However, some novels have a....trying to avoid the word incomplete but lets use it with a milder effect......a incomplete conclusion. You get the ending and the actual conclusion of the events and the dangers our hero faced but they wont tell you everything that happend from that point onward. It is actually a story-telling strategy in order to make the readers imagine, on their own, what happend next.
Make no mistake. I wish a more outlined conclusion myself. I want my warden to run with morrigan and make a baby football team, but if the writers leave room for speculation, this is my view on why they do it.
