Origins will effect Witch Hunt correctly, then I believe them. We shall see... this is becoming a long wait I must admit...

Oh I figured out my bio points a week ago, got exactly 560! I had to buy the prank/gift items separately to get exact, but yeah, I don't even know how much I will play DA2. To tell you the truth, DA2 looks like it's being changed drastically, and some would say in a good way, but just because I liked Mass Effect 2 because of the epic story and great characters, I still play Origins 12 times through, and Mass Effect 2 only twice. DA2 may be great, it may look great, have amazing characters, great storytelling, but that doesn't mean it will be replayable like Origins. In fact, I have a feelign it will not be...but I could be wrong.
