Yes, Witch Hunt is the final DLC for Dragon Age: Origins, and imo a great send off to an awesome game.

What happened to "2 years..."? Dragon Age 2. :)

...

Huh.

Well.

No offense, but we were promised two years of DLC for Origins. Not less than a year and then a sequel. I'm trying not to sound all self-righteous and entitled, but...well...I'm fairly sure that we were promised two years even after DA2 was announced.

I'm happy that they do not fulfill their promise of 2 years worth of DLC by releasing a full sequel in that timeframe! But it is sad that there will be no new playable Dragon Age stuff for 6 months.

What you said.  TAKE MY MONEY BIOWARE!  :o

Really looking forward to this, though I do wish it was a full expansion rather than a $7 DLC. Either way, I hope the Warden gets some closure.

Well, this sounds interesting. I only got Dragon Age: Origins like a month ago, but this may be the first (and maybe only) DLC I'm willing to buy.

Even though I was disappointed with GOA, I have high hopes for this one. :)

I just noticed it's gonna be released on September 7th... the same day as Lair of the Shadow Broker. Silly Bioware, my choice has already been made.

Man, when I saw that announcement I swear I creamed my pants. Too much information? Too bad!

Jokes aside, I dearly hope that they took their time with this DLC, because morrigan was arguably one of the 3-2 strongest characters in the original (admittedly, if you could put up with her), and with the conflict unresolved, her story arc deserves a worthy conclusion.

I have to admit, I have mixed feelings on this and not just because it's the last Origins DLC.

That it is DLC w/ Morrigan, extatic! :o:D:wizard::lol:
That it's the last Origns DLC, bummed.  :(
That w/ BW's record the ending is going to be abrupt and suck and this will be the final to our Warden's story, heartbrokenly resigned. :crying::sick::blink::?:o:ph34r:<_<

Looks like my dislike of everything you guys have done since DA2 was announced continues to be reinforced.  So, thanks for that.

First a Liara DLC for ME2 and now a Morrigan DLC for DAO.

Bioware really knows what their audience wants I see. :3

What a wonderful, delightful surprise!  It's great to see Bioware acknowledging the impact some of their characters have made on us (with DLCs focusing on Leliana, Liara, and now Morrigan). :wizard:  That said, I do hope that some of the guys we ladies romanced might someday get a similar focus...  But it seems unlikely for, say, Alistair, given that this is supposed to be the last DA:O DLC.  (I can still hope for something Kaidan-related from Mass Effect 2.)

I would like to know if I'm gonna be able to import my charater from Golem's DLC. I hope so...

As would I!  (Once I manage to get GoA authenticated, anyway.  I never had these problems with pre-1.04 DLC.)

Also, I would like to know if Alistair or Loghain will be with us. I played a female character and Alistair made the ritual so it's seems Alistair should have something to say and do about this....

Seriously.  I am gonna play this DLC with three out of the four possible DA endings (assuming you can't import from Ultimate Sacrifice), just to see the differences.  I mean, the impact on Alistair could be so different depending on these factors - ditto the impact on my Warden, and on their relationship in general.

So excited!  :D

Unless you romanced neither. And then...oh well?

I hope the DLC is just my warden giving her cunnilingus. It was the only thing he was mildly good at :P. I wonder how they'll play the god baby angle?. Plus its been a year and my Wardens kind of a shy loser :P.

Well, I was happy about WHAT the dlc is, but once I saw that it's the final one, I have lost all urge to play DA anymore. You'd think they'd want to keep us in the DA universe. So for those of us who are sort of on the fence about DA2, we are gonna move onto other games, which may mean I am going to spend my money elsewhere before I spend it on DA2 next year. Wow you should have at least waited to release this until closer to DA2's release, imo of course.

This. Crappy combat scenarios I can deal with, but who's on the writing staff will give us the best idea of the quality of this DLC.

I'm glad it's closure for some people. I'll get it just to see what she has to say to my warden that made Alistair sleep with her. I just hope that doesn't mean I have to see her again down the line.

"Never follow me." With these words, Morrigan vanished into the shadows. Her plans and her whereabouts have remained a mystery... until now. But whether you seek answers, revenge, or reconciliation with your lost love, you may find more than you bargained for.

Probably.

Any word on how long this is going to be? My main problem with dlc so far has been that most can be finished in an hour, two if you stretch it out. It does look interesting though since I have a few characters with Morrigan as my LI, still on the fence about this one though.
